This is just my personal headcannons for if you would work with the BSD cast or not. But all AUs are different so don’t take this seiously.

Characters:

You work with them

After waking up and getting ready you both head to your shared workplace together. You work in the same division & occasionally go on missions together. Everyone at your job knows you guys are a couple and if they don’t your partner will gladly remind everyone who you belong to.

You have been to their workplace a few times and know some of their coworkers although you personally don’t work there. Occasionally you visit to bring your s/o lunch, everyone knows to let you in or your s/o would get mad.

Warnings: none!

I feel like he'd take such good care of himself. (Maybe not so much his apartment, there's a few shirts scattered around and he doesn't always care to fold the hand towels or unload the dishwasher if he gets home late.) But his personal hygiene? On point. 5 step hair care routine, pimple patches at the ready, he also takes rlly good care of his hands. At least a clear coat at all times just to keep them from breaking and have them looking nice, or he paints them black/red/gold. He wouldn't wear acrylics or any jewelry that could get in the way like dangling earrings or chains or overly chunky rings. They can get caught on things or ripped out, and he's not taking any chances.

Dates aren't so much about what you do or where you go as much as it is about just spending time with you. He'll definitely take you somewhere nice if you ask for it or if it's a special occasion, but I feel like he'd be completely fine with a picnic or window shopping. For him it's about the company, sharing a crêpe and holding your hand as you walk along the boardwalk is perfect for him.

Used to not mind having to travel for work but now he hates it, he wants to be close to you in case you need it or you get in trouble for whatever reason. I imagine that he'd be over the moon if you could go with him on his trips. Work is work for him but once he's done doing whatever he has to do (negotiations, murder, whatever) he's delighted to explore with you wherever you are. Bonus points if he's undercover and you can add to the story, what better than you dressing up fancy and pretending you're married to infiltrate some party?

Literally the prettiest man on earth but he still gets flustered when you point it out. He'll stammer and go beet red, and probably screech at you. I feel like he loves to give off the whole "rugged gangster bad boy" vibe (see the wan) but it really doesn't stick at all. I mean come on, he loves posing in front of the mirror, he loves Kenji, he asks about Kyouka, the man is a sweetheart! But he's not used to genuine, upfront displays of affection or compliments so if he gets them it's an instant shutdown. Don't let that fool you though, when he's gotten a hold of himself he'll be absolutely glowing with how pleased he is.

Another little headcannon of mine is that he'd love to match things with his partner. Same jewelry or the same piercings but one set in silver and the other in gold, subtly colour coordinated outfits or accessories. I don't think he's the kind to flaunt you from the rooftops but he'll have you on his arm, he'll get you matching rings, he'll hold your hand while you walk.

ADA Men with an S/O with Social anxiety (BSD)

Characters: Dazai, Ranpo, Kunikida, Atsushi

Dazai:

- …Good Luck

- Not that he’s bad with helping you out although he’ll try to push you out of your comfort zone a lot

- He’ll do that by introducing him to his coworkers/friends and try to get you in more situations to help you

- But he’ll also still be his usual self and tease you in public + PDA (though hes trying his best not to go overboard)

- If you ever get nervous/nauseous before meeting with someone he’ll be there to comfort you with cuddles and kisses

- If you ever cancel on him because your social anxiety he will get sad and mention it “bella, why’d you have to cancel on meee”

- Whenever you guys make plans he also makes sure to schedule a few days in advance so you can prepare for the outing

Ranpo:

- The best and worse in this case

- Ranpo won’t really know how to help you out whenever your nervous/nauseous for an outing… But he tries might give you some sweets

- Also he definitely knew you had social anxiety the moment he laid eyes on you

- He also wouldn’t understand how you have social anxiety much but hes not going to pry deep into that topic

- If you ever cancel on him he might cry (which would be worse then anything your brain can think of so don’t cancel on him)

- He’ll also expect an apology cuddle session at the agency (if you don’t work there that doesn’t matter, you’ll be there anyway)

Kunikida:

- Will be worried about it/be careful not to cross important boundaries

- He wouldn’t know much to do, unless you talk with him about it

- Might give you some space when your anxious, but if you vomit he’ll be there to help you

- Always plans on his schedule at least 10 minutes before an outing to help you calm down a bit

- He will get annoyed at you if you ruin his perfect schedule (which might start an argument)

- Overall… He can be the best sometimes but also not great at all

Atsushi:

- He’s also a bit anxious of social situations so he understands a bit where you come from

- He’ll try his hardest to comfort you but he might not be the best at it (he’s trying his hardest though)

- Also will introduce you to the people at the agency unless you work there, then you guys get to go on assignments together!

- If your feeling unwell/nauseous he will be there with you to rub your back (also to hold your hair if its long)

- You guys will probably both be hugging eachother go prepare for new situations

- He will also whisper praises in your ear before & after telling you “I’m proud of you” and “you did well today”

Why you shouldn’t censor Mori's name.

This is off from my usual content, but I wanted to make this post since I’ve been seeing this.

We'll start this off by saying, this isn't at all supporting his actions in the manga or anime. His actions are disgusting and it has been proven. This is simply an informational piece to those who censor his name. I will not sugar coat my words since there is no purpose for me to.

Mori is a popular Japanese surname, one that, if I remember correctly, is around 20th place in how common it is. Mori in BSD is purely fictional, he isn’t real. Now, there are real people with the surname Mori who I doubt are a Mafia boss. I won’t say that there are people name Mori who haven’t had pedophilic thoughts since there isn’t any proof of that. On top of that information, we have the real Mori Ougai.

The Mori in real life wrote the book Vita Sexualis which I believe was banned soon after its release. It’s not your run of the mill erotic novel. Mori had his issues with sex education, sexual desires, and also the right place of sensuality. His book is about his journey into being sexually aware. His first exposure was to shunga (春画),which is essentially woodcut into erotica, at the age of six. Then goes into his first physical response to a woman and also his experience with an courtesan. Vita Sexualis had been, and still is, an important, important documentation of Japan's moral struggles during the cultural disturbances in the last years of the Meiji era.

By censoring his name, it is blatant disregard for the author and people whose name is Mori. You are proving that you are an ignorant fuck and have no respect for the struggles and suffering the book represents. It's all about Japan until it starts struggling! It's all about Japanese culture until it doesn’t work in your favor and people express discomfort. You are showcasing your stupidity and lack of knowledge on a topic you haven’t explored even remotely.

Mori Ougai isn’t the character in BSD, he was a real person who struggled.
