This was going to be a story (you know, paragraphs and that stuff) but it ended up being a headcanon, lmao. Hope you don’t mind. 

Also, english isn’t my first language, sorry for mistakes.

-So, he is part of the Hawks and you are part of the Ducks 

-Naturally there is rivalry

-You never really get to know Adam or any of the Hawks, but you hated them the first day 

-And you were just as angry as your teammates when Adam joined the Hawks 

-You didn’t wanted to be friends with someone that constantly bother you and your friends

-But thanks to Bombay you gave him a chance, you didn’t trust him at all yet

-In the ice, and out of the ice, you would keep your distance, and you would only talk to him when you needed too 

-So one day he asked your best friend Connie why you acted like that 

“Why she hates me?”

“She doesn't hate you, she is just staying alert”

“Staying alert” For what”

“You used to bother us, maybe she thinks you are still the same person, or you are going to betray us, something like that”

-Since that day, he tried to show you that he was different 

-He would carry your bag 

-He would knock down some guys in the ice if they were going for you

-That kind of things 

-Honestly, he looked like a simp 

-So you confronted him about it 

“I’m doing it because I want to show you that I changed, I am sorry about what I did when I was in the Hawks, ok?”

-You started liking him some time after that

-And then Adam started liking you

-You two looked like a couple 

-Connie and Charlie knew you like each other and they though you both would look cute together, so they pushed both of you to confess

-Then you heard screams, you looked to were they came from and there they were 

-Charlie and Connie 

-Both of you got mad at them, but for a short time, they are the reason you are a couple now

-To summarize the rest, you are very in love with him and him with you, you are both happy and the team supports your relationship
