Kim Namjoon x Plus Size Reader (PG-13)
âTake a picture. Itâll last longer.â
The man standing behind you on the bus jolted at your words.
Clearly he hadnât expected to be caught, but there was a mirror right above the windows and youâd been watching him take a thorough visual tour of your body for the last five minutes.
âUh wellââ he loosened the tie around his neck.
âYeah, bro, not cool.â
A random girl sitting near the doors had heard your remark and was already rising up in righteous indignation to defend your honor.
Uh-oh.
You had to slap a hand over your face to keep from laughing.
Kim Namjoonâs mouth dropped open.
âMiss I think you have the wrongââ
But the girlâbless herâwas not here for it.
âThis womanâs beauty is not there for you to just casually consumeââ
âI agreeâhonestlyââ
âSheâs got a mind of her own!â
He snorted.
âThatâs for sure.â
You were practically biting through your lip trying not to giggle at this point. Joon looked like a cornered rabbit.
âShe didnât ask for your attentionââ
âThatâs debatable.â
Your galant girl-knight looked ready to throw hands at that one.
It was high time you saved them both.
âMiss,â you chuckled, shaking your head. âI truly admire you and Iâm eternally grateful for you assistance butââ your eyes met Namjoonâs exasperated grin in the mirrorââthis man is my husband.â
âLaterâ
âI told you wearing that dress would get me in trouble.â
You laughed as your not-so-subtle admirer ran his hands appreciatively over your curves.
He was wild about you.
You shook your head and sighed in dramatic disappointment.
âObjectifying me in public. What a scoundrelâŠâ
Namjoon was never truly able to hide his adoration for your fuller figure and you loved to tease him about it.
âI swear I thought she was going to burn me down with the patriarchy.â
You started to laugh, but he was already sliding his hand up your leg so it turned into a little moan instead.
âItâs not my fault you canât control yourself. I was just an innocent bystander and you were so obviously undressing me in your head-ah!â
Namjoon smacked your thigh and let out a tortured groan as he watched it jiggle.
âBaby,â he murmured, gripping into your softness with just the right amount of pressure, âI was doinâ way more than that.â

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sitting in Mulates with a cup of coffee and your laptop, you sighed. Robert was supposed to have met up with you over an hour ago. It wasnât uncommon for him to vanish for hours upon hours at a time only to show up looking ruffled and frantic as he panted for breath clearly having ran from wherever he was. But this was pushing a new record, the waitress giving you a knowing look as you popped your back and cracked your neck.Â
âJust the bill please, thanks.â, you sighed once more as the waitress walked off for your bill.Â
The door slamming open made you jump as you turned to look at what the disturbance was, Renfield sprinting through the tables to reach your side with his usual messy hair. He gathered you into a tight hug as you huffed at him.
âYou almost made a new record for how late you are for dates, Renny.â
The nickname made him smile sheepishly as he met your annoyed gaze, your own softening at his genuine guilt. He nodded and pulled you to the door as you frantically dropped the cash onto the table you were sat at.
âI know, I know. I am sorry for making you wait, Y/N. I attended that meeting last minute.â
You hummed in thought and let him drag you to a drab and downright sketchy studio apartment building a little more than halfway across town. The sign blinked at you with its last letters as you stumbled up the stairs, Renfields smile growing as you neared an apartment on the corner of the floor. Birds chirped their goodbyes as you walked into the air conditioned space with yet another sigh, your clammy hand slipping from Roberts as you toured the small and obviously recently cleaned area. The bright orange, green and pink trimmed walls hurt your eyes before you got used to it, the motivational posters stuck all over the walls making you smile at Renfield as he gave you a vibrant one in return.
