Matthias eats dragon eggs, drinking in primal elemental energy to strengthen his body and increase his power. Of course, no clan takes kindly to a dragon that EATS their offspring, so an exiled Matthias had to make one for himself…
He’s recruited several dragons into the small Egg Eater clan, starting with an adolescent drake named Okira. While the number of dragons is miniscule(only about seven dragons including himself) they are all very invested in the practice of egg-eating, though just how strongly varies between them.
Matthias is very…persuasive…which has earned both great respect and fear from his clan. As of right now, they are being held in the Onyx Pr!son for attempting to sneak a few eggs from the Talosian Clan of light dragons. With Matthias’s cunning nature they won’t be there for long…

Oh yeah, it’s all coming together. One of these days I’ll get down to making an animatic with the egg eaters. I found the prime candidate for it, holy hell.
Just imagine: a young Matthias, just exiled from his clan, and realizing that he’s essentially been freed into a world that’s his for the taking, and relishing the feeling. Oh I need to make some plans now! I’m so glad his personality has gone in this direction, it feels...good.

Triple Maize, wasp/bee/fil was just a scry for so long... Now it’s the only one on the site with these eyes! Literally the best hatch ever!
I’m obsessed with her colors! KoiKoi’s profession as a spice merchant is beginning to take hold in the Talosian Markets, much to her glee! Her blends are experimental, adding an otherworldly flare to cuisine.
Much of the attention comes from her side business procuring and producing unique patters onto Koi fish. Elegant black latice on pure white, ghostly fins, metallic gold and silver key, and fiery calico patterns are her most popular types of Koi to sell.
It’s a bit of an inside joke that it’s her hobby keeping her career afloat and not the other way around!
The Original Knights of Talos-Introduction
The city of Talos was not founded by one dragon, but six.
Aurum, Ivory, Obsidian, Orca, and Cerulean. These are the five subclans that live under the rule of Lord Talos. Founded by the knights he called his brethren, these subclans represent the values of their father/mother knights, and have enshrined these values in their own unique customs and cultures. Though these original Knights are long gone, their history remains written, immortalized within the archives of their respective clans.

The way Okira clasps his little hands together when he's nervous!! I figured I'd post the image of the previous video so as to see the detail more easily. It's extremely satisfying finding voices that fit these characters.
The copper filigree that marks Phyyric’s hide is not natural. As a drake he was found by Talos and Phantorime on a routine patrol around the mountain, floundering on the banks of a nearby river. A strange illness, unrecognized by both the King and his Sorcerer, had taken him in its horrid grip...Yet, Talos and Phantorime had quickly begun their work with healing enchantments, concentrating the illness into skin deep markings that flowed across the drake’s hide. It was a tricky and difficult maneuver, but the magic held fast and Phyyric’s illness, rather than his fate, was forever sealed. Though he refuses to speak of his life before the incident, he’s mentioned a deep seated disdain for the ways of the Shadow and Plague Flights...What could have happened there?
I wanted to paint something a little sweeter, and who better to paint than the Prince of Hares?
He was born knowing the language of rabbits, a species he insists has reached a state of wisdom and enlightenment that dragons could only dream of. He keeps a council of his closest, fluffiest bunny friends, who often aid him when tough decisions need to be made...
The son of Lord Talos and Allorema, Chirin is the future ruler of the Talosian kingdom. Fortunately for him, his dad doesn’t seem to be stepping down anytime soon.
Expressions for little Chirin!
His name is definitely inspired by one of my favorite movies, Chirin’s Bell, alongside another wolf/sheep movie called One Stormy Night. With these in mind, Chirin’s personality has grown to have several wolfish traits. He’s a bit mischievous, is fiercely loyal, has a voracious(borderline obsessive) appetite, and is clever in certain ways(that is...great with puzzles, mazes, sports, and anything spatially challenging. He’s not very booksmart though! )
He’s just a naïve kid who hasn’t fully grasped the gravity of his lineage.

YOUNG TALOS LIVES!!
Been checking for antique/metals/metals on the auction house to recreate the lord himself, and finally have him! He doesn’t have the right tert, but I kind of like it this way. He looks much younger, which is fitting for a clan set in the past. The raven set mimics his future clothing, while still having that less-intricate, less developed, more wild feel to it.
Also couldn’t pass up the primal eye
The Final Chieftain: The Obsidian leader Luxtail!
Luxtail is a magician of stealth and sleight-of-claw, using his bright tail as a point of distraction for his tricks. Though his clan's skills were passed down with entertainment in mind, he's begun using those skills for combat and defense from increasingly dangerous animal attacks. He works very well with Lillune and Arkadi, and goes to them for advice or when he needs help crafting new combat techniques.
As Chief, he isn't afraid to change for the good of his clan, even if it means changing tradition. This ideal rubs the Aurum Chieftain Amber the wrong way, and the two end up butting heads in and out of the council room. He loves performing parlor tricks for others, just to see the awe and wonder on their faces. His clan support the addition of combat to their arsenal, but(like him) are still better at acting out a dramatic fight scene than actually participating in one...
And with that, the main players of our Ancient-Talosian tale have entered the stage! The future of every Talosian rests upon on these five dragons...
