A / N : I've got this on my drafts for two months and I still don't know where I was going with this but I'd rather post it that have it on my drafts any longer yay. Hope you enjoy ♡

yeonjun — huffs and crosses his arms, probably rolls his eyes a few times. he's pretty expressive when mad. you can tell right away when something is bothering him, more specifically you are bothering him. yeonjun can be pretty straightforward and outspoken on a daily basis but when it comes to a confrontation he tends to bite his tongue quite a bit, mainly because he despises the idea of simply not agreeing or seeing eye to eye with the people he loves. he knows whatever is bothering him will cause an argument because, usually, not many things do piss him off badly, so whenever he does feel that way he tries to hold it in, afraid of making a scene but his body language gives him away easily. yells quite a bit during the argument and the more heated the argument, the easier he gets closer to crying and storming off. does come down from his anger easily though and as soon as he comes back into his senses he tries to sit down and talk things through calmly. will understand if you need space but will most likely keep on crying and asking to talk when you are ready. Easily loses focus on the things he needs to do through the day and carries on with his schedule with his heart on his throat and a bit of a panicked aura that sends everybody into a frenzy.

soobin — if yeonjun avoids confrontation, soobin is the entire opposite. once you set him off is quite impossible to get him to stop. doesn't speak or react to anything for quite some time and simply glares as you go off about your opinions of the current matter but once you are done speaking you can bet he'll also go the mile and back just to defend his views. begins to talk fast with a raised voice but does not quite yell at all. points at you with his fingers and accentuates each syllable to highlight all the points he thought you got wrong. turns stone-cold and doesn't want you near; he does think you both need to get some steam off but he doesn't need to feel your presence so near so in case you do try to reach out for his hand or something similar he takes a few steps back, and if you do touch him he'll probably groan and feel secretly disgusted. can go on days being mad but slowly comes back to his senses and tries to reach out after a few days. if the fight isn't so big he might get over it on the same day but if not then he'll be away for two or three days, and won't answer any texts or calls from you. focuses on his work and friends. almost becomes a machine and simply does that, effectively but with little to no emotion. ends up asking for an opinion on the matter from his friends and finally agrees to talk to you. probably breaks down once you two meet and apologizes for extending the argument so much, but also wants you to apologize if the things you said were wrong.

beomgyu — panics a little but doesn't want to show it and tries extra hard to appear as if he doesn't care which makes things even worse. tries to reply to your words with witty comments, casually smiling, or pointing out how dumb it is to argue at all and that just creates a bigger problem. it feels as if he's not hearing at all or doesn't take you seriously but he does. he just hates to fight seriously and wants the whole ordeal to be over. suggests you both talk when you are way calmer or simply hears you out and then leaves the room, screaming from the door that he will go for a walk. if you ask him to stay and discuss things he will do it, but he'll hate every second of it. the moment you start crying he begins crying too. his voice cracks a lot when he's nervous, panicked or angry. breathes in and out heavily. moves his hands a lot to express his point and progressively gets more and more annoyed the longer the fight carries on. sobs out of pure frustration and will definitely tell you to shut up if he reaches his limit. feels hurt, angry and overall really sad. idealized relationships quite a bit and serious fights don't come with his dreamy package. might question the value of your relationship if the fight carries on for longer than a day but quickly snaps back into reality and is the first one to reach out even if you were in the wrong. all he wants to hear is sorry's being exchanged and a solution, nothing else. tends to be pretty harsh when frustrated and gets a sharp tongue out of nowhere, so if you push his buttons he might say something he'll deeply regret but realizes right away and is coming in for a hug in seconds, apologizing a billion times.

taehyun — generally, he doesn't get mad as perse but more like annoyed so if this is just another small petty argument or a problem that can easily be solved he'd feel slightly irritated and cut it short, offering solutions and one small talk about it, dropping the thing in an instant and moving on, but if this is something big then the story is completely different. taehyun can be painfully honest when mad and if you push all the wrong buttons you might end up more agitated and hurt over his words than the problem itself. at first, he'd try to sit down and reason with you. i'd say he makes most of the talk and/or starts to discuss it first. if you get progressively aggressive or irrationally defensive over things he is sure are right on his part and not yours he might also snap. doesn't yell but his tone is stern and almost demanding. fixing whatever you have going on sounds more like an order than anything. rolls his eyes if you refuse to hear him out thoroughly or interrupt him to point out something. doesn't want to go to bed until the argument is over. if he crosses the line with a snarky remark or passive-aggressive comment he might take some time to even realize he said that. apologizes once he hears you repeat what he said to you and feels ashamed for letting his emotions get the best of him. usually, he prefers to simply talk things through and you both have a really stable relationship so arguments rarely turn into fights at all, but when they do, the tension and long talks can go on for days.