âRenny it looks great. I thought you were staying with your grandmother though? Will she be okay on her own?â
Robert nodded and wrapped his arms around your waist, his bright yellow and orange jacket falling like a blanket around you as he towered above your frame. A kiss landed on the top of your head as he chuckled.Â
âShe will be quite alright. I have made sure she is settled in and comfortable to be on her own while Iâm away.â
You nodded to him as you left his hold to wander the small space some more, your eyes roaming the posters and landing on a book that lay on the bedside-table.Â
âWhat in the- Renny! I thought you said you quit that job!â, you huffed at him in exasperation as he scratched the back of his neck.
âWell I was going to, but something came up and I didnât have the chance. Iâll quit soon, I promise. Itâs just complicated.âÂ
âI know Renny but you have more power now, that asshole boss of yours isnât here to stop you from sending in a letter of resignation.â
He shook his head as he shushed you, his arms wrapping around you again as he shook slightly against you. Your eyes closed as you relaxed in his hold, his breathing calming as yours did. Turning your head to admire his features, you smiled. He had this boyish charm about him with the aura of danger and desperation. It was so uniquely Renfield that you smiled brighter. He caught onto your smile as he looked down at you with a raised eyebrow, his finger booping your nose. Going cross-eyed involuntarily, you giggled at him.Â
âRenny why~! You know I go cross-eyed every time! Itâs not fun.â, you pouted up at the laughing man as he ruffled your hair.Â
He acknowledged your statement with confirmation that yeah he did know, but his eyes stayed trained on your pouted lips as you blinked at him innocently. Quickly leaning down to capture your lips in a kiss, you let out a gasp as he pulled you even closer.Â
Getting lost in the kiss, neither of you noticed the door opening slowly as a polished black shoe stepped through the frame dramatically. Â
âMarvelous attire, very colourful.â, a voice droned from the door as you parted from the kiss to catch a glimpse of a pale man in a sparkly suit before Renfield pushed you into the adjoining room frantically, his eyes panicked and holding desperation as he shut the door on you.Â
The voice carried through the door as you pressed your ear against it in an attempt to hear if Robert was alright, âYou look like the kind of boy who has to fight âem off!â
A wheeze laughed followed as Renfields hesitant laugh filtered through, making you tense against the door,Â
âSo I suppose thatâs a ânoâ for you bringing me my dinner tonight, hmmm?â
âA no? No.â, Roberts voice was clearly terrified of the idea behind saying no to whoever this sparkly pale dude was.Â
âNooo?â, it was drawn out sarcastically and almost mockingly.
âNo, not a no.â
âNo not mm?â, the man drawled as he took an audible sip of something.
âUhm...Yes. Big yes to dinner!â, you could hear the over-exaggerated enthusiasm behind Roberts voice as he struggled to please whoever that man was, âA feast. A full feast, Master. In fact, Iâm so glad youâre here...â
You could hear pacing and clinking as he busied himself with one thing or another as he stalled for an excuse.
âI was actually on my way to see you!â, the clinking got more frantic.
âOh you were on your waaaaay.â, the disappointment and judgement was clear in the drawl of the manâs voice.
âYes but I had uhm, too many bodies.â
âOh you-you have bodies hm?â, the mocking was at full force as Renfield stumbled through his sentences while your confusion grew rapidly.
âToo- too many!â, the clinking gained speed with his voice, âSo many bodies that I couldn't carry them all! You should have seen it.â
He paced over to the door, mouthing a silent apology as he opened it to glance at you briefly to busy himself anxiously. A disbelieving âMhmâ meeting your ears.
âYou see the problem is, my back has really been playing up! Anyway, the plan is to rent a U-Haul and that way Iâll be able to get all the bodies...â
His entire sentence was backed by even more sarcastic âMhmmââs as you peeked through a small crack in the door.Â
âYou know what? Itâs so silly but you donât have to worry, um, and I-I wonât bother you my- my problems.â, Renfield's shrug and self pitying laugh made you furrow your eyebrows as you watched.
âNo, no~â, the sparkly dressed man stood slowly as he spoke, âPlease, tell me all about your problems.â
The âpleaseâ was backed with a growl as Renfield stood with lowered shoulders, hoping to avoid whatever was coming his way as âproblemsâ was emphasised with hatred.
