Its very early (TBB spoilers)

Echo is back our boy is back and not just that but he was the best part of the episode?? They really gatekeep this man to the point that we all lose our collective minds any time they deign to put him on screen. He was absolutely my favorite character this episode (Hunter coming in at a very close second with that last scene) and they did not disrespect him in the slightest, I hope we get to see him stay this involved with the last couple of episodes *completely ignoring the possibility that he could die*

That all-black armor is definitely not foreshadowing or symbolizing anything right? nothing to worry about here *let me live in my delusions*

Also I feel like if we get a CX-2 reveal at any point it will be in the finale and it won't be a main plot point unless the last episode is much much longer than a normal episode (which I've seen speculated). I also still think its either Tech or Cody (mostly Tech if I'm being honest when was the last time Cody said domicile). And if it is Tech then where is Cody?? We still don't know what happened to him I think a lot of people will riot if that question doesn't get answered.

The finale will either be the best thing or the worst thing that has ever happened to us ~*we are being set up*~

Congratulations to Dave and Jennifer on getting a sleep deprived college student out of bed at 6 in the morning you should be very proud of yourselves.

So I have two theories on who this could be.

A) This is Tech. If you go and look at this guy through Crosshair’s thermal scope, you’ll see this guy has prosthetic legs. (Like maybe he took a big fall..) And he has an unusual amount of plot armor to just be some guy. I mean, he survived falling down a waterfall. Regular clones have died from much less. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume he’s a genetically defective clone. Also, I couldn’t help but notice the way he talks sounds a lot like the Batch, more specifically, Tech. And his thinking is a bit more out of the box than a regular clone’s. It almost feels like he knows what the Batch is going to do next.

B) This is Cody. Cody literally disappeared and hasn’t been seen since. And one thing I’m particularly stuck on is the fact this guy went head to head with Crosshair. And remember last we saw Cody wasn’t too happy with Crosshair, seeing as they had a…. Disagreement of sorts. It’s not that much of a stretch to assume Admiral Rampart had Cody sent to Tantiss.

I’m honestly hoping it’s Tech because at least then he would be alive.

Commander Cody is really going to spend the rest of his life in sickening guilt and grief over someone he will never know has already forgiven him. Man

So from what I can tell, the imperial clone assassin theories can be summarized as this:

Happy Bad Batch Eve. Let the anxiety for the next two episodes begin.

About some CX-2 Theories

I’ve seen and heard a bunch of different ideas on who CX-2 could be. The most common ones I’ve seen are Tech, Cody, or a random clone, but I see some other ones as well! Some people theorize it’s Dogma or Fives or a clone of Crosshair, or a Frankenstein of the entire Bad Batch. So, I’m curious, if you don’t think it’s Tech, Cody, or a random clone (or the soup clone, whoever he is because I have no idea what people are talking about. Who is the soup clone????), who do you think CX-2 is and why? There are some theories I don’t exactly get the logic of, but I’m genuinely interested in how people came up with their conclusions!

I do wanna hear from as many of you guys as possible, so if it’s not too much trouble, please reblog! Although I’m horrifically late for joining the fandom, I’m so glad I did. It’ll be sad to see the show go, but I’m happy that it happened.

I went into Bad Batch with only somewhat vague knowledge of Clone Wars and Rebels, so there were a few times where I was just sitting there scratching my head and my brother had to answer my questions. Why is Echo part cyborg??? Wait, he was a reg before??? What do you mean???? Is Crosshair always like this or is it just the chip?? Oh, he was always an asshole? Okay, but why is everyone else so surprised by his behavior then? Why would they even like him then? If they were just turning a blind eye to his behavior because it was focused on the regs, doesn’t it make these guys kind of shitty too? Have they never seen a child before??? Do we not like Nala Se? What did she do? Oh okay I recognize Tarkin, we hate him, right? Right. Crosshair is acting really pissy towards his brothers when he just attempted to kill them, like, multiple times. Make up your mind, dude. You can’t have it both ways (yes, by that point my brother had finally convinced me that Crosshair’s behavior was 90% him and only like 10% of the chip).

Also my brother told me that Tech died before I even started season 2.
