I'm going to take a short break for at least the weekend due to personal circumstances. I can't go into detail why. I'm sorry.
It's official now. Monday is the worst day of the week for me. I can't look at Monday the same anymore.
Just saw the bluey minisode and muffin is chaos. Muffin was meant to be a star in some way so this was perfect. Not much to say besides that tbh.

Spoilers from the new episode "Surprise"

Bluey throught the years

When bandit pulled out that sign and the music started playing whew that was a rollercoaster to say the least.
Reasons NOT to tell someone to Kys
1.) It might trigger a suicidal bystander. Â
2.) It is a crime, people have gone to jail for this.  If the person does commit suicide, you might be liable.
3.) It won’t cause the person to agree with you. It ends any chance of a civilized discussion.
4.) A child might be reading the post over someone’s shoulder.  It might be the first time the kid learns about suicide.
5.) The account might be a troll account, and they feed off negative attention.
6.)Â If one of your friends is struggling with depression, they might not consider you a safe person to tell.
7.) It might trigger someone’s intrusive thoughts.
8.) That person might have a pet and the pet will miss its breakfast.
9.) Your Grandmother doesn’t think you are the kind of person to do that.
10.) The person might get off to it. The internet is a wierd place.

AITA for not telling my friend she's tone-deaf?
I (17f) have been attending a weekly theatre group for the last 10 1/2 years. My friend, B (17f) joined about four years ago and we were quickly fast friends.
The club focuses on musical theatre, like singing, acting and dancing, and we have lessons in all three every week. I'm one of the kids who has been there the longest and have basically grown up there, so I've got quite good at being able to figure out the difference between a lack of confidence, a lack of practice or something else. My mother is also tone-deaf and I hear her singing plenty of times to know what the difference sounds like. I figured out B was tone-deaf about a year and a half into her time at the club.
I have nothing against anyone tone-deaf and I personally take no issue with it. The club isn't very serious or hardcore and is mostly just a way to hang out with people your age and have fun on stage. I don't care if anyone is really good or really bad, I just hope they try their best and have fun, so B's singing abilities don't bother me. She's an amazing actress and plenty of fun.
The issue stems from two things. 1) some of the other kid sin the group are noticing she's bad at singing or at least isn't singing 'properly', and 2) she wants to be a singer and has no idea she's tone-deaf and can't hit the notes she wants.
I'm worried one day someone will tell her very untactfully that she's bad at singing and won't make a career out of it, or worse, actually mock her for her abilities. She loves singing and is passionate about music. My mother told me not to tell her, as she herself was never able to forgive the person to ruin singing for her, but i don't know if i should keep quiet bc im scared someone will be cruel not kind.

This is so cute!!

We are the fairy peas of Christmas!
Happy new year! I apologize for the absence, but I broke my phone and had to replace it.
I should add that I'm sorry if a certain user isn't a porn bot, but that I don't wanna risk seeing anything I don't want to.

To cuphead: how long have you been singing for? P.S. Break a leg! Your gonna do great.
To chalice: Do you have any hobbies? Or a job?
(P.S. I love Comedian Cuphead.)

Am I the asshole for setting traps for a family friend's pet?
I'm an inventor/electronic engineer by trade, and my inventions are very expensive and usually somewhat fragile, but a friend of my daughter's has a pet that keeps getting into my apartment and damaging them (knocking them over, knocking stuff onto them, pushing buttons to cause malfunctions, etc.) It's really hurting my livelihood.
So, I decided to set traps for it. Just non-lethal stuff — no poison or anything like that, mostly just various boxes and cages to keep it away from my inventions. But my daughter doesn't seem to approve.
AITA?
(Context: I'm 47M. Pet is platypus, 6)