You burst from the room to stand next to Renfield as the pale man paused in his stride to eye you up and down as Robert pulled you close to hide you from view even as you peaked from around his arm to watch the man carefully.Â
âTell me all about the gun-wielding criminals who came after you for killing their men because you were protecting so-called innocent people.â
The way he spoke his last two words was bone chilling as his clawed hand extended towards your lover with an almost threatening flick as his hand rested on his hip behind his back.Â
âIâm-Iâm sorry.â, Renfield spoke softly and hesitantly, his arms pushing you back further as he shifted in place, âIâm sorry Master, I never meant to hurt you.â
âHurt me?â, the eyebrow raises the man gave were almost comical if not for the promise of pain written in his jagged smile and dead eyes as he let out a wheezed chuckle, âAre you actually suggesting that anything you could do would hurt...me?!âÂ
HIs voice raised as he threw the vase of flowers to the ground with a loud smash to match his raised voice as Renfield raised his hands to his hips in an attempt to non-verbally console the man as he stuttered through an apology.
âNo. No no no no no no, Master, Iâm sorry. I didnât mean... I didnât mean that.â
He was nearly cut off in his apology as he grabbed your hand for moral support while you watched the man comb his greasy hair back from his forehead with a disgusting smile.Â
âNo, no. Itâs alright- itâs alright. Itâs alright.â
âReally-?â
âNo, itâs, yeah.â, he finished combing his hair and held out a placating hand towards the two of you, âLet me explain something to you, okay?â
The âokayâ left an uneasy feeling in your stomach as he toned it like he was talking to a child. His hand pointing dramatically with each word,
âI was wrong about you. I shouldâve realized what you were capable of when you were so eager to join me.â
His menacing steps forward caused Renfield to step back with a worried expression, your feet matching his movements as you backed away slowly from the approaching man.Â
âI donât think I was eager,â, Robert looked down in contemplation with eyebrows furrowed further, âI think that you caught me at a low moment and you maybe manipulated me too.â
âNo, no no, no, no...â
The sparkly dressed pale man furrowed his own eyebrows in confusion as Renfield continued on his explanation before his denial clashed with Roberts sentences.Â
âAnd you just caught me at a low moment, and used some of your power...â
âNo, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! I use my power for a lot of things, but I didnât need to use it on you. You were a lawyer who wanted to get rich off a real-estate deal. Youâre the one who used me!âÂ
Renfield cowered slightly to the side to block you fully from the mans view as he continued his degrading.
âYou used my power because you were a husk! An empty void that nothing can fill. The only thing that gave your life meaning was my power! The power you used to bring me victims while you pretended to be one yourself!â
His voice raised to a shout as you glanced up at Renfields face, his eyes full of tears as he listened. Roberts eyes closed with a shaky nod as he swallowed harshly, his hand squeezing yours tightly as the pale man sighed loudly.
âHowever, I am the real victim here! I am the one you swore to protect! And you...â, his breathing grew rough and loud as he glanced at you with narrowed eyes, seething with anger. âAbandoned ME!â
The clenched fists of the man made you tremble and grasp at the back of Renfields jacket tighter as he shook his head again, his voice soft and full of tears.
âNo. Thatâs not true.â
The man leaned in with a mocking smirk, âJust like you abandoned your wife and your daughter.â
The smug look you caught on the mans face while he placed a clawed finger on his lips made you seethe. He was getting off on humiliating your lover and for what? Some kind of power trip he only got from Renfield? You tugged on Roberts jacket slightly as he looked down with more tears in his eyes.
âThatâs not... I didnât...I didnât abandon them.â, he whimpered slightly through his sentence, grip getting tighter on your hand.
