august is finished, summer is drawing to a close. I hope to have my play finished by the end of the week, I'm waiting on a publishing contract for my contribution to an anthology. Life is changing.
I have been spending my time on a variety of essays, exploring ideas from philosophy and mathematics mixed with contemporary topics and culture. Currently I am trying to find a place or form to finalize these strings of essays into a finalized project. I have been considering here, youtube or perhaps a seperate site.
At this point I feel as though I only need a little push to propell me forward, to put a definite stop to the previous stage of life and move to the next. It's wonderful to feel it so concretely, perhaps daunting but I've learned to manage fear. Whilst the possibilities of the future rush past me I want to take a final moment to appreciate this last august breeze.

Finished my reading challenge a little early this year. I'm really happy reading more and I think I find 52 books a nice number as a yearly goal. I'll still be reading for the rest of the year, I do think I'll try to change some things up mostly length.
Honestly the kindle was the most vital part to all of this, it just makes reading so much more convenient, that goes for any e-reading with e-ink. I understand the romanticism of reading a paper book but unlike, say with writing on paper, having a physical book doesn't add anything to my experience of reading.
My last note on this all would be is that I'm looking for something different to track my reading. I quite like the story graph but I think I may actually prefer just using an excel sheet so I can really completely make it my own and track the things I think of as important. I'll probably still keep recording it in the app as well since I do use it to share my reading with friends.
tl:dr read books, it's fun.

favorite stationery ?
120gsm laser printer paper. It doesn't matter what pen you use, using it on thick and sturdy (but not too textured or gritty) paper is an amazing experience and even though I enjoy flipping through a filled notebook, nothing is more satisfying to me than a ream of paper completely filled with notes.
Notebooks are neat and orderly but the sheer enigmatic chaos of loose sheets of paper is unbeatable.
