"The world is cruel,
Therefore I won't be."
Kindness that saves you unexpectedly >>>
You believe being strong wasn’t a choice you made but the only option you had, and then there will come a person who’d talk to you on a bad day and stop you from being unkind to yourself.
You’d be thinking of how you did poorly at a presentation when that one person will text you to let you know how amazing you were. You’d be feeling unappreciated, and there will be a person who wants to learn from you how to excel at something. See it’s great, obviously, to be self-dependent, but there are always days where you will be saved by someone just a little, and they may disappear into their life the next day, but you’ll remember them.
To say the world isn’t a kind place so we should deal with it is practical. But to be a little kind whenever you can because the world isn’t a kind place is more human.

There is something so beautiful about them not knowing who you are anymore. They don't get to see how you are thriving. They'll never hear you speak about your new achievements. And I think there is so much comfort in knowing that you are a completely different person whom they'll never have a privilege of meeting.
I know that at first it's heartbreaking: becoming someone they won't recognize. But then it's the most freeing thing in the world to become better than the way they left you: broken and doubtful.
As much as you have forgiven them and moved on from everything, you don't have to let them in again. They don't deserve to be in your life. To know you inside out. They are not worthy of being around you because God knows how much you had to bury before you rose again.
I need you to know that a life untouched by unwelcomed hands is a beautiful thing. It's powerful to be able to live without them. It's liberating.
There is beauty in becoming better without them.

remember being ten and future plans were so far away? and now you have one foot into that future and nothing seems to be right and all you want is to step back but the past keeps crumbling as soon as it's made. there's no going back, there's nothing to go back to.
One of the sweetest parts of loving someone, is having their wellness prioritised as if it were your own. It becomes natural to share whatever goodness you have or do, with them.
Like "oh!! This chocolate is so good I'm gonna save a piece for her!" Or instinctively saying their name in every prayer you make.
Instead of thinking and doing good only for yourself, you do it for them too. Love merge people in such a way, that they become not only a part of our life but an extension of us.
Please don't try to have a casual conversation with me if you owe me an apology:)