âLook into your own eyes, Renfield. Youâre the monster, Renfield, not me.â
Robert shook his violently as he made eye contact fleetingly with the man, his sharp-topped finger pointing at him mockingly and almost proud,Â
âItâs you.â
âNo. No.â, Renfields hands shook as he let go of yours to point back at the man, âThatâs enough.â
Robert took slight steps around you, making sure you were still protected by his body even though the man's eyes scanned you up and down like he could see every memory you had. Renfield walked back to stand in front of you as the greasy haired man panted from his anger, his eyebrows furrowing in pure confusion as Robert held up the book in front of him. âHow To Defend Yourself Against A Narcissistâ held between the three of you in a defensive position.
âWhat?â, the pale man voiced his confusion over the book held in shaky hands as you grasped the back of Roberts jacket.Â
Renfield sighed and opened the book with shaking hands, the pages sticking together as he fought to open the book to a specific page, the other manâs confusion palpable as he leaned forward to see exactly what was happening.Â
âI will no longer tolerate abuse.â, Renfields shaky voice filled the confused silence as he stood straighter.Â
The man laughed hysterically, his back bending from the disbelief of what he heard and the strong laughter.
âStop laughing.â, Renfield mumbled grumpily as he flicked through to another page, âI deserve love.â
Roberts âMasterâ raised an eyebrow at the statement, his eyes flickering towards you and back to Renfield as though connecting something in his head.Â
âI deserve happiness.â Robert was sure in his statement, his tears clearly subsiding as he spoke stronger only to be shut down again.
âYou deserve only suffering!â
Renfield let out a shaky sigh as he flipped to a new page, taking slow steps back as you followed, âUhm, I know being undead, itâs a painful existence, it is, and I empathize with your pain.â
He gestured lightly with an expression one could only consider as empathy. The man gestures back as he continues approaching the two of you, his disdain extremely clear on his face and his words.
âOh please. Illuminate me. Let me learn from you. I will find everyone you have ever loved and I will drain them. I will reduce this...this...â
Renfield continued backing up with you, his body lowering in a cower, âS-Studio apartment?â
âStudio apartment until itâs ash!â
âUh, uh...â, Roberts back hit your chest with a light thud as you got cornered easily, your hand finding his biceps as the pale guy kept approaching while you both looked around in realization of your positioning, âAffirmations. Affirmations.âÂ
The man snarled down at you as you both shrunk closer to the ground in an effort to get away from the enclosed space and intimidating aura.Â
Renfields head snapped from the pages to look up at the man and back down again repeatedly, âUh, Iâm enough. Uhm, I deserve some happiness.â
His fingers trailed over the pages as he flipped them, âThere is some other stuff I have to say...â
The frantic boys page flipping was interrupted by the man as he ripped the book from his shaking hands with a snarl, âWho put these ideas in your head?â
Renfield cowered further into you as he flipped the book around in his clawed hands, eyes finding the stamp of the church on the back of it. A light growl left his mouth between pointed teeth as he snarled down at you both, his hand reaching behind Robert to pull you from behind him easily. A gasp left you as he held you against his chest, his claw pressing against your chest as he stared down Renfield.
âOf course.â, he chucked the book at Renfields head as he covered it with his hands in fear as he stared at the ground. âThe church.â
Renfield looked up in fear, meeting your terrified eyes as he shook in his spot, âLet her go, sheâs not a church goer. Sheâs atheist! Perhaps even a little spiritual! She practices witchcraft in her spare time if she feels like it!â
A growl left him as his claw lowered and pierced through your stomach, your eyes widening in pain as blood trickled from the wound. Robert sat up in fear, his eyes pleading with the man as his cold eyes watched Renfields every move.Â
âBring me my dinner by tomorrow or she wonât live to see it. Only I can awaken her now, act fast Renfield. You wanted to be the good guy so go ahead and play the good guy. You have until Midnight tomorrow or Iâll come back and finish her off.â
A gust of wind filled the apartment and you fell to the ground unconscious, your blood soaking into carpet as Renfield cradled your head carefully,
âIâll be the hero just for you, Y/N. No matter what it takes.â
~~~~~~~~
A/N: Iâm not very proud of the ending or the full thing in general, it was so much better in my head and a lot less repetitive and much more reader involved... kinda happy with it though. lemme know what you thought?Â
i don't know who needs to hear this, but 'perfect' writing is a trap. all writing is subjective. what we create today, we may see as flawed tomorrow. what we see as flawed today, we may see as perfect tomorrow.
