Expressions for little Chirin!

 His name is definitely inspired by one of my favorite movies, Chirin’s Bell, alongside another wolf/sheep movie called One Stormy Night. With these in mind, Chirin’s personality has grown to have several wolfish traits. He’s a bit mischievous, is fiercely loyal, has a voracious(borderline obsessive) appetite, and is clever in certain ways(that is...great with puzzles, mazes, sports, and anything spatially challenging. He’s not very booksmart though! ) 

He’s just a naïve kid who hasn’t fully grasped the gravity of his lineage.  

Honestly I’m like suuuuper tempted to make my own lore for dragons who eat eggs. Your egg eaters have been very inspiring because I really love their lore!! A lot of the time I end up thinking “oh god that’s so sick and horrible. I need more of it!” XD

"Oh god that's so sick and horrible. I need more of it!" Is exactly the kind of reaction I've been looking for, thank you.

With the personalized nature of the effects of Egg Eating, there are endless possibilities for character creation. It'd be a shame if some truly incredible ideas went totally unwritten. I say, go right ahead! Go nuts, and be as creative as possible!

   Having once held a childish dream of becoming a poet, Okira retains a gentle and reflective spirit. This makes him absolutely useless in a fight. Being their only immortal should be an asset, right? Thus Okira’s been tasked to dig deep, and tap into his anger and fury. His only true enemy is the pain he must learn to endure…

So we’ve seen that eating eggs too much can lead to drawbacks, which made me wonder if a dragon who eats eggs of their own element most often (ie. arcane dragon who eats arcane eggs the most) will they get affected by the drawbacks less or more than if the dragon ate a variety of eggs?

Hmmm…I’ve been thinking on this and think I’ve discovered the answer.

If a dragon has already partaken in egg eating(and presumably has gained their own unique “special effect”) then eating eggs of the same element won’t change how their “special effect” manifests or how intensely. It simply doesn’t matter. Their magic has already been warped.

However, an eater’s first egg may resonate with the eater if their elements match, and could result in additional minor effects. This is a baby version of what happens when primal eyed dragons gain their unique abilities.

Does matthias actually genuinely care about any of the egg eaters even if it’s in a horrible and twisted very hidden way?

He's obsessed with them. That's what makes Matthias so terrifying.

Deep down he holds an intense desire to be accepted and loved within a family(DESPITE his glaring evil/rotten core). Except he went further than just projecting his ideals onto others, and went straight into Gaslight-Girlbossing his way to making a found family. His feelings towards the others are just as intense, but what Matthias holds for them...

... It could never be called love.
