Of The Rain Quickly Strengthened To An Outright Downpour Just Like That Night, The Boy Hardly Seemed

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €What the hell was he SAYING ? Those very books; the relics that both blessed and cursed to their very fatesγ €βγ €his brother really wanted BOTH of them ? !
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €What would he even be WITHOUT that book ? Nothing more than some poor, defenseless orphan that could easily be snatched up and subjected to pain and suffering yet again. And with nothing to give back; not even the promise of STAYING with him and helping their family return to those happy days, what giving up the Book of Vanitas even WORTH IT ?
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €The answer was OBVIOUS.
ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €βγ €How can you be so SELFISH ? ! You don't care about me or Father at all ! All you care about is your own stupid little self - righteous quest of erasing Father's existence and that STUPID VAMPIRE ! HOW COULD YOU ? ! γ €β

ΛΚ βΎ ΙΛγ €ΛΛΛγ €γ €He had been defending himself the entire time too; after all, it was Brother that had started shooting FIRST. He had merely been holding EtoilΓ© back the entire time. But now . . .

There was THE deep sadness in the depths of the brunet's eyes, and the blue moon would not leave him alone, indeed, it would not leave either of its two descendants alone, participating in the weeping in the sky. Streams of water began to tease the doctor, but there were more and more of them, and they came down ever stronger. In a moment, the rain went crazy, making a great roar as it slammed into its targets. Vanitas, who had never put the gun down, didn't seem to notice, even though, by dint of the blows, everything was sticking to him, his locks shining like dew-soaked leaves, his clothes, with his cloak still dropping from his right shoulder and his shirt fused with his candid skin.

Still, combat and war were NEVER easy and though she didn't often find herself on the battlefield like this, she knew that harsh truth all too well.

The tangible difference between the way they were raised would be appreciated if she knew it. A bright young girl like her deserved something easier- kinder. Even if there was still tragedy, at least she wasn't riddle with it. At least she had here and now, with the people who she cared for and cared about her in turn.
"'m always careful, sweetheart. Ain't no reason t' worry about me, I promise."
If worse came to worse, at least she could handle herself just as well as any soldier. Not that she wanted for it to be that way, but all the same. Even if they had once been separated by Underworld and overworld- Eros wanted the best for the people of Belobog. Regardless of where they may live.
So she'd follow behind the younger diligently. Amethyst eyes scanning their surroundings as they went. Ready shoulder there be any issues at all. And she's grateful, at least, to see there's only the one man- what they hope is one.
Following in step behind Pela, she would sling the other man's arm over her shoulders. Despite her own short stature, she housed a strength many didn't typically see. She did so love to play damsel any other time- but now wasn't one of them.
"'m right here with ya, Pela. Let's get our friend here somewhere safer."

After all, with a job as EXCITING and just a tiny bit DANGEROUS as trailblazing, the Nameless should ALWAYS be prepared. He wasn't certain what to expectγ €βγ €but it certainly wasn't a GIANT FLAMING LANCE. Those lavender orbs of his were marveling at the historical weapon; both impressed by its might and wondering how the rest of the train hadn't caught fire the moment it had been drawn.

His hands on his hips, Akio nodded proudly, like an older brother who just taught his younger sibling how to stand up for himself. And in a way, it was, and Akio liked to see it that way.
"Fear not, the Galactic Baseballer - that is me - has more than one trick up his sleeve!" Two weapons on hand was always better than one. He reaches out an arm, and a bright orange lance appears in his hand. Underestimating the weight- or overestimating his own strength for just a moment, the lance nearly tips him over, and as the weapon hits the floor of the train carriage, it makes a considerable THUNK sound. Luckily, the surface only barely scratches.
"This here, is the War-Flaming Lance of former Supreme Guardian Alisa Rand! Pretty cool, right?" He was pretty proud of wielding such a weapon, even if his go-to was the baseball bat. The lance emanates heat akin to a lit furnace, so Akio decides to put it away shortly after.
"So, until we get you something, you can use that, no problem! Maybe we can find another super-powered baseball bat you can whack monsters with! You can be... the Galactic Baseballer Junior."
