You walk through your apartment door and throw your keys into the glass bowl sitting on the kitchen counter.

Desperately, you slide your sweat soaked sports bra off and throw it in the hamper along with the rest of the dirty clothes that you have been avoiding for days. The past few weeks at work have been non-stop chaos. With four groups to choreograph for in under three weeks, your schedule was packed. Typically you were given at least two weeks to choreograph for just one group.

To say you were exhausted would be an understatement. You felt completely and utterly dead to the world most nights after getting off of work.

Today was the first time you actually had some free time and energy left over to relax, instead of the usual brisk shower and sleep routine that had become your new norm.

You hear your phone vibrate in your purse and you searched for it excitedly, knowing exactly who is messaging you.

A huge smile spreads across your face. You text back with fast fingers, the excitement bubbling within you thinking about seeing the guys tonight. You had to sullenly reject their offer of movie night every Friday for the past month, and the absence of them in your life for such a long period of time was eating away at you.

YOU: of course!! I’ll be over in an hour. I hope there’s food because I’m starving!!!

Your stomach grumbles at the thought of food, another thing that has been lacking in your life lately. The boys always feed you well whenever you visit them. They never fail to impress and cater to you, sometimes it almost feels like a competition between them all. Like  a game of ‘Who will win over Y/N this week?’.

The one who, by far, gives you the most attention is Jimin. He’s the one constantly messaging you and sending little gifts to your house that always seem to arrive on the days you need them the most.

You shower, get dressed and head over to their apartment on the other side of the city. Or rather, their penthouse.

The entire elevator ride you bounce side to side in joy. It’s almost unrealistic how much happiness they bring to your dull life. You’d spent the first five years of your 20’s living alone in a studio apartment. Even after you finally achieved your dream career, you still felt an empty void in your heart. It grew more every night when you’d sit alone in your home, eating and watching Netflix. It had been a dream of yours when you were younger to grow up and live on your own, but it grew tiresome and lonely very quickly.

The automated elevator pauses and requests the penthouse pin number, which you swiftly punch in. Stepping through the doors, you peer around expecting to see one of them waiting for you but the foyer was empty. You could hear distant voices and laughter through the archway as you walk towards the sound.

Their booming voices filter out of the kitchen and into the hallway in front of you. You tiptoe towards the kitchen, planning on scaring whoever is in there. Before you can round the corner, hands grab onto your waist and pull you back. You yelp out in surprise and turn into the arms of a grinning Jimin.
