Some of the apostles take him in and bandage his wounds, but Thomas is angry. Then Quintus gets numbered among the disciples and he becomes great friends with Thomas.

Very unlikely, I must say. And It also goes against his character (and position in story too, he is too high ranks to do this, It would be more probable If It was Gaius)
