Who else is sick of very particular bots randomly deciding to follow you? Because I always get so happy to see that "[name] has started following you" notification, and about half the time, it's one of those bots. It's always a buzzkill.

In addition to being annoyed, though, I'm confused. I'm just a tiny account that posts stuff about funny fictional turtles. What does the algorithm see that I don't?

Next-Level Brain Rot

I had a dream last night that there was some kind of upcoming crossover between ROTTMNT and FNAF, and that Funko was releasing promotional Mystery Minis for it. Details I remember:

The animatronics were from multiple games in the FNAF series, but the only one I can clearly recall is Classic Freddy.

The minis were done in a similar style to Funko Pops.

Donnie was the rarest of the turtles (1/72), followed by Mikey (1/36, and a Target exclusive for some reason). Raph was very common (1/6), as was Leo (1/9, which isn't a multiple of 1/6, but he's always been a bit extra).

You could get individual boxes or three-box bundles.

Little accessories (like clear purple goggles for Donnie or slices of pizza) were included in each of the bundles.

In my quest to get Donnie, I somehow wound up with all the other turtles.

I might have to draw some crossover artwork now.

Flat Friend Friday

Inspired by that weird dream I had over the weekend.

Also, this was my first time drawing Ballora in true animatronic form. I'm pretty proud of how she turned out. :)

So... Rise Raph turns 20 this year.

Raph: ...Wait, I'm not gonna be a teenager anymore! We can't call ourselves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anymore!!!

Leo: Hey, relax! Of course we can. The rest of us are still teenagers. We've got some time.

Donnie: 'Some time' being two years, Nardo. The rest of us aren't far behind at all...

Leo: It's still something, okay?!

Mikey: So what do we do? Start calling ourselves the Adult Ninja Mutant Turtles? Or maybe just Ninja Mutant Turtles... ...Ew. I don't like either of those...

Donnie: Well, since Raph's the first one to go, I think it should be up to him. Now-- Raph?

Raph: *curled up in the corner of the room, devastated* The neverending march of time has doomed us all...! I'm sorry, guys!!

Donnie: .....If this specific problem is what has doomed us all, I have some serious questions...

Mikey: No, Raph, it's okay...! *sits next to Raph and hugs him* Nothing's your fault! This was gonna happen whether we were ready or not. We just picked a dumb group name, that's all. And now we have a chance to think of something else. :)

Leo: Ooooor, we just stick with what we've got. I mean, the Backstreet Boys are ancient now, but they're still the Backstreet Boys. So I don't see why we can't still be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Donnie: Yeah, what they said. ...And...well...impermanence is exactly what makes life worth living. Being a teenager forever would get pretty boring after a while--at least, I think so.

Raph: *smiles* Thanks, guys. You...you really are the best brothers a guy could ask for.
