Random Girl from Europe who loves and adores the httyd-trilogy very much. But also adores to read books, mostly Fantasy like Six of crows (all time favorite) or books from SJM. Also obsessed with Orcas and Jurassic Park/World.

Thats Freaking Fantastic
That’s freaking fantastic 🥰
I just had to correct him on Stoicks side here in the flashbacks. That’s actually not a reckon it’s a different side from his Character. He tried to be the best father he could in a world where dragons are common threat. He was just softer in their early years because it was easier to protect him. This got harder and harder when Hiccup got older. It shows us a softer, more sensitive side of Stoick we first saw glimpses of it in the first and second movie. For example the smile He gave Hiccup in the end of httyd1 and the dancing and the dreaming sequence with Valka in httyd2.
Sry for this long explaination, I just can’t stand when People say the third movie ignores the other two for whatever reason. It does the exact opposite: it takes the foundations that were lay out in the first two and expand them beautifully.

Iron Flame - Review
Burn. It. Down. Indeed. No, but I really enjoy the second part of the Fourth Wing Saga Even though I have to forgive Rebecca Yarros that she killed one my favorite Characters. The only thing I criticize is that the Love story is in both books to much. And there’s pointless smut also, which for me personally doesn’t feel like a real romantic-releationship more like a physical one. People will I hate me if I say that, but I don’t care about Xaden Riorson. I couldn't form an emotional connection with him because when I look at him I’m just seeing Rhysand and Darkling again. And the Darkling and Rhysand are similar but are characterwise very different, Xaden is a decent character but he doesn’t have what grabbed me when I read about Rhysand or the Darkling. But there are more things I really like then dislike, Violet for example she’s still a very good protagonist and I like the things she’s going trough trough out the book. It’s always interesting with her because she’s smart but also really caring. Some people compare her to Hiccup from httyd, I get they are similar, but I think personally that Hiccup is more complex and more relatable than Violet, don’t get me wrong she’s cool but doesn’t stick out that much, than Hiccup, Celaena, Feyre, Nesta, Zoya or Inej does. As I said before I don’t really care about her Relationship with Xaden that much, don’t get me wrong I like Love-Stories and Romantic stuff in books as in movies very much but at some points I had the feeling that Violet was over focused on Xaden. I know there life’s where attached to each other thanks to their Dragons, but even Feyre from ACTOR wasn’t that over focused on her mate or want to fuck him before a fucking War starts. Their Relationship is definitely the weakest part of the book and should be more in the background, I think that would’ve done overall great story wonders. The political stuff and the Dragon stuff is actually more interesting. Maybe the other three books will get me invested in Xadens Character, if it’s not his Perspective. Apropos Dragons I have to give credit to Tairn and Andarna, they were fantastic. I also really like that we see the see more of the releationship Violet has with her Dragons. But overall I have to confess I like the Dragons from httyd much more, they feel more real. I also really Love Violet and Sloanes relationship near the end, I just wished Violet would be more of a Mentor figure maybe some kind of a sister for Sloane when they resolved their conflict. Syrena and Cat I also liked, but Cat was a bitch until the end happen. But I like that Violet and her now accept each other. I just wish the side characters weren’t that blend. You know very little about them. The political that was going on was also very interesting, Navarre is a very fascinating Kingdom. The ending is very dramatic with Violets Mom sacrificing herself. Sorry but Idk why but I would’ve leave it with this ending instead of Xaden again and his red eyes and the whole scene with Jack. But overall I can recommend it, it’s enjoyable but I personally prefer the first book more. I also never saw so many roasting Videos on YouTube that for 2 hours straight. I mean yeah the Emperyean Series is a little overrated but it has potential and Rebecca Yarros is talented, the only thing that holds the Books a little back is the relationship between Xaden and Violet and also Xaden. But I wish Rebecca Yarros still the best, because I know writing, figuring out where the plot goes, plant Plottwits in it and at the same time make the characters complex and compelling is hard work. But if I were her, I would have waited a little longer to develop and figure more things out and get more feedback.

