Imagine if Clone-X wasn’t Tech, but Tech is still alive and being prepped to become an assassin. The Bad Batch see this, take a deep breath, look at Rex and are like: “Okay we’re joining you and fighting the empire again to get Tech back. Soldier life it is.”
And then we have to wait like a year or two or five to get that resolution.

Share a fun fact (or more) or something of the like about your experience watching this show! Do you rewatch this show a lot? Do you always bring your family to watch it with you? Did it take you a long time to catch on to something? It can be anything, really! I’ll go first:
I went into Bad Batch with only somewhat vague knowledge of Clone Wars and Rebels, so there were a few times where I was just sitting there scratching my head and my brother had to answer my questions. Why is Echo part cyborg??? Wait, he was a reg before??? What do you mean???? Is Crosshair always like this or is it just the chip?? Oh, he was always an asshole? Okay, but why is everyone else so surprised by his behavior then? Why would they even like him then? If they were just turning a blind eye to his behavior because it was focused on the regs, doesn’t it make these guys kind of shitty too? Have they never seen a child before??? Do we not like Nala Se? What did she do? Oh okay I recognize Tarkin, we hate him, right? Right. Crosshair is acting really pissy towards his brothers when he just attempted to kill them, like, multiple times. Make up your mind, dude. You can’t have it both ways (yes, by that point my brother had finally convinced me that Crosshair’s behavior was 90% him and only like 10% of the chip).
Also my brother told me that Tech died before I even started season 2.

If todays episode of bad batch doesn’t start like this I’m throwing a fit:
About to watch the new bad batch episodes. Nothing bad will happen to anyone. They all go in here so they’re safe.
This bad batch season so far has been full of great character moments and building up relationships but I think I was expecting less filler for the final season of a show I love so dearly. When we get episodes like the most recent with Fennec, Hunter, and Wrecker going on a little side quest to get a praying mantis instead of actively fighting against the empire and engaging in tension filled moments I feel a bit let down.
Don’t get me wrong I’m loving the season it just seems to be ramping down for no apparent reason other than “we ran out of ideas to make the empire a threat AND build character.”
Maybe I’m crazy but I expect more from the man that wrote the siege of mandalore arc for clone wars. Dave Filoni is the leader of my cult and I would never insult him but cmon cowboy hat man, gimme something that will put me on the edge of my seat for 30 full minutes and leave me in shambles.

There is a single shot in the newest bad batch episodes where I swear Emerie is taller than Scorch and if that means that Omega will be taller than everyone except maybe Wrecker I’m going to scream.
The truly abhorrent level of feral I will become when the bad batch finale releases tomorrow and one of my comfort characters (crosshair) does a heroic and sacrificial death to save Omega.
