This is my main blog. I do have a few side blogs for my writing and crafting (and my cat). Originally, this was a sims 2 blog, but now I post about reading and just about anything I’m thinking. I hope you’ll join me! I’m going to try to be more consistent in 2023.

“Hey! It’s great to see you again!”
“You too. You ready to eat?”
“Sure.”

He looks really bored. Maybe he gets better service that way.
I think part of that is his face template, but yeah, he does look bored, and you might be right that it gets him better service. I don’t know...
I was tagged by @littleblondesim. I’m not tagging anyone, but if you want to do this, feel free!
Birthday: June 29th Gender: Female Relationship Status: single Zodiac Sign: Cancer Siblings: Three; I’m the oldest, followed by my sister and two younger brothers Pet: I have a cat, Marshall, but he’s not with me right now. (I just moved...) I miss him so much! Wake up time: When I have a job, I usually get up around 5 am, but otherwise I’ll sleep in as long as I can. Lemonade vs. Ice Tea: Iced tea if I have to choose, but I prefer my tea hot. Day vs. Night: In between? I can be a day person or a night person. When I’m a day person, I go to bed very early. When I’m a night person, I wake up very late. It mostly depends on my mood... Text vs. Call: I’d rather text someone than call them, but online chat or email is even better. Ever met a celebrity?: Nope Smile vs. Eyes: Both? Light or Dark hair: I have medium brown hair. I like dark hair better on others, but I’ve always wished mine was red. (That’s mostly due to reading Anne of Green Gables as a girl.) Short/tall: I’m taller than the other women in my family, but shorter than my brothers, who are about 6′! City/Country: Country, I guess. Last song listened to: “Aquarium” from Carnival of the Animals. It’s one of my favorites.

“Thanks for a great evening,” Malcolm replied. “I had a lot of fun.”
“Me too.”
“Can I call you again some time?” he asked hesitantly.
“I’d like that.”
“All right. I’ll call you. Soon.”
“I’ll look forward to it.”
They stood together for a silent moment, unwilling to let the evening end. Somewhere in town, a clock chimed. It was after 1 am. Abby sighed and moved away.
“I’ve got to work tomorrow,” she said sadly. “I need to get home and get some sleep.”
“Good night,” Malcolm said.
“Good night.”
She reached out and touched his hand for just a few seconds before walking away to her car. Malcolm stood and watched her drive out of the lot. Once again, he couldn’t wipe the goofy grin off his face. He watched until her tail lights disappeared, then went to his own car and headed home.

“Here, you keep the pictures we took.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay, but you get to keep them next time.”
“Next time?”

After a few minutes Malcolm got his temper under control. He picked up the phone again and dialed the number for Club Dante. He didn’t know if the employees would be there, if they’d been told to close until further notice, but it was worth a try.
The phone rang four times before someone finally picked it up. “Hello? Club Dante,” said a man’s voice.
“Hello,” Malcolm said. “This is Malcolm Landgraab. I’m the owner of the club. I was hoping I could walk over this afternoon and visit for a bit, just to see how the club is doing. Would that be all right with you?”
“I guess so,” the man said. “It’s just me and the DJ here right now. Technically we’re closed until further notice.”
“Let me guess, a lawyer called to tell you that I’d probably want to come and change everything?” Malcolm said.
“Er, well...” The man sounded nervous.
“It’s okay,” Malcolm reassured him. “I’m sorry if it stressed you or the DJ out at all. The lawyer was out of line. I’ve talked to him. I’d like to talk to you and the DJ in person about my plans for the club. Can I come by for a few minutes?”
“It’s your club,” the man said. “We’ll be here until around six, I think.”
“I’ll head over in a little bit, then,” Malcolm said. “See you then.”
“We’ll look forward to meeting you,” the man said. “Goodbye, sir.”
