Both detective and his worst enemy....once against each other in a life\death battle. Only one could be the winner of this battle and they knew so very well.

Even if Basil tried to escape it seemed Ratigan wasn't willing to let that happen this time. The second time his hand moved and gave Basil a harsh scratch with his sharp claws made it looked like he...

"I've won!" A wide grin took its place over Ratigan's face as he began to laugh maniacally, thinking his nemesis was finally gone for good.

"On the contrary!" Basil shouted a thing that made Ratigan glance down to see the detective had caught himself on what was left of his enemy's destroyed airship. "The game is not over yet!" The detective pointed out before he revealed the little bell that belonged to the rat himself. Ringing it right before Big Ben strikes, the loud noise caused Ratigan to lose his balance and fall to his doom...or at least everyone thought so.

*Time Skip*

You looked around in a try to remember if the last turn you took was the right one. Being away from London for years might affect your memory of where exactly your old apartment was and the storm didn't help at all. "Oh, great. Now I must hurry up" You said mostly to yourself while grabbing the edges of your socked wet coat to keep your body as dry as possible.

While running, your eyes caught the sight of a rather large body figure, lying unconscious in the middle of the street you were about to pass. With hesitation, you let out a sight and began to approach the person.

Now able to face him completely. 'Oh my, it's a rat' You thought. 'What on earth happened to him?' You thought once more not even realized you were standing right before him.

You gasped once you saw the wounds all over his body, quickly you looked around once more to make sure no one was passing by. You knew better he must wake up...cause if he won't...

Thinking fast you managed to open your bag and take out your cloth...thanks to the rain it got wet rather quickly. You managed to lift his head a bit from the ground and place the cloth against the back of his head and held it there firmly with your free hand.

'Ah...who's voice is that?' Even unconscious Ratigan's ears could pick up the hearing of your sweet voice calling out for him to wake up over and over in a worried tone. 'Mother, is that you?' He asked inside his head before his eyelids cracked open slowly, only to see bright light surrounding the shadow of an unknown female figure.

It was at this moment the rat's eyes opened wide, now full awaken. At first, he stared over you in confusion. However once he realized how close you were, the pain began to rise through his body because of the multiple wounds he got from such a high fall.

He groaned roughly and stood up abruptly, knocking you down as his large body slowly stood up straight. Panting heavily with gritted teeth while it seemed he was ready to attack. His eyes stared right into yours and it was then his wild expression turned to a more serious-calm one. "Who...are you?" His voice heard as if he was lost in his own thoughts with a bit of roughness too.

You got up from the rocked ground and stood in a brave position, now looking up to him. "I won't tell you my name, unless if you reveal yours first"

Ratigan scanned you from the bottom of your well-shaped legs to the top of the cute parts of wet hairs that were falling lightly against your forehead. An amused grin appeared across his face while looking down at you with half-lidden eyes. "But of course, how RUDE of my part. My name is...Padraic" He tried to hold back, not to spill how proud he feels about his full name to her....at least no just yet.

Your beautiful eyes blinked a few times as you saw Padraic offering his hand to you. "Oh, nice to meet you, P-Padraic, I am Y\N..." You said and placed your smalled hand over the palm of his big yet slender one.

Ratigan gently held your hand as he brushes his lips across your knuckles and plants a soft kiss, "The pleasure is mine. I apologize if I frightened you" His charming grin dropped a bit once your hand was removed out of his hold.

"You better put this back over your head injury, it will help to reveal the pain and also stop the specific area from bleeding eventually" You explained calmly after recollecting the cloth from the ground and held it out for him to take.An amused chuckle escaped from the rough rat despise the great pain he was feeling, he couldn't help but look down at you with an expression that almost shows sympathy towards your strange behavior to help a stranger. 'Tell me, are you a doctor my dear?" He questioned and placed the cloth back over his wounded head, hissing a bit to the sudden pain.

You shooked your head with a small smile. "No, I used to be a reporter though. That's why I came back to London, to make a new start"

"Ah~, giving a second chance to your mother city I see" His voice sound so rich and smooth to your ears that made you let a shy smile make its way over your pretty face and roll your eyes away from him.

"Anyhow, I am afraid I must continue on my way now. But before I go I must ask if you're capable of finding a place to stay for the night. I don't wish to hear rude but with all these wounds and the storm it'll surely be difficult even for you to find your way around the streets"

Ratigan couldn't help but laugh in a low tone before he kneed down on your heigh level and ruffed his hand over the top of your head softly. 'You're a strange one, you know that dear Y\N?" He cooed with a playful giggle and stood up with a  rough groan.

