So I love how in most TMNT iterations, when Raph and Casey meet, they'll immediately beat each other the hell up...and then somehow do a 180 and become besties. 🤣🤣

And we never really got to see that particular friendship dynamic develop in Rise.

I propose a counter option for Rise for the Casey x Turtle bestie crew.

Who does Cassandra meet first and immediately begin to fight?

It was Mikey! Plus, their arcs in that episode mirrored each other. Both of them we're going on their first solo mission but their higher ups didn't trust them to take care of it.

They also parallel each other in the fact that they're the main two kids who got bonding episodes with Draxum.

And yeah, Draxum has to make it up to Cassandra for ditching her but he also still has a lot to account for when it comes to the turtles. And come on. You know those two definitely become his two favorite kiddos right there

Also, Mikey loves to cook for people!

And who is it that runs a group of girl scouts that sell baked goods to people?

Cassandra! Just imagine Mikey joining in on the Brownie Clan fun and helping the girls come up with new recipes. It'd be adorable!

And lastly, Cassandra would make a great pal for Mikey to be absolutely unhinged with. His cuteness can make others forget just how wild he can be sometimes. Dr Delicate Touch, anyone?

Adding on to this, there's so many irl sea creatures that have feline based names that they can turn literal/work off of inspiration from.

Catfish, Catshark, Tiger Shark, Lionfish, Leopard Seal, Leopard Eel, etc.

At this point Nintendo/Game Freak needs to buckle down and make a bipedal cat Water type starter.

AU where when Flapjack transfered his being into Hunter, instead of waking back up in the Boiling Isles with the rest of the Owl House crew, Hunter's newfound teleportation powers somehow accidentally intercepted one of Rise Leo's portals and he gets yeeted into the Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe.
