I live in gaza đľđ¸
I really need help đ˘
There was a source of income that we used to eat and drink thanks to this work, we were living a decent life that we had dreams, butâŚ
It was completely destroyed by the occupation forces, and now we have to start from scratch, But where do we get that from?! ; What do we do!!! We do not have the money to establish a new factory or at least open a simple project to continue our lives, to eat and drink, and there is something more difficult than that. I have two brother who are studying medicine in Egypt. They have only completed one year and have a long way to go. Don't they have the right to achieve what they dream of? We are about to lose hope. It has become very difficult. Where can we pay for their university to complete this dream ! đŁđ
I say that and with deep regret, we have been destroyed đ
But we decided to overcome the challenge and prosperity; we decided to be one of the hands that contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza, please donate in order to rebuild our factory to complete our lives and to live a decent life with my family and I as before
If you think we deserve help, contribute for my family đđź
Even $5 will make a big difference and save us!
Thank you in advance whether you contributed or not đ

Chapter 3: Threads and Memories
Niffty is making a puppet show!
This time she wants to make it with actual puppets, so Alastor volunteers to make them with her.
3. Don't you hate it when the princess calls you Niffty's dad?
Here is a snippet>>>
As the last notes of her makeshift orchestra faded, Niffty took a bow. The applause was polite but distant. She glanced at Alastor, who sat in the corner, his crimson eyes half-closed. As others left the room she came closer to him. His crimson eyes bore into Nifftyâs, curiosity etched on his face. âWhatâs on your mind, my dear?â
Niffty fidgeted with her sketchbook, her mind racing. âDo they hate my shows?â she blurted out, her voice small.
Alastor chuckled, his smile enigmatic. âNiffty, they wouldnât watch them if they hated them. Your roaches have their peculiar charm.â
But Niffty wasnât satisfied. âMaybe I should try something new,â she mused aloud. âWhat if I made actual puppets? New characters, fresh stories!â
Alastor leaned back. âThat could be refreshing,â he conceded. âAnd you know how to sew, donât you? You made that beautiful dress!â
Nifftyâs eye widened. âYes, clothes! Mostly with a machine. But dolls? Theyâre different. How do I even start?â
Alastor hummed and clapped his hands âFirst, weâll need fabric. Something sturdy but soft. And a patternââ âI can draw the pattern! Look!â She flipped her sketchbook to reveal a rough outline of a doll, its limbs elongated, its head oversized.
Alastor examined her drawing. âNot bad. Now, letâs cut the fabric.â He demonstrated, the scissors gliding smoothly through the material. âRemember, precision matters.â
Niffty mimicked his movements, her tongue poking out in concentration. âPrecision,â she repeated.
His fingers traced the delicate fabric, guiding Niffty through the art of doll-making. He spoke of seams and stitches, of shaping limbs and faces. Niffty listened, her enthusiasm growing with each whispered instruction.
âNext,â Alastor said, âwe stitch the body. A simple running stitch along the edges.â
Niffty threaded the needle, her fingers deftly pulling the thread through the fabric. âLike this?â
...
"Exactly like that sweetie."
Memories of his mother surfacedâthe way sheâd sit by the window, sunlight streaming through her hair as she sewed. Sheâd taught him patiently, her voice soft and encouraging.
His father had scoffed, calling it "women's work." Yet, his mother had persisted, her needle weaving magic into every stitch. She had even shared her secretâthe voodoo dolls. They were not the dark magic of horror stories but a beautiful connection to the universe.
"Every stitch holds power. Healing and protection," her voice echoed in his mind. Alastor's fingers betrayed him.
He pushed the needle through the fabric, wincing as it pricked his finger. Blood welled up, staining the cloth. âOuch,â he muttered.
Niffty glanced at him. âAre you okay?â
He chuckled, wiping the blood away. âFine. Just a little mishap.â

Chapter 4 (bonus): The aftermath of Nifftyâs last puppet show! Emotions be damned.
An attempt to write from Nifftyâs POV.Later Rosieâs POV. Features confused and angry Niffty, Husk trying to comfort unsuccessfully, and drunk Alastor.

From now on thatâs the only way Iâll ever see the Machine Herald
the first time I ever drew viktor was because of AUGMENTED TEETH

(I was going for more of a lol viktor, hence the lack of freckles etc)
The idea is that he gets a bunch of his teeth punched out and just augments them all because augmented teeth are better
I like it since it makes him even more unsettling and eery but I feel like it could just look like he's got grills on or like his teeth are rotten
Anyway here's a bonus 'viktor sneaking up behind you' doodle I made alongside the first picture:

Never had a single Starbucks coffee in my life! Let's see what all the fuss is about! (From home of course)
So, as you know, or don't, an employee got fired from Starbucks and they posted all the recipes online =)

Navigating Friendship and Faith: My Recent Experience
Recently, I found myself in a bit of a dilemma involving a close friend and her evangelical church. It all started when she invited me to a wedding celebration at her church. During the event, the preacher mentioned that they had recently discussed turning people to God. At first, I joked about it with my friend, but soon I realized it might not be a joke after all.
She recently invited me to a Christian camp, and I didnât know how to respond. Initially, I agreed to go, but then I lied, saying my parents wouldnât pay for it (it costs 70 euros for two days). She was disappointed but later told me that the leader would allow me to come for free or at a very low cost. Now, I feel like Iâve dug myself into a hole.
This situation has been emotionally challenging for me. On one hand, I deeply value my friendship with her. Sheâs an amazing person, and we share so many interests and experiences. Losing her friendship over this would be heartbreaking. On the other hand, I feel uncomfortable with the pressure to participate in religious activities that donât align with my beliefs.
To give you some context, I am an atheist. My family background is culturally Catholic and Orthodox, and we only observe religious holidays in a cultural sense. My parents, coming from different denominations, decided not to raise my siblings and me religiously to avoid arguments about our Christian upbringing. This has shaped my perspective and beliefs, making me hesitant to engage in religious activities.
I find myself torn between wanting to be honest with her and fearing that honesty might hurt our friendship. Itâs a delicate balance, and Iâm struggling to find the right words to express my feelings without causing offense or misunderstanding.
The thought of losing a friend over something like this is really upsetting. I keep questioning whether Iâm overthinking the situation or if my concerns are valid. Itâs been weighing heavily on my mind, and I wanted to share my experience here in hopes of finding some clarity.
Have any of you faced a similar situation? How did you handle it? Iâd love to hear your thoughts and advice.
