Since I’ve been working on a new deathscythe I thought I’d give a bit of a call back to the first gundam I have ever painted and take new photos. I was so new to this and extremely impatient. Lots of silvering on the decals, nibs that weren’t properly sanded down, paint defects. I destroyed a few decals and used some of the transfer decals for some parts. I really had no idea what I was doing. I’m still learning but I have learned so much since then. Most of all I’ve learned to take my time. Painting these gundams is a therapy to me. It’s one of my many anchors, so I just wanna thank all of you who compliment or show interest in these as I’m doing them ❤️❤️❤️

Recently changed the blue on my RX-78. I originally went for more realistic colors but I really fell in love with the verka blue. I may use this color on something else in the future.

Im half considering re-doing the red too.

What I got done yesterday. Lots of decals for the wing. And I like making videos

This fixes the problem I’ve had with this story since I was a kid.

We had to write a Mini Comic for my Illustration Class so I did mine based on The Frog and The Scorpion. Hopefully you all know the story! 

But if you don’t know the story… In the original the scorpion stings the frog in the middle of the river. When the frog asks “why” the scorpion says “it’s in my nature” and they both die. I like my ending more.

Done with watercolor and pen and ink nib.

Heavyarms build pt. 2

I haven’t touched this thing in a week due to the flu. Finally did the leg packs. Still waiting on the Micromesh I ordered so I can finally paint the gold titanium.

Painted the tank and going to do the ammo chain in beige too, the Gatling gun will be interesting

Finally matched the orange, Gatling gun is coming along nicely :)

Finally got all the stuff in for the gold titanium starting to throw that on.

Have to redo one part but otherwise gonna throw some decals on and it should be good

Heavyarms build Pt. 1 Saying bye bye to the red but I love the orange I made. So many undertones and adding the clear red to it has such a n
