Astrological Placements With Parental Issues (imo)

Astrological placements with Parental issues (imo)

Now take this with a grain of salt cause realistically I’m calling myself out a bit while I write this. Cause bruh I definitely got mommy issues but daddy issues I am not completely sure yet. Anyways let’s get into this.

100% (again take this with a grain of salt bruh)

Capricorn and Virgo Moons- Evidence: I am a Virgo moon and I know a couple of Capricorn moons who either have a dead mom or an emotionally absent parent (can be mom and dad)

Scorpio Mercury especially if they have a Capricorn placement as well: do I really need to say much. Scorpio is known for being mysterious or secretive and mercury is about how you think and communicate. They have something going on cause Scorpio placements can be intense and rough to have sometimes. Honestly I wanted to say scorpio and capricorn placements but I am not sure about Capricorn mars so I didn’t want to say a half hearted thing.

50% (it’s a coin flip from my experience)

Cancer Moon: Cancer moons as a whole have a polarizing relationship with their mom sometimes and I have met some cancer moons who have great relationships with their mom, But I have met cancer moons with the complete opposite but when I say bad relationships it tended to be a codependency onto their mother emotionally.

Taurus Moon: Honestly I feel like it depends on either the rest of their placements but also their sibling’s(if they have any) placements as well. I have three siblings and their moon signs are in order Cancer, Sagittarius, and Taurus with me as a middle child. Cause the Cancer moon sibling didn’t live with us. And the mommy issues are there for sure... Anyways I think Taurus moons tend to either have a stable family unit or felt like they had to basically become a rock emotionally to be the stability in their family.

Scorpio Moon: Kinda like what I said about Cancer moons but it seems like the Scorpio moons I have met their daddy issues seem to take a higher intensity than any bad blood they have with their mother. I feel like since Cancer is the ruler of the Moon the polarizing relationships with the mother just happens more than Scorpio moons. But i haven’t met too many Scorpio moons.

Aries Venus: I am only including this because I have an Aries Venus along with two of my siblings. While the other one has a Capricorn Venus. I again feel like this can depend on the rest of the person’s placements and if the Venus aspects their moon or even if they have it aspecting their parent’s Saturn. For instance, I have my moon, mercury, and Venus squaring my mother’s Saturn. Honestly I would recommend reading up on your own time from somewhere else because oof bruh...when I read up on it I wanted to cry a little from how much I resonated with it.

That’s it for now. I might come back to edit this later if I find out more about other placements lol

Moon-Saturn aspects

Moon-Saturn Aspects
Moon-Saturn Aspects
Moon-Saturn Aspects

This took me such a long time to even think about LOL so this will be a bit of explaining the aspect, and a little bit of recounting my experience with these aspects. I have my Moon conjunct Saturn in a tight orb (2°) in the 8th house as well as a Cap IC, and well firstly, because Saturn does what it does, things do not start out pretty. A lot of people I know with Moon-Saturn aspects have had to grow up and support their family REALLY fast, or at least mature and take on an ‘older sibling’ role when they were very young. Even Moon sextile/trine Saturn has had to, which is something I find really interesting because it’s considered a less harsh aspect. Then again, Saturn brings lessons to anything it touches, and it makes us wiser and more experienced with our emotions, feelings of comfort and home, etc. The people I know with softer aspects between Moon and Saturn are actually much better at absorbing and comprehending lessons from Saturn, almost like seeing these lessons as something that could potentially uplift them right from the start. They’re also usually quick to grasp experiences in life that they turn into lessons to help themselves and others. Usually seen as wise and experienced people by their peers or even people older than them/authority figures, especially when it comes to sorting out their feelings.