How on earth is it possible that a Studio (DreamWorks) That fucked up the lore of one of their best franchises (T9R) managed to make this Series so incredibly good. 9 Realms was already in motion when the last two seasons of the JW-Series and that’s crazy to me. Also this whole show is better than the whole new JW-Trilogy and Steven Spielberg was actually an Executive Producer on some Seasons and Episodes. I‘m so excited about Chaos Theory, hopefully it will be good.
Some of the things that were shown with the Characters I would’ve liked to see in Rtte. Like in Season 4 of Camp Cretaceous Yaz has PTSD from the adventures of the Isla Nublar. I would’ve liked to see in the episode after Blindsided a similar scenario with Astrid.
The real Reason why KFP4 was so mid. By the way fuck Universal.
Also about the wild Robot we have nothing to worry about Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois are in charge of it and they understand their Job really well.

A Little Look back at the Fourth Wing Doulogy so far
I still don’t hate the books just Violet and Xadens Romance annyoed me trough one and two. Also still don’t care about Xaden at all. My biggest issue with him is how he is written and designed, he feels more like marketing and a copy and paste of Rhysand but forgetting what makes Rhysand interesting and compelling. Also can someone tell me why they love each other, aside from having sex with each other? It just feels written without emotion and thought. They are some good Ideas but they are mostly in the background. I would’ve liked to see more bonding between Violet and her dragons, more of Vi and her friends and family, more of the political stuff. The Dragons are treaten like mindless creatures. Also why does no Dragon have a saddle? Would make things much easier. I also don’t understand the comparison to httyd anymore, Violet and Tairn are not even like Hiccup and Toothless at all, they also don’t give the vibes of this incredible friendship that Hiccup and Toothless share. Name me one bonding moment between them? Also the comparison between Violet and Hiccup just makes me angry now, because Hiccup is a million times better written and way more intelligent than Violet. Violet is very two dimensional and a Mary Sue. They both have disabilities: Hiccup with his leg and Violet with her ehlers-Danlos syndrome. In httyd Hiccups metal leg is a handicap for him but he doesn’t treat it like a handicap even though it baffles him sometimes, he improves it troughout the trilogy. In Violets case her Syndrome just disappears. She doesn’t find a way to Life with it easier, it is just never brought up again or treated as important as it should in a book with a person that has this kind of illness. The only thing Violet thinks about is fucking Xaden, her whole world centers around him, her Family feels less important. Everything feels less important. And now we are back to all the relationship drama with Violet and Xaden. In the second book their romance is just toxic, they remind me a lot of Tom and Jun from T9R, but both romances weren’t even good to begin with. But the whole book I was just: Break up or finally die Xaden. Hell I was rudding more for Dain and his Releationship to Violet as Friends in the second book. Please never compare Violet and Xaden to Hiccstrid, that would be disgrace to a very natural, very well developed and written couple. That is probably the best Couple in Cinema/Literature. Fourth Wing 1 and 2 are really overrated and it shouldn’t count in the section of Fantasy and Romantsy. Erotic Fantasy fits better. I just wished the romance wouldn’t be the focus of the Story, it could be so much more fantastic and unique if we haven’t Violet and Xaden want to fuck each other the whole time. The Story suffers under it. Rebecca Yarros has talent I could see that in more of the stuff that is going on the background. But if I were you, I would have given myself more time to practice and to figure and develop stuff and characters more. (Also mind of a scriber, heart of a rider is basically heart of a Chief, Soul of a Dragon)
But thanks to these books I know exactly what I shouldn’t do in writing a Fantasy novel were a romance is in it. I can promise you that, the love story in my first book is not the center of the Story it’s actually inspired and modelled after Hiccstrid. Which every Romance Author should take a cake of, because Hiccstrid is awesome in every way possible.

Wagner Moura was awesome!