writing is the act of transmuting the human experience through words. and the human experience? it's a messy, chaotic thing filled with rough edges and uneven lines and mistakes and failures. you can erase all of that. you can. but then you're left with something sterile and artificial. you've effectively squeezed the soul out of your work, and i can think of nothing less appealing.
this isn't to say don't edit your work. please do. but keep it within reason, and make sure you're moving forward and not backward. momentum is key.
don't sit on an idea for three decades waiting for that dance with inspiration, or that dynamite first line, or that eureka plot twist, or the words to flow like magic from your fingertips. because it won't happen. and if it does, it'll strike like lightning and disappear twice as fast. the only surefire way to finish a story is to start.
so write.
for the love of god, just write.
along the way, things will fall in line. i promise. and if they don't? then they already have. the magic of art is that everything we create is a snapshot of who we are at the time of creation. it's like a time capsule of human experience, and there's a beauty in that authenticity-- in the mistakes we make and the wrong turns we take. don't run from them. embrace them. grow from them.
let their lessons flow through you and channel them into something tangible. if it's hard, then start with one word and keep going. don't erase it. don't start over. don't let yourself believe your story isn't worth telling because if you don't tell it, then no one else will. and that'd be a damn shame.
so one word a day. one sentence a week.
whatever it takes.
it might be tough letting go of the idea of perfect. silencing your inner editor. your inner critic. it might be tough realizing that your story will never meet your standards, not completely, but it won't be half as tough as looking back and wondering where all the days, weeks, and years went; that in the pursuit of perfection, you forgot to ever write a story at all.
so forget about perfect. readers don't want it. why would they? they can't possibly relate to it because none of us can.
instead, give readers a window to your imagination, stormclouds and all. you'll be surprised by how many stick around for the rain, how many relish the sound of your thunder, and how many cherish the worlds that only you could bring to life.
Discoveries Pt. 3 â„
A/N: Yes yes its been a little while but I've been busy okay? and iâve been fired so emotional things. thank you all for the support so far and i hope this makes up for the wait.Â
Pt. 1Â Â Pt. 2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stretching in your bed the next morning, you let out a large yawn as you adjusted to fall asleep again. Turning over in bed, you werenât expecting the face of Fred to be right next you. You let out a startled scream as he laughed you, your eyes rolling as your shoulders shook with laughter.Â
âWhat are you doing, Fred? Itâs like 5am.â
â7am. You slept in missy~â
Groaning and flipping to face the other side of the room, your hair swung dramatically with you and into Georges face, who was crouched on the opposite side of your bed, expecting the trouble of waking you up. You screamed again and sat up with a huff, the twins high-fiving over your head.Â
âWill you two just let me sleep for another hour at least?â
âNo can do. You see-â, George started.
âWe need to be at Diagon Alley by 8:30.â, Fred finished.Â
You ran a hand through your knotted hair, partly in confusion and mostly in frustration. When it clicked in your head that you had to get some school robes adjusted, you panicked and half jumped, half fell out of bed. The twins backed your frantic movements with laughter as they walked down to the kitchen, the chatter of impatient and hungry Weasleys filled your ears.Â
âWhy do we have to wait for Y/N to eat?! Itâs her fault for sleeping too long!â, Rons muffled voice fell into your conscious and made you speed up your hair and teeth brushing.Â
Rushing down the stairs, you stumbled directly into Bill who caught you with a sigh.
âClumsy as always, Y/N.â
You let out an almost ashamed laugh, your arms squeezing around Bill as he wheezed. Arthur walked in behind the both of you and ushered you into your seats as Molly set down the plate of bacon.Â
âFinally!â, Ron muttered as he grabbed the plate of bacon seconds after it hit the table, his plate piling with food.
