Someone Becoming Better For The Sake Of Just One Person Is Such A Good Trope, Not Only In Romance But
Someone becoming better for the sake of just one person is such a good trope, not only in romance but also when it comes to friendship (my favorite) and family. Reminds me of this (beloved) quote from The Bane Chronicles: "He had seen many monsters who could love, but only a few who had let that love change them, who had been able to alchemize love for one person into kindness for many."
You know, I actually like the thought of Dabi being a genuinely shitty person until he sees how it negatively affects Hawks and is then like auujajhhh nevermind I love boundaries and respect

"Crack-ish" this is incredibly angsty. I'm gonna write it.
Thinking about a crack-ish fic where another Hawks comes in from another world, except he's a villain. And Dabi thinks this is the best case scenario. He just won the lottery. Until he realizes he was completely wrong. Hawks isn't a build-a-bear where Dabi can isolate these qualities about him that he likes. Because he doesn't, in fact, like this Hawks. He likes his Keigo.
Except his Keigo is beyond pissed at him for this stunt and will barely even look at him now. Villain Hawks notices what happened, obviously, and thinks this is fucking hilarious. Just entirely unhelpful comments the whole time. "Ooooh you fucked up so bad. Do you know how much we love attention? And you ignored him for a different him? He'll never forgive you."
The term "sapphic" is so, so, so beautiful
Just for the record, I fully support the Hawks pegging agenda. I'm asexual but I would peg him if he asked. Just him though.
These days I've been feeling a little bitter whenever I think about my high school crush but I was just sorting through my stuff and found my old drawing book, with a half-done drawing of him on the last used page, very tiny, like I was afraid someone could see it if I made it any bigger, and it made me smile
(I love this in general and in particular as someone who doesn't like the Villain!Hawks trope.)
