I’m working on a spidersona and I need help naming them. Their name (not alias) is Jacinth “Jac” Spinner. They have a purple theme with some blue accents. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Like me they use she/they or any pronouns and are very hypermobile, use forearm crutches (like sun-spider they shoot webs), and they’re Autistic. They wear hinged braces on their knees, compression sleeves on their elbows, and compression gloves on their hands. When not in the mask they have shoulder length brown curly hair.

Okay, so I love sitting cross legged and it’s the most comfortable position for my body to be in except for the fact that it always makes my left leg fall asleep to the point that it’s extremely painful so I have to keep my leg out straight but that’s not comfortable and hurts other parts of me.

Does this happen to anyone else?

So I got home to my parents place yesterday to find out that my doctors request for custom knee braces was denied by my insurance and I’m devastated. I’ve tried so many prefabricated braces and either they don’t fit or don’t do enough and because I don’t have documented loss of muscle tone or a deformity in my knees they denied it. Im majorly hypermobile and my thighs don’t fit into prefabricated braces so unless there’s like a fucking miracle prefabricated brace that I haven’t tried idk what to do. My knees slam back randomly and it hurts so bad, my knees are seriously unstable, and just overall they suck. Fuck insurance why do they get to decide what’s medically necessary

I have never felt more seen than this pallet jack makes me feel. This is what it feels like for me to be disabled. This applies to me in many ways but perhaps most literally I am physically very strong but my joints are shit so combine those two things and I come out as a pallet jack

One of the most annoying things about POTS- I have a separate air conditioning unit from the rest of the house in order to keep my bedroom at the same temperature throughout the day. It's set to 80F° and has not changed at all, but I keep having to bury myself under my thick fluffy blanket and heavy bed comforter because I'm freezing- then I through it off because it's way to hot and I feel like I'm burning up- which sucks. It's like having a fever, but I very much do not have one- I checked .

To summarize my rant about the annoyances of having no body temperature regulation due to POTS- is

Temperature- no change

Body heat- burning up or freezing, switching at random

This is bs- I want a refund on my very dysfunctional body

I have a drs appointment on Tuesday to hopefully get evaluated for hEDS yay. I Hope i can get a preliminary diagnosis from her i stg. It would explain so much and then maybe just maybe I’ll be taken more seriously by other docs. Like seriously it would explain SO MANY of my issues like nearly all of them I stg