"I was never afraid of the difference if that's what makes you wonder why I cared to help you" You fixed up your messy hair and your coat and turned on your heel to leave. "Wish you luck Padraic" You glanced over your shoulder to his sight and began to walk away.

'I was never afraid of the different' These words of yours were running through his mind while his yellow eyes watched you slowly disappearing from his view. He let out sight and sneakily followed after you, he didn't know why but he had to see where your place is.

*Time Skip*

It didn't take much time to finally spot your old apartment. It might be all dusty and abandoned but it was better than nothing...to spend the night at least. The rain got heavier in the meantime and that made you want to rush in before your whole body would get wetter. Unfortunately for you, a stray cat was lurking there and it was too late before the feline's sharp green eyes caught your small figure. So you did what every mouse's instinct would tell them to do, you ran for your life and before you knew it you shout in pain as the cat's claws had given your back a deep scratch. You just stayed there laying against the ground and watched with wide eyes for your end to come. But then...

Even from the far distance, Ratigan could see what just happened and before he realized it, rage-filled through his veins as he rushed into the scene and stood right in front of you rather protectively with a wild expression across his face.

You lied there and watched with wide eyes as rat and cat had put themselves into a massive battle. Ratigan's grunts and shouting echoed with every scratch he gave...and took.

Eventually, the cat seemed to give up once they realized their possible 'meal' was lost, due to the multiple wounds Ratigan generously gave them. With an angry last hiss, the feline ran away leaving the rat barely able to stand on his feet while he was inhaling deeply.

His attention however took the sound of your whining that made him turn around to see you trying to stand on your feet. Your body was trembling from the pain and how much cold you were feeling.

You glanced up to him once you felt him holding your arm and his free hand supporting your back right below the area over where your injury was placed. "Thank you for...saving me" You managed to say weakly.

"Don't mention it dear" He responded in a rather serious tone before he gently helped you up.

'If you don't mind me ask, why did you save me?" You asked in curiosity but hissed in pain while the trails of blood were running against the fur-skin of your back.

A mischievous chuckle escaped from him once again. "An eye for an eye....that's the reason dearie~"

You just nodded in agreement and moved your free hand to open your bag over your waist and took out a small piece of paper and a pen. "Just give me one moment...here" You handed him the sketch that seems like a map. "Consider this as a 'thank you' for saving me from the cat" You sighted deeply and carefully got off from his hold and turn on your heel to leave.

"No, wait!" His hand grabbed your shoulder gently to stop you from moving any further, "Where will you go? You can't walk through the streets in such a state"

"A dear friend of mine who lives not very far will be more than happy to help me out...so you don't have to worry about me Padraic. Use the locations I gave you wisely, there are two abandoned buildings that no mouse has set foot for years so...make your choice carefully" You pushed his hand away and glanced over your shoulder as you began to walk once again.

'Could it be possible she might know who I am?' Ratigan wondered but shooked these thoughts and disappeared through the shadows of the night.

                                   HIS OWN LITTLE DEVIL

"Off" You protested before you let out a deep sight. Your hand supported the back of your waist.

Soon you felt a comforting hand resting upon your shoulder. You looked to your left side to see your friend Finny smiling warmly at you. "Are you okay Y\N-chan? Today we worked really hard but thanks to you, I got praised by Sebastian...for the first time! You sure are my hero!" The gardener congratulated you in a joyful tone.

You smiled back and placed your hand upon his. "Yeah, I am okay Finny thanks. But to tell you the truth I can't wait to go back home and get some rest. My back and legs are killing me"

"Oh, right! Sorry didn't mean to hold you any longer....just-just make sure you eat something before you go to bed, okay? I'll see you tomorrow, goodnight Y\N-chan!" You watched as your friend walked away. Didn't notice the pink color on his cheeks thought, not Sebastian either who watched the whole scene inside from one of the mansion's many windows.

Just the way the gardener touched your shoulder made Sebastian feel a bit annoyed. Demons can be very possessive when it comes to their mates, especially the marked ones.

But Sebastian knew better than to not show any sights of jealousy in front of you or to others. That would hurt his pride and he certainly didn't want that. All he has to do is to focus on his main goal and priority, and this is to make you feel happy and completely satisfied at all times, to let you know that no one in this world can do this in absolute perfection but him.

