Why do you like Anthony Mackie 😐 did he apologize for all his misogyny and bad behavior on all the Marvel sets?

i hadn’t heard about any of this (thank you for informing me) so i went and checked it out, and here are my conclusions:

- regarding “bad behavior” on the marvel sets i couldn’t find any articles but please do link me up w that

- in regards to the sexism thing: As far as I can find he has made eye-roll worthy sexist jokes, which were super fucking cringy at the time and still are. but I don’t consider them something worth canceling someone over

-The only big controversies that I COULD find were about things he said/jokes he made about...black people? I’m not black tho so def NOT my place to say anything about them

- I don’t and never have consider myself an Anthony Mackie stan. I don’t “stan” any celebrity, politician or public figure, and I’m not going to be at any point in the future. But I do think what he says about racism in the industry is super important and his call for more diversity is absolutely justified

-I think his role as being one of the first marvel superheros to be a protag in a marvel show and not just the sidekick is super important and makes the show worth watching just for that
