> Child tries to communicate respectfully to their parent how they didn’t have “an attitude” when they just looked at their parent and how they feel like their not being listened to since they have to repeat themselves, whilst begging for them to do so. They even ask their parent to prove they had said “attitude”

> Continues gaslighting and speaking over their child, getting angry and yet silent when they need to show proof, storming off to ask other parent if the child usually has attitude (that’s not evidence)

> Child states they feel silenced and ignored

> Takes away some of child’s things as punishment

> Still states “it’s better to discuss your feelings”

> Refuses to elaborate

> Leaves

I had a dentist appointment today and the doctor’s assistant was a cute younger guy. As he was preparing me for my x-ray scans, my mom told him this was my first dentist appointment in a long time whilst I was clearly a bit uncertain and he said “Aww, it’s gonna be okay” in the most reassuring voice I ever heard. When he actually was doing the scans he kept praising saying “You’re doing so good”, “Just like that”, etc and I could literally feel myself blushing. I clearly love praise and not normal abt it.
