Hypothetically, If Klaus Was Still Alive, How Would He React If Hope Told Him She Wanted To Die Normally

Hypothetically, if Klaus was still alive, how would he react if Hope told him she wanted to die normally instead of someday turning into a vampire. Would he allow her to die of old age? Or better yet, if she was somehow killed when she was young (like in her twenties) would he force her to turn into a vampire, even against her wishes?

I mean, Hope has vampire blood in her system so she would turn into a vampire no matter what. She was born with it, it can't leave her body and she would reborn as a vampire no matter how old she was the moment of her death.

But let's ignore this and focus in your question: would Klaus force his daughter to turn into a vampire?

It's kinda hard to answer this because Nik isn't winning any "father of the year" award but I'm gonna say no. Klaus was very much the same person he had been his whole life during Hope's early years and he didn't change until later in her life: we can see this with Cami and the way she handled her transformation. He tried to force her to turn despite knowing she didn't want to: he trapped her in the compound, begged her to fed because he wasn't ready to lose her and was practically fumming the whole episode whenever Cami said 'no'. She ended up turning anyway, but Klaus was very consistent in her not dying.

Let's move to Hope. Klaus had a slight change of development during the passing of the years, he became less of an asshole and was slightly selfless and it was all thanks to his daughter. Hayley always wanted their kid to have a normal life, to grow up and have an epic love, so I think she would accept her decision: it would hurt her, yes, but she would accept it.

I don't think Klaus would ever accept knowing his daughter would eventually die and he would never have the chance to see her again. But once again, this is his daughter and he has never been mean to her. She literally kidnapped her mother and he just told her to never do it again and that he knew it was his fault, but I do think they would fight about it.

But he wouldn't force her, not just because their family wouldn't allow it but also because it's his daughter, the most precious thing to him and taking away her choice like that would make her hate him forever. I believe Klaus would turn worse the moment she died or maybe he wouldn't, but I'm pretty sure he would eventually kill himself to be with her wherever Hope ended up being.

If Hope was killed during her twenties, he would without a doubt fed her his blood, and then they would have an screaming match because Hope didn't want to complete her transition and he would probably storm out. I don't wanna say he would leave her alone (well, with their family) for the whole day, but the day he was gonna die he was busy showing New Orleans to Caroline so I'm not really sure, to be honest. But he wouldn't force her to drink blood either, and the chances of him leaving her alone for hours the same day she was gonna die are small.

Thanks for the ask! It was funny answering it, we all know Klaus is a little bipolar when it comes to the people he loves so don't take this as facts.

Who wants to live forever?

💫🩸 Twilight Advent Calendar - Day 7 🩸💫

Choose one Twilight couple (or an AU ship) and tell us about an argument they've had. How did they resolve it in the end?

There's no chance for us

It's all decided for us

This world has only one sweet moment

Set aside for us.

"Bella, please, we can work this out."

"No." She said, not even turning around from throwing out her closet into her luggage.

Edward gritted his teeth. "You have everything, and you're throwing it away. I gave you everything, Bella, what more do you possibly want?"

"All I have is a life that looks perfect, but it's hollow inside. It was exciting at first, Edward. Being rich and beautiful, having the perfect family. But I can't live the same freaking day forever. God, I didn't even know what forever meant! I don't even know who you are! We used to talk, but ever since you changed me, haven't you noticed we don't have anything to talk about with each other? I could have improved and become my own person, but thanks to you, that's never going to happen."

"Bella..." Edward didn't know what to say, he just stood in the doorway.

"What's the plan, Edward? Are we just going to live here in Forks forever and have boring sex every single night? Or do I have to go to high school again over and over for the rest of eternity? We're going to live forever, but tell me WHAT we're living for, because this sure as hell can't be it." If she could cry, she would have had tears streaming down her face. That was one thing she missed from being human. Tears washing away the poison built up inside, leaving nothing but a sweet emptiness in her heart. There was nothing but poison in her now.

"This is what you wanted. To be with me forever." He said, trying to keep his voice level.

"Edward, I..." Bella hesitated, a lump in her throat, but said the next words firmly. "I don't think I want it anymore."

"You... don't want...me?" Edward said quietly after a long pause, echoing the words she had said to him so long ago in that forest, right before he left her.

"No." She whispered.

He stood shell-shocked. This was unreal, it just couldn't be happening. He was surprised to find he could still string words together in a coherent sentence. "Where will you go? What will you do?"

"I don't know. Alaska, probably, until I figure things out. I have forever, after all."

Edward searched desperately in his mind for an argument to make her stay. "It's dark out...Renesmee..."

"Rosalie can take care of her better than I ever could. She loves Rose better, anyway. And she's always wanted a child. There's no reason she shouldn't get one." Bella grabbed her luggage and stormed out the door at vampire speed past her husband.

"Bella, NO!" Edward shouted, his restraint breaking as he finally realized what was happening. He ran out to the porch, searching through the forest. She was gone. Gone, gone. And it was over.

He ran back to the porch, trying to keep himself composed, but collapsed to the floor in a state of agony.

"Edward!" Someone screamed. Maybe it was Alice. He didn't care. He had fallen, and he would not resurface.

Who waits forever anyway?