But when it comes to Moon square/opposite/conjunct Saturn, that’s usually when we hit a roadblock. Regarding my Moon conj. Saturn, how I felt and emoted and what I expressed (or lack thereof) was never considered important to me in the past, or what my family considered important for that matter. I’ve realised while growing up that I have compartmentalised so much just to get a job done, do well in every aspect (as much as possible), to stay quiet and not ask for help. I have grown so used to denying my own feelings, especially vulnerable emotions like sadness or hurt or inferiority. And when you’re always having a harsh grip on your emotions in fear of vulnerability, you’re also denying yourself softer emotions like contentment, feeling cared for, feeling listened to. You’re in extremely high danger of being misunderstood when you’re silently offering support and taking on burdens without showing how you care and feel. I am so shut down and cold sometimes to cope on my own to the point my own family says I’m the one neglecting them (verbatim). People with harsher Moon aspects to Saturn often experience the extreme sides of Saturn before they start to put their foot down and learn to grow instead of self-sabotage with regards to their own emotions. I am known as the responsible ‘no-nonsense’ one in my family, but also named ‘emotionless’, ‘a stone cold bitch’, ‘untouchable’, ‘a stone doll’, among other things. (My own family has once asked me if I can even love.) I am not any of that, but it took me a very long time to unlearn unhealthy coping mechanisms and be free, to care for myself enough to be vulnerable with others. I am in fact still learning how to find a space where I can fully express what I feel and unpack all the softer emotions I’ve suppressed. I feel this could be different for Moon opposite/square Saturn, where instead of mixing with Saturnian energy (like the conjunct), there is tension instead. These people may constantly feel like they’re fighting an uphill battle, that they’re always rejected/abandoned, and they have had to take their own feelings of comfort and safety into their own hands after many trials and tribulations. They could feel like, well maybe not necessarily the scapegoat, but someone who is always judged and belittled for their needs and wants, and one way or the other they decided to learn on their own and go down their own way, through rebellion and/or trial and error, what was actually good for them, to seek what they want elsewhere, what they actually want and need, and what grants them emotional growth.

People with Moon-Saturn aspects have had to learn how to fight for their own freedom of expression, even if it’s against themselves. How to inhibit themselves less, and to fight for their own comforts and needs, and afterwards retain them. But once they do, they are incredibly powerful. You reap what you sow with Saturn, and when the Moon aspects it, it fills your life with important lessons that lend you a hand to emotional resilience, responsibility, and at the same time, finding what truly comforts and soothes you. I’ve seen a lot of Moon-Saturn aspect natives also retain this certain level of grimness, like they’d bite the bullet if they have to, there’s a quiet resolve to them. You learn to cut away what isn’t necessary, what doesn’t fulfill you, and who does not have a place in your life. You learn to grow your own happiness and emotional growth, what you truly need and seek out what you want, and you have the power and resilience to get there. I’ve had to learn ‘I’ll sleep when I’m dead’ is not a good mindset HAHA, pushing myself to the brink of exhaustion and not allowing myself to complain or even feel is self-sabotaging at best and self-destructive at worst, and self-isolating while judging myself for not living up to impossible expectations is just… not conducive at all. Being the ‘rock’ and getting things done for everybody will mean nothing if you can’t even support yourself, when you don’t have a fallback plan or someone to turn to. There’s also a need to learn that what people push onto you, whatever they restricted and controlled about you in the past, you’re capable of breaking free of it if it doesn’t serve you anymore. Self-expression, emotional maturity and your own truth are what grows here if you learn the lessons of Saturn.

Astro observations

-I swear I love Libra placements. I thought at first it had to do with my fire dominance in my chart, but what I have found out is that if someone has an air placement in either the moon or mars that has caused me some interesting interactions with them. I have wondered if that has to do with Libra being in my third house but I don’t really click with air moons and to a smaller degree air mars. It’s not like I have any bad blood with them it’s more like it takes me awhile to warm up to them.

