I decided that Steria is a trash talking gamer girl. This can only be an improvement to this character.

Rumi again. I like how the top row turned out, and despite her awkward wave I think she'd be a good waitress. Just realized I forgot her tail on the last one. Whoops.

Another one of these, this time for Rumi! She's pretty cheery and rambunctious, and fun to draw. She's a very big girl (just under 9 ft / 3 m tall). The stuff on her face and arm is paint, and her tail is flexible & quite strong. Not a big fan of shoes.

Working on a wardrobe for this little elf/fairy type character. Started out as basic but got more expressive toward the end. As always, need to work on hands/feet but I think the proportions are cute.

Her name is Steria, she's in college and majoring in Alchemy!

Pics from my second art stream!

I did another stream a while back, took me quite a while to get everything in here on Tumblr, though. Starting with this mashup:

I was given two suggestions, “Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!” and “Katamari Damacy”. So I combined them - this became a running gag throughout the stream.

Next, we have an original character of mine, Rumi. She’s a big girl (around 8 1/2 feet tall) with a bubbly personality. Link to the stream at the bottom if you want to hear some backstory.

Finally, another mashup. Trogdor, Temmie, and an anime unicorn girl, having a tea party. I had a great time doing this one, and I want to keep on streaming. Not sure when the next one will be, but link to our Twitch channel below if you want to check it out:

A while back, I streamed myself drawing on Twitch, and had a grand old time! I’ll be uploading drawings here as I do streams, so check back occasionally!

First, Banjo-Kazooie! This was pretty fun, and outside of my usual range! I need to do some more fanart in the future.

My prompts were “cute anime girl” and “loch ness monster” so I combined them in the only way I could think of given the time restraints. I regret nothing.

Having never drawn any Fairy Tail characters, I think it turned out OK. Pretty basic stuff, I suppose.

So I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year

The first thing I wrote was this little blurb about motivating yourself when you feel like you're not good enough, something I struggle with pretty often. I thought it might help some people so here it is:

"Don't get upset at yourself if you aren't as successful as someone else. Make something interesting and fun to you, the rest will follow. It doesn't have to be a tightly crafted masterpiece or a work of genius. It doesn't even have to be good. But it needs to be done, and you're the only one who can do it.

Don't get discouraged when you read or play or watch something, thinking "I could never make something that good." Instead, think about how you can learn from it to make your own projects better.

Nobody else wants to write your story. But you do, and you can, and you must."
