Okay so I know a lot of people are proposing Summer as the narrator, but that just doesn't sound right to me.

For one, the voice just sounds a little younger than I would've expected summer to sound.

For two, I'm unconvinced they'd reveal summer in a teaser rather than leaving it for a big moment in the show itself.

And three, the actual wording of the narration seems to ve talking about the story of the girl who fell through the world (while obviously drawing a parallel for us, the audience, to Ruby), and who would know that story in the ever after if not Alyx herself.

So yeah, I think the narrator is Alyx not Summer, no I do not have any strong evidence for that claim. It's purely vibes based atm.

Hey so if we're going with that second version of the myth it's probably worth remembering that Fenrir also eats Odin during ragnarok.

in norse mythology, there are two wolves—sköll and hati—who chase mani (the moon) and sol (the sun) through the sky in hopes to devour them. at ragnarök, they finally catch their prey. according to one other version of the myth, it is the wolf fenrir who devours the sun.

team strq already has norse mythology allusions (raven and qrow are huginn and muninn), so if grimm!summer is real and intended to be a version of big bad wolf, well...

...those sun and moon are looking incredibly tasty on the background.

I did have a similar joke reaction to this retcon, but then I thought of a funnier explanation.