With your bag on your arm, you turned on your heel and glanced over the big front gate some meters away from where you stood. You had to wait for Sebastian to join you and walk you back home like every night you'd be off your duties as the newest employee Ciel hired for the gardens' care. But that's another story to tell in the future.

Your foot tapped against the rocked ground, it was kind of unusual for your demon to make you wait for that much. After some more minutes passed you decided you could take the chance and get off by yourself after all it was a lovely and hopefully peaceful night.

But as you were about to make one step ahead, a slender yet strong pair of arms wrapped around your waist. "Why...where you think you're going my kitten?" He whispered smoothly to your ear, Before you even had the chance to give an answer Sebastian simply scooped you off the ground, holding you in bridal style and your bag somewhat was now hanging on his back.

"Uhh...can you please put me down Sebastian, you know well I can walk by myself"

"My love, you must be exhaustive. And as your lover and therefore I must make sure you get the necessary amount of rest and relaxation after such a long day" The devil spoke softly while making his way back into the mansion.

Your head rested against his chest, you wanted to protest and tell him you weren't that tired...but that would be a lie.

"First of all, I'll give you a bath. We must clean you up and put you in fresh night clothes" He gave your forehead a sweet kiss before he entered a bathroom.

Before you knew it, your clothes had been removed, and let out a sigh full of relief once the warmth of steaming water with soap bubbles embraced your naked body.  You felt his hands guiding your head back in a gentle manner until it was resting comfortably against a small shink to wash your hair more easily. 

"Relax now, I will take care of you...like always" Sebastian whispered softly, his long slender fingers rubbing every inch of your head in small cycles was more than enough to make you feel kind of sleepy. 

Halft-lidden eyes were staring down at you in a loving manner. His body lowed to leave a sweet kiss upon your cheek.

"Please don't do this now, you know it makes me feel sleepy" You murmured under your breath causing the demon to let out an amused chuckle. 

"You're right my dearest, we should leave these activities for your bedtime. Ahh, but sometimes I simply can't resist. You look too much adorable after all. So cute and defenseless to my touch, just like the little kitten you are~" He spoke with a hint of mocking in the tone of his voice.

 You tensed a bit when his hands made contact with your shoulders, arms and some more private areas but relaxed afterward since you got used to it for so long.

"My my, you're awfully tense today" Sebastian let out a sigh. "I am not surprised though, you worked very hard. Honestly, I couldn't be any more proud of you, with those idiots causing me so much trouble every single day....you're a miracle, a blessing that came in my very long existence and I will never ever let you go" Another kiss was placed to your forehead before you were scooped up once again in Sebastian's arms. 

With your body and hair already wrapped in fresh white fluffy towels.

 He dried and treated your hair, then he helped you dress up for the night in a pair of pretty cute night clothes with cat sketches, and then, In a matter of seconds, Sebastian made his way into his chamber and kicked the door closed with his foot, You watched in awe while looking around the room.

 He redecorated his new room just in case you'd have to spend the night with him. “So that's why it took you so long to join me in the garden lately"

"Yes, I had to do some changes in order to make you feel more comfortable. It's the first night you stay to my place, it was the least I could do otherwise...."

"What kind of lover would I be?" Your voices said together only that you were teasing him and let out a giggle. Sebastian's smirk grew to your playful mimicking and walked over to his bed where he tucked you under the warm soft matters. 

"Now stay here, my little devil, I'll be back in a moment" He gave your lips a peck and made his way towards the door.

"Little devil?" You questioned in slight confusion. He never has called you like this before.

He glanced over his shoulder to your laying figure. "I believe this new nickname will suit you quite well compare to your personality" Sebastian explained and chuckled softly before he left the room and closed the door. Sudden silence filled the room and just then you realized that it was raining outside.

 So that's why Sebastian wanted you to stay with him today....or you thought so.

Just then the door cracked open and your Sebastian came in while pushing a wheeled table with a bunch of covered plates on it. "Tonight's menu we have Italian soup accompanied with stuff vegetables and greek salad. And for desert a mix of vanilla and chocolate sponge cake" Your gaze stared at the food as Sebastian took the bowl of soup into his hand and brought a spoon close to your lips. "Come on kitten, say ahh..." 

You hesitated but once you stared to his eyes you just couldn't say no to him. "Is it good?" He saw you just nodding, too busy to actually talk to him when your mouth was so busy eating the one delisious spoon after the other. A genuine smile crossed the demon's lips continued feeding you from each plate and leaving the desert for the last part. 

