can you believe that we have fanfiction. that we have websites dedicated to fanfiction. that there is a place that you can go and read tens, hundreds, thousands and thousands of pieces of writing that strangers have made. people who are not "writers". people who come home at the end of the day and have feelings and say, i am going to put that into words. i am going to share those words. short, long, sweet, sad, horny, funny, wonderful words. we are all just human and we all love to make and remake and share that with others. can you believe that.

Today was my first time posting fma fics second year anniversary. It saddens me that this year I haven't been able to write as much as I used to- not because of life- but because I can't. My brain can't work with me when it comes to writing.

January was spent on writing a chapter for “ took my kids take my fire.” fic, which took a lot of energy to do since that fic has been draining to write as of late- as much as I love it and it is so dear to me, it has been hard putting out new chapters for it.

When I posted that it was in January the 24th, I started two birthday fics for Ed’s birthday- due to me joining in few completions for the clubs I am in in real life, I wasn't able to write and finish Ed’s fics.

I fell ill after that, on February 12th to be exact my health worsened all of a sudden, and I was admitted to the hospital on February the 15th. Spent 4 days there and I was just so drained when I came back home.

The rest of February, and the whole part of March I wasn't able to think of any ideas, the writer's block was so severe. Reading and writing was a hard thing for me to do. Especially parental fics ( be it parental Roy, Riza, Reigen or Loid) for some unknown reason. Then I tried doing something for Roy’s birthday fic but now it is sitting in my drafts and I only wrote like a couple of lines in it. Around Roy’s birthday I had a fallout with a close friend of mine and that fall out left me super confused and also, drained. Unable to really do anything.

Today tho. I was able to start writing a fic for my anniversary. God, I was able to think of an idea, and start writing it. And actually making paragraphs that made sense! I wasn't able to finish it since today was busy - the good kind of busy - but… I feel like I finally made it!

Point of this post I guess is that hey, I am alive, working on art for some big projects and I am going through some tough things in life and being your busy girl. Fics will come, and they might be less than 2023, but I promise, I will try my best to post some things soon

Ed taking a pretty nasty hit to his automail, the port being pretty much destroyed, having to start back at square one, redoing his surgery, relearning and retraining his nerves to move the automail, physical therapy. all of it. all over again.

Dear intrigued readers, by now you’ve been curious about a rather expectant collection to unfold in the midst of our new chapter with hooded sweaters.

There’s no need to worry as in due time we shall take forth in the spring with a special purpose for our dear Alchemic Collectors alike.

I’ve been going absolutely rabid over dad!Roy but I’ve noticed that all ya’ll in this glorious community have been missing out on like some god-tier fluff potential, in the form of Roy taking care of Ed’s hair. Like Ed’s been injured and is in the hospital or smth, and his hair’s all ratty. Roy gently brushing through it??? Roy braiding it?? Roy running his hands through it to make sure he got all the tangles?? Roy even carefully washing it in the sink for him?? Towling it dry?? like hello?????? Ed obviously cares about his hair a lot since he’s grown it so long and kept it that long, and just the concept of him hesitantly allowing Roy to take care of this small but important thing for him?? because no matter how they normally act, deep down Ed does really look up to Roy and wants to be able to trust him with more personal stuff like this??? and Roy being stupidly happy that Ed’s letting him do this, because the kid’s always so prickly and normally adamant that he doesn’t need help??? like I’m losing my mind over this

Y’all ever try to write fluff and end up writing angst instead? Or is that just me?

I was trying to write a fluffy fic with Reigen calling Mob out for a mission after school and coming to pick him up- and somehow I took that idea but wrote it with a lot of angst. I- I don’t know how or why I- help.
