there is something that is so genuinely fucking heartbreaking to me about aled drifting away from charlie and tao (and the rest of the paris gang) post-heartstopper and pre-radio silence.

to the point where they're not even considered at all as a part of his support system.

they didn't fight but they just... drifted. did aled spend their last year at truham apart from charlie and tao, alone?? i guess everyone else paired off with one another except him and sahar, so I suppose they got left behind?? I need answers and details, I just keep thinking about how this happened and it makes me so sad because, realistically, this is how a lot of friendships end. it hits so hard because it's happened to most. but you just wouldn't expect it to happen to this group, y'know?

they seem close now (by now I mean in terms of heartstopper), which is near the end of their second term of year 11 at truham (we know because charlie's birthday has already passed).

i'm assuming they begin really drifting over the summer, which is when carys leaves. i'm assuming this because it makes sense that aled would begin shutting down and shutting people out at this point. they're not seeing each other every day over the summer anyways, so it makes it even easier for them to just spiral alone. maybe they still hang out a bit during year 12, but by the time radio silence begins at the end of year 12, they have stopped hanging out and probably only talk in classes.

She's the girl who annoys you, irritates you to the core but you can't get enough of her. She's the girl who miraculously can make you like her in an instant but also give you the pain by suddenly detaching herself. I don't know if to continue or to rail through it for I know I got talents but is it enough? Doesn't luck matter? Doesn't money matter? Of course it does! It's not just the societal norms but also a criteria for a good and well acknowledged life. I hate how's the world running now but I don't even know if I'm right. In this world, who knows what's right and what is not? In this world, who knows what's good or bad for them. In someway or the other everyone relates to each other but yet we don't like others. In someway, we're all the same. Selfish. Selfish as in not ruin the whole world selfish but haven't we in some way messed up things without thinking or giving a second chance or showing kindness to others as well as ourselves?
