@bobsrarepairweek DAY 2, i've been really excited to post this piece.

prompts were family and injury. in the show, we know nothing about sasha's family apart from his aunt caitlin and cousin dahlia. so when i wrote my sasha fic, i wrote his parents as neglectful, homophobic assholes. so, with those personalities i gave them, you can expect sasha's coming out to not go so well.

it is FINALLY day 1 of @bobsrarepairweek, so i finally get to post about the only rarepair i have (but still one of my all time favorite bobs burgers ships)

SASHA AND DUNCAN

if you know me you know they make me unwell lmao, so here's a piece i drew for today's prompt, fireflies. i like to think that it doesn't take a lot to fascinate or excite duncan, that it's easy for him to find the beauty in things, and he loves to talk to people about what he sees. sasha doesn't want to admit he maybe finds that cute.

Oldest: Truth or Dare

The inspiration: this is a Zekina fic. shipped them, wanted to try writing them, started the fic in september of 2022

Why it's still a WIP: tbh i wrote the third chapter over a year after i'd posted the second. i guess i just wasn't too in love with the fic or really had many ideas for it

Will you finish: 99% sure i will not

Why or why not: like i said, i'm not too in love with the fic. plus, i don't really ship tina with zeke anymore per say, or with anyone. i just don't wanna put any more effort into it

Second Oldest: Countdown

The inspiration: this fic is a Victorious fic LMAO. started it in december of 2022 when i rewatched the show and started shipping beck and andré

Why it's still a WIP: i wrote all the way up through the climax, and then just stopped because i didn't have any ideas on what to do next. then i fell out of the hyperfixation and forgot about the fic

Will you finish: unfortunately, probably not

Why or why not: like i said, i don't have any ideas for an ending. plus, idk when/if i'll get into the show again. it kinda sucks, because i remember really liking what i'd had written

Third Oldest: all we need to be free

The inspiration: the season 12 Bob's finale Some Like It Bot. the fic is an alternate ending to that ep, like what if tina had actually destroyed the touchscreen. apparently i started this in may of 2023, which is crazy because i feel like it's been in my docs for far longer

Why it's still a WIP: i was stuck on how to continue it. plus, there's a lot of research i have to do for later on in the fic which demotivates me slightly LMAO

Will you finish: i definitely want to!

Why or why not: it's def hard to finish a fic like this when you're not in the middle of hyperfixating on the show. and i'm still stuck on how to continue it. i really like what i have written so far though so i'd love to continue it someday..

Not too long ago, my good friend @gaywriterthings (they're amazing and definitely deserve all the love), drew me this art based on my Simpsons fic Fragments of Forever! This is the first time anyone has drawn me art for one of my fics, and it makes me so 🥺

i just think it really fits their whole storyline in Bob Actually. the two of them being friends for about four whole seasons, then louise realizing over the course of this episode she like-likes him leading to her deciding to kiss him at the end. i liked it so much i literally made an edit of them to this song a year ago LMFAO

honestly just realized i have actually never posted a single one of my pieces of Simpsons fanart here. and i gotta start doing that cus it's my current hyperfixation and i've got a LOTTTTT of fanart lol.

so where better to start than my favorite secondary character! i'm currently working on a fic series focused on bart that's set post-canon, and that means deciding on college majors for him, lisa, and milhouse. im still in the planning stage, so i hadn't given much thought to milhouse, until @golden--doodler CAME UP WITH THE MOST PERFECT FUTURE FOR HIM

and that's him becoming a therapist for children! he's had a therapist in the show that absolutely fucking hated him, and got mad at him for venting or asking for help when it was HER JOB to listen to him vent and give him the help he was asking for. him growing up to work with children and getting them the help they need that he was never able to get when he was a kid himself just seems so in-character, so perfect.

SO I HAD TO DRAW IT LMAO AND I WANT TO DO MORE. THANK YOU AGAIN GOLDEN!

just ignore the hell out of those pop ups. close them. theyre of no harm. it's just slightly annoying. itll happen every time you play an episode and i've gotten used to just ignoring them and exiting out of them by this point. leaving the tabs and then trying to play the episode again should definitely work, but as for them not playing, idk how to help you 😭 things are working perfectly fine on my end. so sorry fr

there's probably a better way to make comps than how i do it 😭 it takes forever because i watch the ENTIRE series (just to make sure i miss absolutely nothing lmfao) on a website that allows me to screen record since i cant on Disney. it's definitely easier if i'm making a secondary/minor-character-specific comp because i can just look up the episodes they're in and only watch those ones. BUT the specific website i used to make everything thats currently up on my channel hasn't been working well for everybody recently, so thanks to one of my friends i've got a FAR better website that i'll 100% use to make all my comps from now on!

it's called No Bullshit Bob's Burgers and it even allows you to search up episodes by name (with minimal pop ups)!!! as i find clips during my watch-thru, i sort them into albums in my camera roll by comp, and once i've finished rewatching the entire series and therefore have all my clips gathered, i edit the videos together in Splice. a free mobile app perfect for editing things like this!

it does take up a lot of my storage space lmfao but luckily it's never taken up all of it! and its totally worth it in the end because i am THE most dedicated bobs youtuber out there /j

That's right, me!!

I started this cover of Sincerely, Me from the musical Dear Evan Hansen a long time ago (years ago!!) with my old friend, Merlin. He played Connor and was fantastic!! However, the cover went unfinished for such a long time because I just couldn't find someone to be Jared. Lo and behold, I met Tina, and asked them if they could be Jared so this cover could finally be done!!

On my other account, I actually shared another version of this cover where a random person online filled in for Jared, but, uh, we don't talk about that version anymore, haha. This new version is definitely a lot better!! And also has Tina, so how could it not be great?

I couldn't help myself. I caved and made a Bart x Milhouse compilation! I must thank @numberonetinabelcherdefender for getting me to do it. This might be the only thing I post on my channel, but it's a good legacy to have, I think.
