Stranger Things 4 coming out later than we thought?

Disclaimer: I got this off the internet so I'm not 100% sure on this information, but it does make sense.

Announcment: It is said that Stranger Things 4 wont be coming out until about May 2022, this rumour isn't hard to believe as in a recent interview Gaten Matarazzon told the interviewer that there are strict rules to follow whilst filming as Covid 19 is still existant. He does confirm that they have gone back to filming and it could take longer as they don't know what the future holds for them as the covid restrictions are slowing down production and the world as this pandemic continues. However at least we know that Stranger Things 4 is still coming out. just a little later than we hoped.

And DEFINATELY NO HATE on Mike, hes a great character, but personally I think he can be a bit whiny and disrespectful at times.

Crazy ST 4 theory!!

So as we all know y'all are hanging on the season 4 of Stranger Things release, and this post will be 100% random and DEFINATELY NOT CONFIRMED, its just my fan theory.

So as we all know the 2nd Stranger Things teaser trailer was uploaded awhile now, and I was watching it and heres what I noticed.... (INCLUDES SEASONS 1 - 3 SPOILERS!!!!)

1) EW LOL HES STILL ALIVE?? In season 2 we see Dr Brenner being attacked by a demogorgon in the Hawkins lab, so after that point we all assume he was dead right? Alot of fan theories have said that Dr Brenner is STILL ALIVE! Which I think could be a possibility, but how can you escape death from a demogorgon? Part of me thinks hes dead and this teaser is in the past OR another part of me thinks hes still alive and has gathered other children. (I'll elaborate more on that later)

2) FATHER FIGURE In season 2 we see El having constant flashbacks to her past, in a flash back she has shes playing in a room with 8 (Kali) and they have their hair, and is dressed in different uniforms. So at some point after that Brenner started to feel the need that these kids need to know whos boss and he wants then to want him as a "protector", their only refuge. So he shaves their heads and makes them wear hospital gowns, a scene that confirms this is in season 1 while the guards are pulling El away from him she yells for him in this panicked and frightened voice, "PAPA!! PAPA PLEASE!" This just confirms how Brenner minipulated El into thinking that he was her only hope and refuge because she thought he "loved" her.

3) DOCTOR BRENNERS ALIVE Yes I do think that Dr Brenner is alive and for 2 reasons 1. Because he was in the teaser trailer duh and 2. Because if this man can minipulte children to see into a void with disgusting demogorgons I'm sure he can cheat death. And of he is alive I think he coud be gathering a sort of "Army" with the kids. Previous to the trailer we've never seen other kids with El while she was at the lab, all we see is El nobody else and she doesnt seem to remember any either other than Kali. Which leads me to my 4th point...

4) THERES A NEW 011 Before you say anything just bare with me here, in the trailer we see 11 - 12 children playing in the rainbow room, we see Brenner walk into the room and talking to the children after a moment we hear him say, "Eleven? Are you listening?". It then cuts to a shot with a kid opening their eyes.

Now this kid looks exactly like El in season 1, shaved head, brown eyes, skinny, has the same facial features. For some reason I dont believe this is the original El we've known and loved in the previous seasons, I beleive Brenner has found a replacement test subject for 011. Ofcourse the Duffer Brothers would've found an actor that looks like season 1 El, but i feel like this theory is more intruiging to the audience so we'll just have to wait to find out. Another thing that makes me beleive this is because as mentioned in point 3 I said that El doesnt remember any other test subject while she was at the lab other than Kali. This is why I think that Brenners still alive and is making an "army" with the kids to either turn on El or find her and bring her back to the lab. BUT HOW TF DID THIS B*TCH ESCAPE DEATH?!

5) TIME TRAVEL In season 3 theres could be MAJOR foreshadowing that we've probably over looked (I'm sure other people have noticed this cos come on)

Robin: "So the future is actually the present which is his time."

In this scene we see Robin explaining the whole time travel plot of the infamous film 'Back To The Future' to Steve. This could be foreshadowing that one of the test subjects (or El herself) could time travel. Now this is very far fetched but if you think about it, how did Dr Brenner cheat death by a demogorgon? And how is Hopper still alive? The only explaination would be time travel, though there are alot of ways this could unfold and I'm curious to see how the Duffers have done this.

There is still so much I could talk about season 4 I'm so so so so excited for season 4 and I'm sure all the fans are, I'm especially excited to see our new characters and excited to see how the Duffers have done this season so until the next theory post stay safe, stay positive and stay happy :))