Once your stomach was finally full Sebastian pulled you in an embrace and patted your back gently, causing you to let out a cute little burp and him an amused laugh. He left the wheeled table with leftovers aside. With one knee, on the bed, he pulled off his tail coat, vest, tie, gloves, and shoes. "Time for some affection and then it's bedtime, alright darling?" Your demon climbed on the bed with his body hovering upon yours. 

His arms snaked under the back of your head like an extra pillow....your favorite pillow to be exact that he was so willing and happy to provide you with. The light of the candles around the room made your and his eyes shine brighter or maybe it was the strong bond and love you share together. You closed your eyes and smiled in bliss while his hand was caressing your face. 

You smiled, even more, when he started leaving his popular smooches all over your face and neck. You both chuckled and embraced each other impossibly close, even closer than before (if that was possible).

By the morning your eyes cracked open and saw Sebastian smiling down at you as his fingers traced over your cheek. "Good morning, my little devil"

His kitten: Sweet morning

By the morning your demon did as he promised and got you back home safely. He carried your sleeping form in his arms, your face buried in his shoulder while he was resting the side of his cheek against the top of your head. Sebastian smiled to himself while enjoying the warmth of your body against his. A pleasant feeling only you could give him and no one else. He sneaked inside your house pretty easily and once he found himself in your bedroom he made his way over to where your bed was, ignoring your dog completely whose stare was following the demon as he tucked you under the soft matters.

"Hmm, as I expected, our pact is complete" He leaned down to give the silver seal on your neck a castle kiss.

His smile grew even more when your symbol brightened up for a brief moment. Slender fingers traced smoothly upon your symbol as he spoke. "What have I done to deserve such a sweet creature" He monologued silently. He gave your lips a sweet kiss but the irresistible taste of his mate was extremely tempting which led to a passionate yet loving makeout on his part.

You felt pleasureful goosebumps through your body as your eyes slowly opened." Mmm...!" You only managed to huff while Sébastian's tongue was dancing playfully along with yours.

You were about to let yourself melt into the sinful activities but it was then when he slowly pulled away and chuckled at your blushing expression that was asking for more. "Good morning my love~" He purred softly as his nose rubbed against yours gently.

"Where are we?" You asked fully awoken.

"Why, I brought you back to your home just as you asked me the previous night. Should I feel concerned if you keep forgetting things so simple as this? " His giggles sounded more like he was mocking you but the truth is that he's just teasing you.

You frowned at his words and tried to get off the bed however the moment your naked feet were about to contact with the cold floor you felt Sébastian's gloved hand that gave you a firm yet quick push. Forcing your body to fall back against the soft, warm matters. "Hey what the hell are you-" Your protests were quickly cut off as the demon suddenly sat on your top with his legs trapping you underneath his tall figure. You watched with dark blushing cheeks as he already had taken off his tailcoat.

"My my, don't tell me my sweet darling kitten started to deny my affections once again. Oh well, that gives me no choice but...to punish you~" Sébastian spoke joyfully and was so excited. His white-gloved hand took you by your wrists easily and pinned them down together right above your head, making sure not to hurt you even in the slightest. His eyes were closed and his lips curled up into an amused smirk, ignoring your body's struggles to get free from his grip.

"Of course, it's going to be a sweet little punishment that will help you relax and allow me to give you some pleasure...like usual. You poor dear, so exhausted since the moment I marked you. Some kisses down to your stomach are just what you need" His face leans down and stops over your stomach area. Buttons of your shirt were undone one by one in a teasing manner, he stood straight for a bit only to admire the beautiful view right in front of him and also to take the glove off his free hand with his teeth. The hard blush across the demon's cheeks was now visible. His hand caressed your exposed skin with cycle movements.

A moan escaped from your lips, that made Sébastian chuckle to himself. "Not yet, my dear, we are just warming up" He looked at you one more time before his lips began to trail tender smoochies all over your belly.

Your body tensed after each sweet kiss your skin received from your lover. You hate to admit it but it feels so good. "Ah, s-Sebastian...!"

