This beach has been my backyard for the past 5 years, and this area has been home to me my whole life. I have a love/hate relationship with the area as I鈥檓 sure everyone does with their homes. When it comes to the nature here, it鈥檚 a huge part of who I am.
The marshes, live oaks, islands, beaches, palmettos, and dunes are so special to me, and I hope moving away gives me the opportunity to appreciate them in a new way now. In a few minutes I鈥檓 about to leave this home and head to another. I love the mountains, but I am sure am going to miss my beach.
