URGENT HELP 🚨
Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in Gaza Palestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are fighting death in northern Gaza and trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to destruction, fear, and instability, starvation, thirst, and poverty.
For nine months until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 15 to 20 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking. We lacked security and stability as we were forced to evacuate our house and left everything behind. Then we had to move at least three times since every new area we seek refuge to gets bombed.
I sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. You can follow me to make sure I am not a scammer and to inquire about any details. Your generosity has the power to make a significant difference.
Please reblog my post, follow me and boost my posts, and repost the link to our campaign across all your social media.
Thank you for standing by me ❤️.
Please donate and/or reblog 🥺🙏🇵🇸

Emergency: Help Evacuate My Family From GAZA WAR
Dear Humanity,
I'm Haya from Gaza , from a family of 8 people: my parents, two sons, and four daughters (two of them suffer from allergies).
I've witnessed the evidence of the tragedy that has struck our lives in Gaza, where my family and I have survived amidst numerous previous wars. But today, we face the most dangerous and fierce battle in the current war. The urgent need intensifies for us, as we have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs such as food, water, and safe shelter.
Here is our story - On October 7th, our lives changed forever, my family and I evacuated from northern Gaza to southern Gaza, hoping to return soon, but it wasn't meant to be. Our home was surrounded, burned, and then completely destroyed, Our home, once a fortress of hope, now lay in ruins, a stark reminder of our shattered dreams.
The night before we left from the north to the south was terrifying. Shelling sounds were everywhere, making a loud noise that felt like it went through our souls. Every explosions shook the ground like earthquakes, sending shockwaves of fear through our trembling bodies. filling us with fear. The air smelled of destruction and blood, making it hard to breathe. When dawn came, we saw the devastation around us, realizing our home was now a symbol of loss and despair.
We ran into the streets and with each step we took into the unknown streets, we felt as if we were plunging deeper into the abyss of our shattered existence, leaving behind everything we own in our home: Clothes, important official documents, the car, and literally it's almost everything - the enormity of our loss weighed heavily upon us.
Our home it was where we found hope, safety, and made precious memories. Losing it felt like losing years of our lives, leaving us adrift amidst the wreckage of our shattered existence.
A brief video depicting the devastation that struck our home and our entire neighborhood in Gaza.
Desperate Plea: Escaping Gaza's Allergy Nightmare
I, Haya, suffer from severe allergy to penicillin-derived medications, and my sister, Amal, also suffers from severe allergies to medications from my family such as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.
These allergies create a deep sense of fear and anxiety for us, as we live in a constant state of tension and fear of anything that may require a visit to the hospital. We fear being given inappropriate medications due to the unavailability of suitable treatments in Gaza because of war or lack of awareness and not informing the doctor of our allergies, which could lead to serious consequences threatening our lives.
MY Father Income
Our dreams are heading towards oblivion in the labyrinth of an uncertain future
My story, along with my siblings, represents a united team of four individuals, three of whom are skilled programmers and one graphic designer. We work as freelancers in the world of freelancing.
As for my younger sister, she is a student studying at the College of Architecture. She has always carried a big dream in her heart, a dream of being part of changing Gaza, of making it more beautiful and better. She looked forward to the day when she would receive her degree and start building this dream. But the beginning of the war changed everything. The destruction of infrastructure and universities cast shadows of despair over her dreams.
When I think of my brother in Belgium, I can't help but feel deep sadness. He has been suffering from unbearable anxiety and insomnia since the outbreak of the war. Sleep eludes him at night, and his physical and mental health collapses under the weight of these heavy burdens, negatively affecting his performance at work. Problems and challenges pile up in front of him without the slightest opportunity for rest.
We all feel psychological pressure and extreme anxiety. The war hasn't been limited to external attacks but has deeply infiltrated our daily lives. We search among the rubble for a little safety and the basic resources for survival. Every day comes with a new challenge that we must overcome.
As we sway amidst the rubble of shattered dreams, our souls wrestle and our hearts beat strongly challenging the ravages of war.
Our parents earnestly seek a way to rescue us from this hell, feeling the heavy responsibility for every moment we spend under the shadows of fear and destruction. They dream of a safe place where they can build for us a better future, filled with security and hope, for we deserve life in all its meanings of comfort and peace.
Perhaps this fundraising campaign represents a light in the midst of darkness, it is indeed the only hope we cling to firmly.
I appeal to the world as a whole to hear my cry and the mournful cry of my family in Gaza. We need the helping hand that reaches out to wipe our tears and build a bridge to safety.
Your donation is not just a donation; it's an opportunity to rebuild life and brighten a better tomorrow. Be part of our hopeful story, for we need your hand to start anew.
The purpose of the fundraising campaign
The goal of this fundraising campaign is to rescue my family - my parents, my siblings, and me - through the Rafah Crossing to Egypt, which currently requires $5000 per person. This campaign is our only chance to stay alive, and I humbly request your assistance at this critical time. I will provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of the expenses, committing to transparency and clarity.

