okay, so this one is actually a part of walk over the Force series, which has a bunch of parts that all interlock together.

leave behind the prettiest corpse is basically anakin snapping after blowing up his relationship with padme, distancing from obi-wan and ahsoka and generally losing his ability to cognitively dissonate his problems. it's tied together with my other works mystery of water and a star and pretty cloche hats. it's actually quite far ahead, and there's lot i need to write and plan before it can happen, but it's one that i'm particularly excited for!

writing anakin is such an undertaking, partly because he reminds me a lot about the worst of myself, and going there is never a good idea. i'm hoping that it goes well!

i haven't started writing yet, but here is the concept quote for the piece:

All of them are intriguing so much it took me about a few moments to decide which one to choose. But if I had to, it will be "Filters of the Late Republic"

okay, you're the second person to ask me about this, and i love this piece a lot.

it's basically a congregation of in-universe nonfiction pieces that explore the world of the GFFA in the late republic era. there will be new articles, love letters, poetry, political documents, maybe a diary entry or two if i can justify it. the question that the documents try to answer is what happened to anakin skywalker? he was a popular figure, but all traces of him vanished so they had to look for him through other archives.

the main characters-well the writers who provide commentary-are not main characters, so there has to be a justifiable reason for them to have some documents. it's mostly just a chance for me to write on the absolute craziness that is GFFA politics.

You know our society is fucked up when people seriously think being a criminal defense attorney is like. A moral evil.
