Hey guys, I'm going on a long break from this for a little while since I don't think I'm the greatest mentally(?) Rn.

So I got my hs course selection sheet, and I get mostly honors excluding science, which i get CP(college prep) in what whatever, it's fine. But I get core math, which, if you don't know, it means the lowest class.

I have a nice and easy 89% (B+) in math, so I was both mortified and confused. I had 87% in science, and I got in CP, so why shouldn't I have gotten CP in math?

Call me petty and an overachiever if you want, but it really wrecked me a lot since I hold myself to a high(ish) standard a lot of the time.

So, to put it in retrospect, I don't feel the greatest about it. Tears were shed, and I just think it'll be good to take a break while I short my life out.

My dad doesn’t use tumblr so it’s safe to share this. He retires in less than two months and he’s looking forward to following his dream of being a nature photographer. He spent his life working to give me the opportunities he never had. I made this for him. I’m getting it printed and framed. We’re all going to sign it and give it to him during his retirement party.