Urgent Help Needed To Save My Beloved Family
Can You Please Help
My name is Sameer Al Khaldi. I am a Palestinian refugee living in Gaza with my family of 17 people in a tent facing the worst war in human history. During the current Gaza war, my house was completely destroyed resulting in the loss of my business and all our belongings. Me and my family have since been displaced in the streets with no shelter, lack of access to food, drinking water, and healthcare necessities. Despite we were camping in areas which were announced as safe, we faced an imminent danger of death by Israeli airstrikes in our camping neighborhoods several times which resulted in serious physical and psychological impacts on us as well as my little grandsons. I am writing this fundraiser hoping to get help with your generous donations to evacuate Gaza immediately to a safer country.
Before the war, we were having a normal life in Gaza having our own business and working hard with my sons and brothers to be able to survive under the Gaza siege. We were preparing for my daughter's wedding which was supposed to take place this summer but unfortunately she got all her wedding dresses and belongings gone with the destroyed house. She's now left with nothing hoping to be able to get married to her fiancé in a safer place one day. One of my sons was supposed to complete his high school education this year and was passionate about enrolling in a university to study business but the war deprived him from this success and left him hopeless while seeing other students in the west bank receiving their high school certificates while he's left behind. I hope this fundraiser with your generous support would help him to get out of Gaza and continue his education and achieve his life goals abroad. The funds collected through this fundraiser will be used to pay for the travel expenses for myself and my family of 17 people including 9 adults and 8 children. We hope one day will be able to rebuild our lives peacefully and get back to stable conditions with safety and protection for our kids like other children in the world.
When sorrow and difficulties strike hard, hope becomes the lone star in the dark sky. This is the story of Amira, a 23-year-old girl who found herself bearing the burden of her family after her father's death three years ago due to the coronavirus.
After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.
My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.
This is a brief about our daily suffering.
Please help me, my mother, my sister and my brother to go out to treat my mother because she suffers from widespread diseases because her immunity is weak and help us to complete our educational journey, me and my brother

-> Siraj is a father of 3 young children and his family has been trying to rebuild their home since June. They have been forced to live in unsafe conditions in tents they have described as "a convection oven," and in the past week Siraj has narrowly escaped two of Israel's massacres that martyred hundreds of people. Despite his relentless efforts, his campaign has been moving slowly. His short term goal is $10k CAD, his final goal is $82k CAD, and he's currently at ~$7k CAD.

