You think with all these Tech posts, he’d be my favorite. He’s not — I am more for Echo and Hunter lmao. The CX-2 theories were really interesting to me and since Tech seemed like the prime candidate I ended up talking about him for a bit. With the final episode of Bad Batch coming in less than a week now, I wanna say it’s been fun and I hope this fandom continues to keep Bad Batch alive. The community for this show has been amazing so far. I’m glad we can all come together and enjoy this show. Have a good day, everyone! ^_^

Also to the other Bad Batch fans concerned with Echo’s safety, I was literally not worried until I heard all the ways this could go wrong. Now I am scared. Why did you do this to me. /j

To the “Tech is alive” truthers — all of them — I hope you’re okay. Some of you stuck it out to very end. Some of you still haven’t given up. Your theories were amazing and you actually got me to believe that there was a possibility Tech would come back. You’re all awesome.

To the 130 people who voted on my “Bad Batch Finale” poll: none of you chose the “watch the finale and then dropping the show for good” option and I’m so glad because that was not the correct answer.

And thank you to the entire Bad Batch fandom: I likely wouldn’t have gotten too into this show without you. Thank you for making this experience more amazing than I possibly could have imagined.

That being said, since we have no confirmed answer on CX-2, let’s just all agree he was the soup clone so we have some closure.

I went into Bad Batch with only somewhat vague knowledge of Clone Wars and Rebels, so there were a few times where I was just sitting there scratching my head and my brother had to answer my questions. Why is Echo part cyborg??? Wait, he was a reg before??? What do you mean???? Is Crosshair always like this or is it just the chip?? Oh, he was always an asshole? Okay, but why is everyone else so surprised by his behavior then? Why would they even like him then? If they were just turning a blind eye to his behavior because it was focused on the regs, doesn’t it make these guys kind of shitty too? Have they never seen a child before??? Do we not like Nala Se? What did she do? Oh okay I recognize Tarkin, we hate him, right? Right. Crosshair is acting really pissy towards his brothers when he just attempted to kill them, like, multiple times. Make up your mind, dude. You can’t have it both ways (yes, by that point my brother had finally convinced me that Crosshair’s behavior was 90% him and only like 10% of the chip).

Also my brother told me that Tech died before I even started season 2.

Imagine if Clone-X wasn’t Tech, but Tech is still alive and being prepped to become an assassin. The Bad Batch see this, take a deep breath, look at Rex and are like: “Okay we’re joining you and fighting the empire again to get Tech back. Soldier life it is.”

And then we have to wait like a year or two or five to get that resolution.