Food was passed around between the family, conversation filling the air as you ate silently. Your silent bubble was disrupted when Ron dragged you into an argument between himself and Percy.Â
âItâs not my fault you have a bloody stick up your ass!âÂ
âI am a prefect, Ronald, which is something that will actually get me into the Ministry!â
Ron shot you a look of âoh dear god not this againâ and you laughed.Â
âPercy, you do realize not being a prefect can get you into the Ministry. You just need good grades and the right classes.â
Percy snapped his glare to you, knowing you were right, and sighed. He had always had a sort of soft spot for you, knowing you werenât actually a Weasley. Which was a dumb reason to not hate someone but you went along with it so not absolutely every child in the house had an argument with him every other day.
âI suppose you arenât wrong, Y/N. I just have a better chance this way.â
He turned his nose up at you and you laughed, finishing off your plate just as the rest of the family had. The plates were cleared from the table as everyone dispersed to do their own thing.Â
âY/N dear, we must be going if we donât want to be late. Come now, to the fireplace.â
You brushed yourself off and followed Molly to the fireplace, your hand wrapping around another handful of soft powder. Your eyes glanced up to your mum as she nodded reassuringly. You still werenât used to it yet and you had a feeling it would take a little while to feel normal and not like you were being vacuum sealed into a plastic bin. With a sigh you threw down the powder and clearly stated âDiagon Alleyâ, and then you were gone in a swirl of green smoke.
Stumbling from the grate in The Three Broomsticks, you ran headfirst into a solid mass. Panicked, you looked around to make sure you were where you were supposed to be and slowly glanced at whoever you bumped into. Your wide eyes met narrowed ones surrounded by the same white blonde hair from the other day. You took a subconscious step back from the man just as Molly came through the floo, her hands finding your arms as she stumbled lightly into you.
âMr. Malfoy. If youâd excuse us.â, Her eyes narrowed back at the man as he looked between the two of you, âCome on, dear, off we go now.â
She led you away with gentle hands, your head turning to look back at the man as you swerved through tables. Your eyes met one last time before Molly was tugging you past the door with a firm but gentle hold on your hand. As you met the bustling roads of Diagon Alley, you squinted your eyes at the sun, a frown tugging down the corners of your mouth as you stared at the ground, trying to avoid any ray of sun you could. Leaping between shadows to the fitting, you panted as Molly gently pulled you to a stop in front of Madam Malkins. You sighed and Molly chuckled lightly, her hand taking yours and guiding you in.Â
âItâll only take a minute. Donât worry dear.â
~~~~~~~~~
âA minute my butt!â, you exclaimed as you stumbled out of the fireplace in the Burrow, Fred sweeping you off your feet immediately and up to your room where a trunk lay on your bed.
âWhat is this? Why is my trunk out? What did you do?â
You rounded on Fred and George as soon as you were placed onto the floor, their faces innocent as could be as they watched you with crossed arms and very small smirks of entertainment.Â
âYou need to pack for Hogwarts!â
âWe all have. Our trunks are-â
â-Waiting by the front door.â
âOnly two are missing~â
You sighed and stared into the empty space, your eyes tracing loose threads along the seam as you nodded.Â
âOkay, Iâll go bother Ronald after Iâm done.â
âThat's what we like to hear!â, the twins chorused as they walked from your room to raid the kitchen, if Mollys loud reprimanding was anything to go by.
The packing only took you a few minutes, most of your school things were in a separate drawer as it was so all you had to do was move them into the trunk. You finished your packing with relative ease and an overactive mind, the zipper closing breaking the silence you had been working in. WIth a sigh, you pulled your trunk to the top of the stairs before making your way to ROnalds room to aid him in his no-doubt messy packing. Your suspicions were confirmed when you pushed open the door to encounter the entirety of Rons wardrobe scattered around the room.Â
âRon, how? There is no way you had to destroy your room to pack.â
HIs frantic eyes met yours as he scoffed, âWell no, but it felt necessary at the time.â
You hummed and cleared a few spots across the room, handing things to Ron you knew he would want with him. His eyes followed you around when he wasn't haphazardly throwing things into his trunk.
