I saw this video and thought uhm a modern au jacegon they are married, jace is a businessman and aegon is a composer. Jace is dedicating a lot of time to the company that he once inherited and aegon just wants his husband back.

Oh, I have so many thoughts on this…

Like I could imagine how a pair of sweet love birds went separate ways day by day, year by year, from talking about everything to having nothing to talk about.

For Jace duty is the death of love and for Aeg love is the death of duty. They chose different in life’s intersection and they finally became stranger in each other‘s eyes. Jace wondered where did his funny, caring, sweet lover gone and Aeg didn’t know his thoughtful, supportive, calling him my precious man gone where too.

their relationship is a little toxic, I think?! Aegon grew up hearing gossip from his mother's mouth about how Rhaenyra carried bastards in her belly and her husband a very rich and "extravagant" man didn't seem to mind unlike his gossipy neighbors. One day, twelve-year-old Aegon showed up at the playground near Jace's house and decided that it would be nice to keep calling the little boy "bastard" "lord lady strong".

wasn't cool, obviously, but Aegon found it very funny the way the boy made a frown as he ran after him to finally punch him.

Of course, when they grew up, Aegon didn't leave Jace alone. Always picking on the boy's way of life, making fun of his expensive clothes and high nose. Jace was deeply irritated by everything the other did, but the real cause of his irritation was knowing that deep down he liked the exclusive attention the blond gave to himself. Aegon is a piece of shit, but he has already saved Jace from two muggings, has beaten countless guys who tried to approach him and obviously threatened anyone who dared to question the last name the boy carried.

Aegon would be Jace's first. His first kiss. His first time. His first love. Aegon would always go looking for Jace, and if Aegon didn't go, Jace would, just like he had eight months ago when Aegon had decided to send the boy to hell for being so spoiled and not going to the rich neighborhood for more than a week. Jace had no qualms as he grabbed his coat and walked to the streets below, where the less fortunate stayed.

Of course, it was a bad idea as soon as the boy got there, because it didn't take even five minutes for a trio of men to corner him against the wall. Luckily Aegon showed up, rudely sending them all to hell.

Jace is exclusively Aegon's, everyone knows.

We all know canon Aegon is a rich trash but he definitely suits 100% the tramp vibe!!! With bad cigarettes and ragged clothes and cursewords you know???? in his own way he is attracted to princess Jacaerys.

Also I bet that their first time happened on the cushion in the lousy van (somehow ageon makes it romantic)

Jacaerys Velaryon was engaged to Aegon Targaryen ii but had an illicit affair with Sara Snow when he visited the North

Aegon and Jace had crush on each other from childhood. After Rhaenyra ascending to the throne and their marriage was consummated, they lived as if they were the happiest couple in town. Aegon was madly in love with Jace and very soon he gave him a beautiful silver-haired princess, Aemma. However, she neither looked like Jace nor she could very likely become their heir in future days. But Jace promise he’d love his first daughter no matter what.

And then Lucemond got married in the Sept (finally) and they started to breed like rabbits. Five years went passing and funny enough all their babies had brown hair and looked like Lucerys. Aemond was happy inside even though Aegon mocked at him saying ‘Karma for you despising and calling them Strong all those years’.

And Aemond mocked at Aegon back for not capable of bearing another child anymore due to his old drinking problem and libertine lifestyle. Aegon pretended he didn’t care but he did try so hard to change—he’s been quitting drinking a long time, going to church regularly and trying different herbal remedies which tasted like shit. He had been a brand new person. But the situation wasn’t getting any better. He couldn’t get pregnant and every time it finally happened, he just lost the baby in early months. Jace was always thoughtful and supportive as any perfect husband, telling him he couldn’t care less but Aegon started to think Aemma was merely a miracle and he was either barren or cursed.

And next time when Jacaerys returned from the North’s visit, he brought his bastard son Cregan Snow who was older than Aemma back to the capital.

Aegon was so mean to imply Luke’s kids may be bastards since Aemond used to treat him like shit but now he became the one who had to live under the same roof with an actual bastard boy, a living proof of his husband’s disloyalty. Aegon stopped laughing at anyone anymore.

Jace apologetically explained he didn’t want to leave little Cregan in Winterfall. His true firstborn deserved better education, training and comfy growing environment.

Aegon couldn’t complain cause he was not in the least a maiden when he married Jace and Jace also had this affair before he said those vows.

He figured it was Rhaenyra and Daemon’s idea all along. They thought he couldn’t have children anymore and they decided to develop the bastard boy.

He hated that the boy got Jace’s everything: his dark eyes, his curly hair, his cheekbones, and he got all northerner’s good attributes in him, determination and resolve. As a bastard, he got his prudence but also he possessed the kind of charm that makes people want to follow and die for him, just like a qualified heir to a future king.

Aegon fucking hated him and the north. He fucking hated himself as well. He hated Jacaerys when he found out it was him, not Rhaenyra and Daemon, that kept drugging him so he couldn’t have another baby of his own. That’s when he finally understood what it meant when Otto was executed and said “I died laughing because one day my bloodline would sit on the iron throne and his children and grandchildren would always have my blood” and Jace smiled cruelly saying “it wouldn’t ever happen, unfortunately”. He hated his beloved made him an idiotic fool all these years. He hated it was too late when he finally saw everything through.

Now all he wanted is to take Aemma far away in case they decide to marry her to the only living son of his husband to strengthen his claim or some noble lord in a castle. He never truly believed in Gods but now he started to pray, every single day.

What if Omega!Aegon was married to Beta!Helaena

one year later Aegon delivered silver-haired twins, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera. Everyone was happy especially Alicent who was so proud that her bloodline gave the “purest” Targaryen-looking kids, not like Rhaenyra’s.

Then there comes Maelor, a healthy strong boy with hair brown as autumn leaves, brown wide eyes as well. Aegon was tired, sweaty but thrilled, holding his baby like he’s made of glass. Helaena was thrilled. Viserys was content. Alicent looked like she’s having a faint.

She declared to the country she’s so happy as a grandmother that the baby got “her hair”. But inside the Keep she kept pressing ageon about who was real father.

Egg: i don’t understand the question. I thought you were happy about my little angel.

Alicent: you think I am an idiot? Who was it? Don’t tell me it was some tramp knight in the flea bottom.

Egg: whatever you say dear mom

Alicent: don’t be smug. You shamed our family as you always do. I won’t let that bastard of yours near the throne. He ain’t getting any title or lands when he comes of age.

Egg: could you please not call my son bastard? He’s my true born. As much as I’m yours.

Alicent: God I wish I hadn’t. Take the bastard boy out of my sight. 

Aegon holding the baby walking to the door when Alicent stopped him, “You need to name Jaehaerys your heir and announce his and Jaehaera’s engagement tomorrow. To enhance their claim and keep bloodline pure like what I arrange for you and your sister.”

Egg: You can’t be serious! They are still babies!

Alicent: The decision is made. You want to disobey your mother and Queen?

Egg: you want to know the real father? Fine i tell you. maelor’s father is the same tramp who fathered the twin. The three of them share the same “bastard” blood. I hope this satisfied you, YOUR GRACE.