I have another campaign to share. Safaa is a married mother of two who is currently displaced in Nuseirat. Her home in Al Karama was destroyed by the bombings.
They live in a tent currently. They have no electricity and are forced to use firewood, often burning their hands.
Their food is often contaminated and the smoke damages their lungs.
Currently, this campaign has only reached 4,199 euros out of it's target 50,000. This isn't enough. If you can donate, please do. If you can't, share it so it can find those who can. This family deserves to get a new start somewhere where they can be safe and free of this horrid genocide.
Do what you're able and please help them.
before we get an official announcement on who is replacing biden as the nominee, im just going to put this out there: do not mess this up. i don't care how little you like politics. i don't care if this new nominee isn't your first choice.
our alternative is trump. third party splits the votes, and abstaining is just going to fuck the entire united states over. your vote (AND support) matters, and i better see anyone who doesn't want trump to be elected and the United States to become a fascist, authoritarian regime throwing their full support behind this new nominee.
we have three months to go. we're in crunch time. if you don't want to lose your rights, support this new nominee with everything you've got.
edit: just in case this somehow wasn't obvious, this is NOT the post to be a pessimist on. don't say we're fucked. say TRUMP is fucked. we can't go back and change the nomination timeline, but we can absolutely support our new nominee and ensure they get elected.
Century of Love: A gentle Trojan Horse* in Thai media.
To be honest, I've dated both women and men. But actually, I did not just date them. Well… I've had experience. Enough. I don't want to hear it. How could you say something so morally inappropriate? It's the truth. It's us people who came up with these moral values. If people change, they should change too. But I can't accept it. You don't have to. Because, even if you don't accept it, it won't change the fact that, in this world, there are men who like men, and women who like women, not… Can we change the topic?
*Author's Note: the concept of Trojan Horse, defined as "any trick or stratagem that causes a target to invite a foe into a securely protected bastion or place", has negative connotations. That said, in this essay I am not in any way, shape or form using the literal meaning of the expression, but playing with the idea of subtly hiding the final purpose of an action to avoid being rejected upfront, in order to make people understand different perspectives or ideas about a controversial subject, this case being that love is a universal feeling, neither bound to specific physical attributes nor meant only for reproductive purposes.
A bit of a backstory to understand where we're coming from and where we're trying to get to: One31, the company producing COL, is one of the two digital TV channels owned by GMM Grammy, which is the largest media conglomerate entertainment company in Thailand. It is a relatively new channel (2011), but it has become pretty popular in Thailand in a very short period of time thanks to its use of traditional TV and online media, being able to reach a broad audience. It offers a wide range of entertainment programmes, from Thai dramas to variety shows.
Thai dramas (lakorn) are a classical genre of Thai TV. This type of story is the equivalent of a 'soap opera' or 'telenovela'. This genre has a quite fixed structure, the story following a main character who is faced with internal and external obstacles that they have to overcome to be able to live happily ever after. Quite often, the plot is driven by a love story. A lakorn is created to be consumed by a general audience, and the best shows are broadcast in TV prime time, after the news, at 20:30. In order for a lakorn to be successful, TV channels cast the most popular actors and many times incorporate Thai history and traditions into the story to appeal to all ages.
In 2022, One31 released Khun Chai (To Sir, with love), on Mondays and Tuesdays. This show was written by the same team as Century of Love (COL). It is a period lakorn, whose main character is a gay man in Siam in the 1930s. The storyline followed Tian, the heir of a rich Chinese family living in Siam, falling in love with a poor man, and the struggles he faces because he is forced to hide his real feelings by his family because of traditions. The main character was portrayed by a very famous lakorn actor (Film Thanapat), and it attracted the attention of a wide audience, including the older generations of viewers (over 40).
The show has a happy ending where the main character ends up with his loved one and is accepted by his family, and he hopes for a better future for all, no matter who you fall in love with. It positively resonated with its target audience, mostly older women who have been raised in a traditional environment with certain moral values.
The success of the show created a curious outcome: the fanclub for the actors is mainly composed by older women (over 40), contrary to the general BL shows fans, who are mostly younger women (under 30).
Khun Chai isn't a BL. It has all the features of a traditional lakorn. And it was perceived like that by the audience. That slightly changed the game, because it showed how older people raised with traditional values and customs could accept a 'modern' view of love without feeling attacked in their beliefs.
After Khun Chai, in 2023 the same team wrote and filmed Laws of Attraction (LOA), with the same actors but in a modern setting. It was also well-received by the audience.
Soon after LOA finished, the writing team started creating COL. They used the same concept (a male/male love story), but this time they took some risks: they decided to cast young new actors, barely known by the older generations but well-known by the youngest ones, which made the show resemble more a BL than a lakorn. They also placed the show in the prime time slot. And they even made a deal with an internationally streaming platform (Netflix) to broadcast the show in other parts of Asia. They created a setup for the show to be successful.
And here is where the Trojan horse metaphor comes in.
Century of Love begins as a typical lakorn. Our story starts with San, a poor man of Chinese descent who falls in love with Wad, a rich girl, and whose love story is cut short because the girl's father wants her to marry a rich suitor. When San and Wad try to escape, Wad is killed by her spiteful suitor when she tries to protect San. In despair, San accepts to make a pact with a Goddess to live 100 years more in order to find Wad's reincarnation and be able to love and protect her.
There we have all the elements of the genre to interest the audience: the tragic hero facing obstacles, the cultural and moral values, the star-crossed lovers.
However, once the audience is engaged, comes the plot twist: a 100 years later, San seems to find the person he is looking for... in Vee, a young man.
The writers have smartly shaped the characters to resonate with a general audience: San is a 124 year old man and, although he hasn't aged due to the curse, he behaves and thinks as an old person. His personal values and beliefs are very traditional and set in stone. He is shown to be religious, strict and follows a high moral compass.
As he says to Vee, "he cannot accept" certain new ideas because they are "morally innapropriate".
Uncomfortable? Why would I be uncomfortable? You are a man. And you had to marry me, even though it's a just a fake wedding to negate bad luck. You must feel uncomfortable. Oh, P'San. This is it? I don't mind at all. Why not? If people know you married a man, they would speak ill of you.
Even so, San is not a villain, he is the hero of the story. He is a relatable character and the audience is led to feel compelled by his tragic fate. And a very important point to understand how to reach the older generations: the script never mocks his beliefs or values, it shows that thanks to those, San is also compassionate, kind and fiercely protective of those who he loves.
But, for the story to advance, the script has to make the audience understand how and why San changes some of his beliefs (the morally innapropriateness of loving another man). What's the best way to do that? Using comedy.
I'm screwed!
And a very basic type of comedy: slapstick and innuendos.
Thus, the older audience can feel more comfortable when watching what, in the end, is a 'non-traditional' love story.
This premise applies to Vee's character as well. Vee is a young man with a difficult past, and the caretaker of his dying Grandma. He is a devoted grandchild and, despite his misfortunes, deals with his problems with a smile.
Vee touches the audience's heart because we feel what San feels: the protective instinct to shield him from harm and give him a better life.
Therefore, if the audience is able to warm up to both main leads separately, would they be against them endind up together? It wouldn't seem so.
In addition, the show also uses the traditional customs and culture in its favour. The Goddess approves and encourages the relationship between San and Vee by all means. And we all know that religion has a very fixed set of rules and principles. If the Goddess accepts this type of love, why would her believers do quite the opposite?
In summary, COL is a lakorn in its content and format and therefore reaches a very wide and varied audience. And it also serves as this gentle Trojan horse I alluded at the beginning because it subtly challenges part of its audience to ponder about what love means and entails: can we deny love to people we don't agree or don't share our beliefs with?.
If love changes people, can people change for love?
"Love is simply just love, and has nothing to do with anything else."

