Alastor is an early bird, always has been and always will be. He wakes with the dawn to prepare breakfast, enjoying the private quiet hours to himself.

Lucifer, newly arrived at the hotel, is a night owl with horrific insomnia who watches cheesy old movies when he can't sleep.

In the soft, liminal moments before sunrise, a friendship is formed.

For the day one prompt of radioapple week 2024: late night/early morning

My week is a mess, so I didn't think I'd get to do anything for radioapple week, but I managed a soft little something anyway. It's just some fluff, which feels weird after my series with all the blood drinking and all, but sometimes fluff is just what you need. I'm not feeling well and I felt indulgent.

I'm also maintaining: The bob isn't the problem.

The problem is the fucking shaved undercut. Within one in-universe week he decided that now is the time to get rid of the nice fade in the back of his head...

You'd think with all the women in his life, Alastor would have at least one of them tell him he should stop shaving the back of his neck....

Or maybe he does it out of SPITE now. "Oh Rosie, stop bothering me about it. Now I'm just going to keep doing it!" ->Pettiness level: Alastor.

Though maybe someone like Vaggie can now come in and make remarks like "Alastor, I didn't know you were into Angel hairstyling. Lute says hi, btw." - Maybe he can be persuaded after all.... 😂😂

It would have to be someone like Vaggie or Lucifer congratulating him on it, though. Reverse psychology is needed. Lots of it!