Suddenly your wrists were free as his arms snaked under your waist to bring you closer to him and rested there while stroking your sides. "Such delicate skin like a kitten's paws, so soft to the touch. And your belly button is so small, pink, and perfect~" He purred in a dreamy tone. A pleasureful mix of sloppy-loving kisses and teasing licks to your belly button followed and made you moan louder. "Yes, that's it, say my name again. I love to hear it from no one but you darling" Sébastian said between his affectioned activities. "I still have 2 hours left until young master will have to wake up so there's plenty of time to... enjoy ourselves" He chuckled, knowing very well you were under his mercy, and leaned down once again for another kiss attack on your stomach but then...

Your belly began to make sounds. "Goodness, how foolish of me, I didn't even notice my precious one didn't have breakfast yet" He gave your belly the last smooch. "I will be back with your breakfast in a few minutes. Stay in bed and wait for me, won't you dear?" He caressed your cheek and got off the bed gracefully. You gave out a deep sigh and watched as he exited your room with the door slightly open.

✿ Fear not though, because you have three....well four nannies to watch over you. Sebastian doesn't trust Bard, finny, or May-rin with you at all. Fortunately, Tanaka is responsible enough and has earned the butler's trust about your well-being when he's not there.

✿ The first time Prince Soma and Agni saw you in your father's embrace was more than shocked to realize Sebastian was a dad. Soma asked lots of questions, especially about your mom but Agni stopped him at the right moment and reminded him that he should respect people's privacy.

✿ Sebastian knows what a mother figure Agni is to the young prince and since he's one of the butler's very few friends, he has no problem asking Agni to watch over you from time to time when he's out with Ciel. And was more than happy when you started liking the Indian butler a lot.

✿ His feline friends like you a lot and can sense you're small and defenseless, they are quite the company when you must stay in your and your father's shared room.

✿ Your dad also gifted you a black cat plushie he created especially for you.

And since then, it has become one of your favorite things you like to hold on to it most of the time.

 Long time no see (Part 1)

A deep sight escaped from you as a nostalgic feeling began to slowly fit in your heart. You were walking through the Gotham city once again, after a very long time. Your attention was distracted between the many buildings, the people who were passing by or even, the many stores that seemed gran new to your eyes.

Have been born in Gotham you had learned your way through the streets. Since the biggest part of the city has been explored by you from your early childhood years. And even now, you had reached the (your age), you could remember your way almost around every area just fine.

Never knew parents and been left with your dear grandmother to live with, once the only person who has been left from your family passed away, you decided it was finally the right time to make a long trip away from your born place. You had succeeded, you were satisfied with yourself since you managed to make this dream come true.

And now alone yet pretty excited, you made your return in order to make a new start. You didn't felt all alone though, one more reason for your return was the hope to see a truly dear person you had met once there to the most random timing. And had the luck to meet his son too who caught your interest since then.

Maybe you could see him again as well, however, the loud music that hit into your ears finally made you snap from your thoughts and glance up to the big lighting sigh that looked like the sketch of an ice mountain and a cute umbrella to the right side. You cloud also see the club's name 'The Iceberg Lounge'.

"Hmm..." You hummed to yourself in curiosity and a sly smile barely appeared to the corners of your lips as you noticed the guard who was standing before the big double door wasn't paying the necessary attention and skillfully you sneaked in with no problem.

With playful yet smooth movements of your feet, you moved between the people who were drinking, dancing, or simply talking with each other as the colorful lights from the big disco ball were falling upon them. Just then, a quite familiar voice made your ears perked up a bit, and without a second thought, you passed between the people who were standing in your way, before you had asked them politely to move aside.

Tapping sounds of a cane could be heard against the sine floor of the dance stage. The man know as Oswald Cobblepot walked between the public while glancing around. His hand reached up to correct the monocle over his right-damaged blue eye.

After a 'business' talk he had with some of his fellows, a tired sight escaped from his pointy nose. All he wanted was to get back to his mansion. Some rest and a nice hot meal are exactly what he desperately needs after a long day.

However, those thoughts faded away once the person who crossed against him made the slight fat man almost lose his balance and make some clumsy back steps to avoid falling down. "Whaat the hell?!"

You couldn't see pretty clear and gasped when you suddenly bumped against someone's chest. Your expression turned into one full of shock and confusion once you glanced up to him.  "Oz....is that you?"

“...(N-Name)?” His voice came out almost in a whisper, lips slightly parted and eyes wide open from the shock and pure surprise Oswald felt when he scanned the person with his gaze and recognized who they actually were. Suddenly the loud music seemed to silent down and the people on the dance floor slowly disappearing as if none was there but only you and himself. No matter how many years had passed since then, he could still bring the moment of your first and only meeting so clear to his mind.
