Exactly!!! I totally agree, Tim Goes Crazy was totally the moment in which he gets the title—and there’s literally no debate whatsoever that Jonny is a bastard—

Teatime With The Kaiser is in honesty probably my favorite verse, it’s the moment in which everything kinda leads up and literally explodes

No no no cause I was listening to “Gunpowder Tim vs. The Moon Kaiser” again and I noticed something

When Jonny talks about Tim in the song, all times except for ONCE he only refers to him as “Tim”, not “Gunpowder Tim” (again, save for that one time—which I’m gonna get to). And since Tim’s the hero of this song, you’d expect a heroic ballad to have the title of the person mentioned more than just once, and it is ONCE.

Not even in the end when Tim blows up the moon does he call him his “title”, he only says it once—and it’s at the beginning of that solemn section after the verse where Tim loses it.

It goes from Tim going ballistic to Jonny introducing him as “Gunpowder Tim” for the first time, talking about all the violent and insane things he did

I can’t place exactly why this makes me feel things but it does?? Like—I fucking love Tim for so many reasons, but this is one of my favorite songs cause there’s just so much for me to think about in it, and that part STICKS with me fr—

Elysian Fields

Elysian Fields

[ID: A digital painting for Ulysses Dies at Dawn. It focuses on the eye of Ulysses, a black person. Their eye is vivid blue, and instead of a pupil, a tree grows in lush grass that trails down their eye. The second image uses cooler tones, and the sclera is blue, while the third is warmer and has an orange sclera. End ID]