. this is my niece. She came into this life as an orphan, never seeing her father because he was killed in air strikes in the Gaza war. My sister takes care of her. We are living in a very hot tent because our house was completely destroyed. So for a month she has been suffering from a rash due to the high temperatures in the tent. I ask you for the kindness to help me, my family and my niece. I would be grateful for your support and donations to save our lives.💔 Donation link ⬇️🔻
I'm writing on behalf of Intisar Abushammaleh, a Gazan mother of seven.
Since Oct. 7th their life has been nothing but hardship and tragedies. Their home was destroyed and they were forced to evacuate, leaving everything they own behind.
Throughout the war, Intisar's daughter Bashaer lost her husband, and gave birth to a daughter who will never meet her father. Intisar and her family are not only struggling to find food and basic necessities for themselves, but are struggling as well to provide the necessary care a newly born infant needs.
They are raising funds to evacuate to Egypt. They require $40,000. The donations will go to securing travel for Intisar and her children as well as help pay for their daily necessities once they evacuate. They've raised only $4,380.
Please share and donate if you're able to!
If we do not die from the bombing, we will die due to food shortages because the famine war is ongoing
Please help evacuate my family from Gaza. The situation worsens daily, and I feel helpless, unable to do anything. Your donation, no matter the amount, will save lives.
A very familiar frame. Vegas had his, Great will be given his own "smoking in little/no clothes" shot!
TBH, did not see that coming! 🤯🤯🤯
THIS....this is where I will be till the series is aired!
Someone took special care in planning out the frames and shots! The whole trailer is filled with beautiful, cryptic, cinematic shots...one after another.
I know it'll sound silly, but judging by the trailer and that Sammon is the author, it looks to be going more towards the "Triage" route and not the "Manner of Death" route.

Cases of Skin Rash are increasing everyday because of bacterial , fungal or viral infections , on the other sides alot of insects such as mosquitoes, ticks, fleas and flies, which act as vectors. What we are witnessing in shelter centers and displacement camps from the accumulation of stagnant water and inadequate management of waste and sanitation provides a fertile ground for disease vectors. Every day we see in our Medical point about 50 cases of multi-cause rash. 😥💔

Alright, I've solved pair branding!
Introducing...
Polycule Branding!
In which a group of 4-6 actors all brand together and with each other.
So no more 'one true pairing' but 'one true polycule'
It would give us real love triangles! New dynamics! New character questions! I think it's perfect.
My first group? Force, Book, First, Khaotung, Neo and maybe Mark, depending. Just... imagine them! All able to work with each other in any mix they want. The OF polycule branding!
The second? You gotta go We Are the polycule branding. 8 boys all alike in dignity and able to play off each other?! And then to let them truly try different partners? It'd be perfect!
The third? Tay, New, Off, Gun. I think it'd be hysterical.
But just... it'd be so fun! And it would give us so many new dynamics and give actors new freedoms as well as more flexibility to move into new career directions because now it's not just The Two Of Them forever.
Note: Yes, this is just me amusing myself, okay?