âAt least fold things!â, you stomped over to his trunk and folded piece by piece as Ronald sat and watched you with a blank expression until you reached his Chudley Cannon jersey. Then he reacted and grabbed it from your hands with a gasp, his own carefully folding it in a mess. You shrugged and packed it neatly with the rest of his things, the heavier items resting on top of his clothes as the lighter things went on those.Â
âThere. All done.â, you heaved a sigh as you closed the lid of the trunk, the click of the lock creating a satisfying noise in the otherwise silent room.Â
âThank you, Y/N~â, Ron grabbed you for an overly tight hug, your hands pushing at his arms as you wheezed for a single breath of air that wasnât from Ronâs vicinity.
âOk ok ok! I get it, just get it downstairs with the rest of them!â
Ronald let you go after a moment, his frame moving out the door with his trunk in hand as you followed after him.
âYou made it sound like you brought yours down! But nooo look at whatâs right here!â, Ron huffed and lightly kicked your trunk as he passed it.
âI said the rest of them! Never included mine!â, you shouted after him as you grabbed your own trunk and carried it down the stairs to see Bill and Charlie in front of the floo.
Molly gave the two a big hug with large containers of sweets being shoved into their hands after Arthur gave them a hug as well, Percy nodding a farewell from the couch as he read through the Ministryâs handbook for rules and regulations.Â
âNooooo~!â, you whined, âYou canât leave yet! You like... just got here! We didnât get to talk about Hogwarts!â
The eldest Weasley boys chuckled and pulled you into their arms for a group hug, tears filling your eyes as they pet your hair lovingly.Â
âYou know we have jobs to get too, Y/N. We canât stay to see you off.â
You huffed at them and lightly punched their chests as they smiled at you. A small nod moved your hair into your eyes as you grasped them tighter. While you werenât as close to them as you were the twins, they had still helped raise you in a sense and that created a connection, plus you were their little sister. Blood or not, that created an even greater connection. Still not one large enough to rival that of yours with Fred and George but it was enough.
âFine. Just send owls, okay? I wanna tell you everything!â
The boys nodded and placed kisses on the top of your white hair, their eyes slightly glossy as yours overflowed with tears.
âWe will.â
âAbsolutely we will.â, Charlie finished as he guided you to Mollyâs embrace, Bill giving a last wave and goodbye to the family as he stepped through the floo with a call of his destination.Â
Charlie gave a similar exit with a blown kiss towards yourself and your mom as he called out for the Ministry of Magic for Romania, however he pronounced it. Their departure set the family in motion as Arthur ushered everyone into the kitchen to go over the basic checklist of the things you would need for your time at Hogwarts. Most of the list was checked off smoothly, Ron mumbling under his breath that it was unnecessary until your dad reached an item he had forgotten and cursed. That got him a small ass-whooping from Molly as she urged him to go get what he had been missing. Fred and George mocked him as he ran up the stairs, your quiet giggles backing them until your parents shushed you all and continued with the list as Ronald slipped down the stairs to his trunk and frantically packed his wand. The list went smoothly after that, everyone having followed the list to pack, well... you had. The trunks were smooshed in the back of the Ford Anglia with a small extension charm, a suspicious popping noise coming from one of the twins trunks, a huff of air and confetti falling into the trunk as they stood rubbing the backs of their necks sheepishly.Â
You were all set to head out for Hogwarts, all that was left was getting onto the platform and finding a seat. Easy enough, you told yourself as Fred and George popped confetti onto Arthur as he walked away, their lanky frames sprinting away from a charmed broom as it chased them across the lawn. Easy enough... right?
