Greyro Culture Is When You Have A Crush On Someone And You Really Love Them But You Just Can't Imagine
greyro culture is when you have a crush on someone and you really love them but you just can't imagine having a relationship with them because you've seen so many couples having lovey-dovey moments with their partners and you think you're not as sweet and romantic as them. also you feel like those moments don't really fit with your whole personality

Sometimes reading these confessions makes me sad, I don't know how the idea of you're only asexual/aromantic if you have absolutely nothing to do with romance/sexuality or shun parts of yourself or media that include elements of those two things. Ace/aro just means lack of sexual/romantic attraction, wanting to look attractive to other people or enjoying media with sex/romance or being okay with those aspects in a relationship shouldn't disqualify people from being aro/ace. It feels like the "gotchas" people use to say people aren't aro/ace are ingrained in people as standards to being aro/ace and its upsetting. I want to let everyone know that you can want to look attractive, want a relationship, want to know what sex/romance is like and consume media with those things and you'll still be aro and/or ace at the end of the day. That's not to say theres no sex/romance repulsed aros and/or aces. I'm one of them but I feel like people stereotype anyone identifying as aro/ace as that when it's not true.
Sorry about the long rant but I really care about the aro/aces here, you're accepted, you're valid and it's going to be okay.
Fuck. I just finished good omens. Ahh I'm fucking sobbing too.
