He’s highly concerned, you’re usually alright with the fact that he’s not interested in sharing physical affections in public

He will hug you, but it’s really you who’s hugging him

He won’t stop the hug until you let go

Unfortunately for him that means he might be here for awhile

not that he really minds, he just can’t help but think of the duties he’s meant to be performing at the moment.

yeah he’s a little worried about why you felt the need to say it, but he’ll always give you hugs

He knows you’ll tell him what it’s about when you feel like it, so for now he’ll just hold onto you

when you are ready to be let go he’ll give you a little squeeze before letting go

He doesn’t know that, but now isn’t the time to mention it

will run slow circles on your back and kiss your head until you want to be let go

when you do want to be let go he will hold you at arms length and looks you in the eye with a sympathetic look before giving you another kiss

(gonna be completely honest I had to watch a couple episodes to refresh myself here so it might not be stellar, hope you like it anyway)

He’s definitely amused by your irritation

He hides it well though

not gonna lie though, he’s kinda annoyed too

he’ll let you be annoyed for a little while before trying to reason with you

depending on how stubborn you are he might give up and you might just spend the rest of your wait in mutual irritation.

Sweet kid, will do his best to get you to cool off, even if it’s useless

He means well, but it’s certainly not the best course of action, he’ll end up telling about the latest thing he’s learned in his studies

It does work, but it works by boring you to tears

you can’t bring yourself to be mad at him though because he’s trying, he’s really trying

Honestly, if it takes too long for someone to fix the turbo lift you probably both fall asleep (listen you’re just sleepy people okay, I don’t make the rules)

He runs through his database and tries everything, and I mean everything, he finds to try and sooth you

poor baby just wants to help, but probably irritates you more in the process

if you don’t deck the poor android first, he’ll eventually land on just asking you what’s wrong

upon finding out that you urgently had to be somewhere and couldn’t be late, he assures you that they’ll probably excuse your tardiness/absence because you don’t control the turbo lift.

sure she had somewhere to be, but this would be over soon

As for your irritation, she’ll try to talk you down from your hot temper

If/when that fails, she will give up on actively talking you down and settle for talking at all.

I’d only be able to keep a job on the Enterprise because I’m too scared to tell people things like: that’s a bad idea, you’re an idiot, why the hell would you do that?, etc. but trust me, I’d be thinking those things the whole time. I’d probably be fired eventually though because I was found sleeping on duty. I’d probably be the clumsiest engineering cadet. I took a personality quiz once, my result was “expendable redshirt”

As far as I've known myself, if I were a starfleet cadet or acting officer, I'd be kicked out of the starship within a week for severe and frequent disagreements with the captain and other senior officers. I wonder what my profession would be in the Star Trek Multiverse. Probably a chaotic freelancing artist, with a lego collection of every planet that's been successfully charted, without actually being on one except my homeplanet. Lol that's me.