hueningkai — he's too stubborn and prideful to ask for help, talk things through when things are going wrong with his own self and that usually leads to pretty bad arguments. he thinks he's got everything under control and things are simply too small to bother him but slowly everything begins to pile up and he explodes. he lashes out on the closest person he has, you, and doesn't stop until he empties his anger tank. it's not like he screams or yells but mostly grows irritated with whoever is near and begins to point out unnecessary things about them; if the drinks they served were too bad, if the food was too salty, things like that and it ticks you off. i believe you'll do most of the talk in those cases and he'll sit down looking slightly uninterested and annoyed. he doesn't drop the act until you are done and try to walk out or leave the space you both are currently sharing. stops you but doesn't know exactly how to say sorry at all so he begins ranting about how everything's been too much for him lately and how the problem is not with you at all. calms down pretty fast and wants to cuddle you while you explain why is so horrible for him to bottle things up like that. bows to work on his attitude and steadily gets better at it, opening up more and more as time progresses. besides that, you both don't share many differences. kai is pretty chill and pacific. when he sees a problem that might affect you in the long term he solves it right away to avoid confrontation at all. he always works hard to find a middle ground between you two so you both can be happy.

(a/n): i miss yeonjun and im feeling particularly upset tonight so i am going to serve hot and fresh yeonjun fluff 😭

his breathing is steady, chest going up and down in slow rhythmic routine that indicates he’s fast asleep. you’ve been talking for awhile in bed, just whispers and conversations of nothing until you wait for sleep to take over. but it seems like you’re the unfortunate target of restless insomnia tonight, your brain refuses to give in to the exhaustion your body is feeling. your eyelids are heavy but refuse to stay closed. so you lay awake in your lover’s arms, ear pressed to his chest so you can hear his heartbeat and your finger is tracing shapes on his forearm.

you find his breathing comforting, he barely gets any rest because of his job and seeing him rest and relax is one of your favorite things to witness in the world. it’s like some sort of privilege that only you and a handful of people get to have. you find solace in his constant breathing, using it as something to ground yourself on and hopefully lull you to sleep soon.

yeonjun isn’t a heavy sleeper so it’s not a surprise when you feel his head perk up, perhaps gaining consciousness because the unrelenting fingers on his skin. though not that firmly pressed, it probably tickled him. you hear him hum, you feel the vibration of his chest on your cheek, you feel his eyes on the back of your head. his opposite hand comes up to weave deft fingers through your unruly hair, strongs finger pads gently massaging your scalp. his head drops on the pillow and finally, “what’s wrong?” his raspy voice sounds nice, they always send tingles down your back.

and it’s so late. it’s probably around 2 am and he should be sleeping, both of you should be. you turn to face him, a frown starting to form. “nothing’s wrong,” there’s a pout is on your lips but you can’t help it, nothing is wrong. “just can’t sleep.” you don’t want him to worry at ass o’clock in the morning when his day is packed and he has other things to worry about.

he smiles, albeit a bit tiredly, as he tucks a hair in place, running his finger down your cheek. “anything particular running through your head?” he asks with such genuine curiosity and tenderness that you want to kiss him and crush him in a hug. you interrupted his sleep and still, he’s concerned and worried and curious about you. you can’t help but smile endearingly, hands coming up to rest under your cheek so you can gaze at him lovingly. “nothing. go back to sleep.”

“you sure?” his brows are furrowed now, obviously won’t take the bait unless he’s made sure you’re okay.

you nod as he cups your cheek, feeling so loved that you’t help but smile stupidly. “i’m fine jjuni.” you insist, feeling a bit ridiculous at the amount of attention he’s giving you. “go back to sleep, you have a long day tomorrow.” you aim to give it a sense of finality, and you’ve won.

“okay baby,” he whispers, giving you a kiss on the forehead that might have lasted longer than normal. “goodnight.” and he settles back to sleep, making sure to keep an arm around you. he knows that it makes you feel safe and secured. provides warmth and comfort.

maybe the lack of extra loving was what’s keeping you up, because not even minutes later, you’re soundly asleep.
