NO SERIOUSLY everyone in my class knows I’m non-binary but SO OFTEN I’m still referred to as “she.” They just don’t think about it. They look at me and just see the boobs.

My mom, too! She’s supportive and loves me and is trying very hard to use my new name and pronouns, but when I came out she told me it’ll be hard because she’s “always seen [me] as very feminine.” I LITERALLY CUT MY OWN HAIR INTO A KEANU REEVES CUT? I WEAR HAWAIIAN SHIRTS OR SUSPENDERS OR BAGGY-ASS CARGO PANTS AND FUNNY SHIRTS. IM NOT A GIRL, IM NOT A WOMAN. I JUST HAVE BREASTS. THEY’RE NOT EVEN BIG. THEYRE SO SMALL. I WEAR MORE CHILDREN’S CLOTHES THAN WOMEN’S CLOTHES AND YET.

My teacher mentions often (it becomes relevant) how society has recently popularized the tearing apart of gender roles, how we’ve created a space outside of the binary gender boxes, and how he and others in his generation don’t fully understand it or its implications, but that man has never gotten my pronouns wrong once. ONCE. And he called me “buddy” and I like it.

Step back and take another look at people. See beyond their bodies. I am more like mothman than I am like a woman. Get to know me, you’ll see.

Alastor hates him, definitely hates him, but also low key respects him because like damn bro how’d you do that? Charlie and Morty get along so well. Rick and Angel fuck probably. Angel secretly being good with kids but also Morty is old enough to tease and mess with and be honest with about the porn stuff and Morty’s so out of his depth. Rick as a drinking buddy for Husk, Lucifer and Husk become two more concerning role models for Morty to look up to. Vaggie would hate all of this because why is this living child in Hell. Ok, I notice people’s aesthetics, and even if it’s something I don’t understand or would never engage in myself, if it’s bold enough for me to notice, I’m still genuinely happy for them. Your style is for you, not for me, it doesn’t matter if I “like” it, you’re making choices and moves to make your life suitable for you. You’re living your best life and I respect the hell out of that. Even if I fully don’t understand that aesthetic, even if I can’t stop noticing just how much eye shadow you’ve used, any potential “judgement” I would have is wildly drowned out by the joy I get seeing people have the confidence to present themselves the way that makes them happiest, or playing with style to find themselves or just to have fun.