- You will either love a sag Mercury or hate them. They say some of the most random out of pocket shit but I don’t think you could hate them entirely ya know? Like for me at least I find them interesting asf to talk to but I know that I gotta keep them in check about their shit sometimes. I think for some people that shit would get annoying real quick. Especially if you don’t have any fire placements you would probably get annoyed with a sag Mercury. Honestly it depends on the rest of the chart as well ya know?

-Anyways, Neptune aspecting Venus people are honestly delusional. Like why do I continue to fantasize random ass scenarios of me and my boyfriend. Like I’ll wake up at 3 in the morning and I gotta write down a whole ass song I had in my head which I’m not sure even exist so I write it down just to look it up later. Most times I can’t find the song bruh…I don’t know if that’s just me but my mars in my fifth house along with my Pluto really get me going creatively bruh.

Let me know what you guys think.

As a Sag Moon + Mercury, I love your love for these placements lol. Just found your posts but they’re so nice to read. Thank you!

Thank you so much 🥺🥰😭

I honestly have no clue if what I write makes sense most of the time. I’ve been told that my way of speaking is unique or just plain different. Idk how or why exactly but ehh

Astro observations

Placements included are Aries Mercury, Aries Sun, Aries Mars, Taurus Mars, Taurus Moon, and Gemini Mercury.

Aries Mercury

Alright you greedy fucks! Let's get into this. Like many Aries placements there are the general themes of independence, impulsivity, and chaos. I know I come off rude sometimes but that is only because I have said words in the wrong tone. Other times I’m actually trying to be rude. Here is my fun advice for people as a whole: Take a risk and be okay with someone not liking you. If one person doesn’t like you remember there is a dog that will love you more than that person ever could. Now if there are multiple people that actively dislike you, I got nothing. And even then if you're a earth mercury...are you really listening to a fire mercury? I usually get along well with earth placements but earth mercuries are a whole different thing bruh. Taurus mercuries are okay...unless you disagree with them and act like I do in an argument (with passion) because then you better hope their mars isn't in another fixed sign. Idk take what you can from that. I would say something about Virgo and Capricorn mercuries but I haven't really met too many. Plus most Virgo mercuries I have met also have a Leo sun and Taurus moon so it would be wrong of me to really say much about Virgo mercuries since Taurus and Leo placements (together) will dominant your shit most times. Anyways let's move onto the actually rest of the post.

Aries Sun

The pain of being a bad bitch. Lol idk that pain tho. Most post I have seen has labeled us as wild and childish. In actuality tho that is more likely Aries mars than Aries sun. I do wonder if the degree your sun is in affects the expression. It’s actually a moment cause Aries is exalted in the sun placement. I have an Aries sun at the 17th degree which is a Leo degree. Plus I have a Leo rising so I do wonder if that affected me in any way.

Aries Mars

Damn. I don’t have much to say besides please make sure to check on people after you get mad at them. Like it’s okay to feel anger and express it but idk sometimes people get hurt deeply by that expression. I don’t have too much experience with Aries mars people and Scorpio mars people. I can only go off by the two people I have met with either mars sign. Which are my grandma and my mom respectively. I will get into that another post so yeah sorry for the lack of stuff rn.

Taurus Moon

Indulgence. Depending on the sun sign there could be a lot of emotional repression from my experience. I love you guys…unless there is a Leo sun with the Taurus moon. Idk why but I’ve had so many issues with that combo. It isn’t because of the fixed sun fixed moon. My sister is a double Taurus, and my boyfriend is a Scorpio sun Taurus moon. And I love them both very much. I get along great even with other fixed sign sun and moon combos. Leo sun and Taurus moon however…nah.

Honestly I haven't figured out why I'm so erked by Leo sun and Taurus moon. I mean I'm a Leo rising and my MC is in Taurus so I feel like I could be missing something. Anyways Taurus moons are great. I have a lot of respect for you guys and your ability to just defend yourselves when someone says something about you that you know isn't the right thing about you. Even if everyone else in the room agrees with that person your ass is still going "I am not like that and that is that". Even with a prominent libra placements this seems to be a common thing among the Taurus moons I have met. I know someone with a Libra sun, Venus, and Mars and they will stand their ground when it comes to things being placed onto them and their character when they know it isn't right. At first I thought "maybe their Scorpio mercury has something to help with this" but then I remember my dad.

