I Think The Worst Part About The Meeting Today Wasn't That The School Kept Misgendering Me, But The Fact
I think the worst part about the meeting today wasn't that the school kept misgendering me, but the fact that my mom even slipped up twice before defaulting to "they".
Like, granted, my mom knew me as she/her until I was 16 and she/they until I was 23, whereas everyone else in the room has only known me with he/him pronouns, but like.... Come on... I've been fully out for about 4 1/2 years.... 🤦🏻‍♂️

It kinda bothers me when people are confronted for really negative and harmful behavior and their only response is, "well I have this disorder, so I'm the victim, everyone else I hurt is just ableist" and it's like....
You're not incapable of being responsible for your own actions just because you're neurodivergent.
There's no diagnosis that excuses being a horrible person to people who didn't do anything to you.
If you're old enough to gaslight people in media or online by going "I'm allowed to be mean/hurtful because I have this disorder", you're old enough to seek out help for your behaviors.
Some statistics show that up to 60% of people are neurodivergent or mentally ill in some way. Most of those people don't act like an asshole and then go, "oh it's not my fault because of this diagnosis." They take responsibility for their actions.
This is kinda directed at something vaguely political (I love election season!) but also just generally as someone who's kinda sick of hearing "it's not my fault, I'm bipolar!" When I also have bipolar disorder, or "it's not my fault, I'm autistic!" When I'm also autistic, or "it's not my fault, I have a traumagenic disorder!" When I also have a traumagenic disorder....
Idk being mentally ill doesn't excuse being a dick to people.
My parents keep trying to get me to visit Algeria to see my stepfather's property there and just to take a vacation, but I smoke medical marijuana to help my seizure disorder and I'm transgender and on HRT and both of those things are illegal there.
I really would like to be able to travel the world at some point, I just don't know what countries are safe for me to travel to where I would be able to have my medication available.
Obviously, I would kind of be limited to countries with legalized or decriminalized cannabis, but I'm also really worried about the idea of what countries have anti-trans laws that would really negatively affect me if I visited.
If anyone has any suggestions for countries that are trans friendly and cannabis friendly I would love to know.
Potato is good.
Potato is gift from God.
All hail the Almighty Potato.

why are some terfs so weird when it comes to trans men
"youre just some autistic girl thats been tainted by the patriarchy 🥺" how about you stop saying ableist shit and maybe work on your savior complex while youre at it
Okay rant time.
Pregnant men exist. Not just as an uwu mpreg fanfic trope or a joke. Just because you think pregnancy is gross or icky doesn’t mean you can’t treat pregnant people with respect, regardless of gender or sex. Even in the queer community, trans men who choose to carry their children are seen as an anomaly or as betraying everything they’ve worked for. They aren’t. If I carry a child, I’m still just as much of a man.
Also, I understand if the idea of pregnancy is dysphoric for many trans men. I do. But trans men being pregnant isn’t an excuse to exclude them from queer spaces or treat them with anything less than the same respect you would anyone else. Many trans men experience dysphoria regarding the idea of pregnancy, but many don’t. Their body isn’t your business. Don’t be fucking weird.
