Watching HG Catching Fire: maybe it's just me, but it feels so rushed and forced.

And why is the convo between Peeta, Katniss, and Haymitch (after the victory stop in district 11) so so rushed? Like there is so much content in the book, and if I hadn't read it I would have no idea what was going on.

This is totally a tanget, but, Claire's piercing story: when I got my ears pierced for the first time when I turned 16, my mom took me to a tattoo parlor (because Claire's uses a gun that can't be cleaned completely and it spread germs and it can infect your ears and also leads to more scar tissue in your ears.)

And then on my 17th birthday, my sister took me to breakfast and said hey I'm paying for your second piercings, do you want to do that now? And I was like of course let's go. Problem. It was my 17th birthday. I needed a parents signature, and the tattoo parlor was like, a nice enough place that they would really care. But I was so excited, so instead of going home and getting my mom to come with us, we went to Claire's, and I took my sisters ID (she was almost 19) and pretended to be her. I had to fake her signature and forgot her cards pin number so I put in the wrong number for the pin and texted her "pin" and when the machine was like WRONG so I told the lady Oh i always forget which number I use haha and then put in the number my sister had just texted me.

And that's the story of how I committed identity fraud as a 17 year old.

Here's why to not make this:

The drink is extremely acidic, and after you drink it your stomach will hurt so so much because the acid is irritating your stomach lining (which also happens when you eat other acidic things, like oranges, but on a much lower level)

Why are the buildings in D12 still smoldering?? It was bombed when Kat ended the games, and then she's asleep for days and has time to get more or less settled at D13, enough that they know they have to cart her back to bed most nights, so why is the district still smoldering??

It's fascinating to see the capitol's side as they plan to bomb the injured. The fact that they would sink so low as to kill the dying. Like, that's not gonna win the war, it just makes a statement.

Maybe this is just my memory, but in the books, finnick's propo is for information purposes, in the movies its to jam signals and break Annie, Johanna, and Peeta out.