He has a Pisces sun and mercury with a Taurus moon and mars and an Aries Venus I think. If you are just arguing with him on something he is willing to listen to your point and I enjoyed that the most while I was growing up. As an fire dominant person arguing is my way to be vulnerable with people. If I don't trust that you will listen to me or if I don't want to be close to you emotionally, I will just not talk to you. And when I disagree with something you said, I will not just continue on with my day because I don't want to listen to stuff that bores me aka you. Now back to what I was saying about my dad. He and I enjoyed arguing about anything and everything but if I felt overwhelmed by shit he would literally comfort me. So he is okay with stopping a disagreement. Now I bring that up because I have seen him argue with other people and when they try to place a character trait onto him or someone he cared about, he will stand his ground if you are wrong in his eyes. I don't know if that made any sense but honestly that is the only way I can think of describing the thing that I have noticed about Taurus moons.

Taurus Mars

Sometimes I wonder what you guys feel because I can’t really guess what you guys are feeling fully. Especially if you have a mutable moon. Now the two Taurus mars I can think of is my dad and my brother. They both have two Taurus placements each (my dad as said previously has a Taurus moon as well as a Taurus mars, and my brother has a Taurus sun with his Taurus mars). Personally I rarely saw my dad angry but I have seen my brother angry when we were younger. My brother would get red in the face from yelling especially when arguing with our sister. Two Taurus suns with fixed mars refusing to back down...surprising. Now he has calmed down a fuck ton since then. Luckily he doesn't have to be as angry as he used to be.

Gemini Mercury

My besties no matter what you say I will accept the foolishness. Oh and if you have a Gemini Venus as well bruh. I will be chaotic. It is a simple fact that Gemini placements tend to make me go feral, just pure chaos. I think sag mercuries have the same effect on me but I never know how to deal with them properly. Gemini Mercury tho…bitch I’m swinging off that one loose tile on the ceiling…that makes no sense but it doesn’t matter right now. Sometimes I worry about you guys’ mental state but idk maybe you have daddy issues I won’t judge.

Random observations -Virgo Venuses are definintly one of my favorite Venus placements. I don't have it but I feel like since I have a Virgo moon that Virgo venues are a bop to be around. My boyfriend has one and my goodness I love this man bruh! -I have said it once and I will say it a thousand more times I DON'T CARE! Scorpio placements are not as intense as they are made out to be. I feel like maybe it's just my fourth house being in scoprio and having a couple of pluto aspects, but I feel like their energy is just there. A comfortable energy if you will. -Oh most times if anyone confuses me on an emotional level one of two things are happening astrology wise. Either they have a cancer placement or one of our planets are in the other's 12th house. I said cancer placements because that is the sign in my 12th house. It's just a lot for me emotionally when I meet most cancer placements, but damn bruh. It's a rollercoaster of emotions when I am around a cancer moon. I do feel bad a lot of the time because I know they aren't always trying to emotionally attack me but bruh my heart just doesn't understand it fully.

This isn't really an observation but more a question for my fellow people into astrology. I have my sun and my Venus in a Leo degree and my moon in a cancer degree. Then my mars is in a Capricorn degree I believe. How does the degrees change the different signs/placements in a person's chart? I've heard it makes that part of your chart (with a lack of better words) more like that sign. For example: My Aries sun (Leo degree) and my Leo rising (Again in a Capricorn degree) are living their life with all this fucking attention I get from people somehow, but my Virgo moon in that cancer degree would rather keep up a show than be vulnerable with others. It's just something I've noticed in myself but I just don't know if I am missing something in particular astrology-wise...
