Lol i love this idea. Someone out there named Crash was cursed or named very appropriately.

Thought: Ik we don't see their altmodes much in MTMTE, but imagine an animated adaptation where whenever we see certain characters with names like Skids, Swerve, Whirl, Drift etc. they have a tendency to pull off those maneuvers

And imagine what visual storytelling benefits it could have? For example: If there are past scenes of when Drift was Deadlock, we see hints to his name as he drifts frequently and expertly in his altmode

Also another idea- What if everyone has different little habits or tidbits unique to each altmode?? Like maybe Rodimus's wheels kicks up so much friction that he'd leave sparks or flames if driving too fast? Or Thundercracker when flying through clouds and stuff frequently builds up more static electricity than others for whatever reason? Tailgate having sensors or sight be somewhat inhibited in his altmode, so he doesn't realize when he's too close to someone in front of him? ("objects in mirror are closer than they appear")

one thing i love about the transformers fandom is that there are so many iterations of the same characters over and over, sometimes with wildly different characterizations, that anything you do fanon-wise will never feel completely off the mark. I constantly see people coming up with their own fanon continuities or continuity soups that are wildly creative and yet still feel in-line with the core of the franchise, because canon is so varied that really nothing feels impossible.

transformers started as toys to play with and the fandom really captures the spirit of that with the way we play with the characters. we're having fun playing with our toys :)

Wolf children makes me cry every time I watch it and it's genuinely become a source of comfort and a sign of affection and trust if I ask to watch it with somebody. I watch it at least once a year for my birthday, and have been doing so for the past four or five years.

It's also so relatable as a trans man, at least to me. Watching Yuki force herself to assimilate into human society to make friends (especially her wearing the dress Hana made for her) cut deep for me. Watching Ame find himself and accept that he was wild and find his confidence helped me see the hope in finding myself too. My past was Yuki...my future is Ame. It's a beautiful film and I could make a whole ramble about it.

Ugh I can't stop thinking about how much I love that movie.

Wolf children is actually such a therian coded movie and is so beautifully written. I highly recommend it to any wolf/canine therians out there if they have not seen it before!

I’m gonna say something, and absolutely NO shade to TFP Ratchet fans (I love you guys, really), but I want to express an unpopular opinion.

TFA Ratchet has just as much depth and character as TFP Ratchet.

He just doesn’t get as much attention as TFP Ratchet because he isn’t as hot.

Keep in mind that this is just my personal opinion. I love TFP Ratchet, too. But TFA Ratchet is so underrated, and it really sucks too because he’s awesome.

i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:

1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online

2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links

3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)

4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)

In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)

you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)
