Y/N wakes up the next morning, seeing Jensen staring at her and playing with her hair, a loving smile resting on his face as he admires her.

"Good morning." She says sleepily and he gives her a gentle kiss on the head. "Morning." He says softly and smiles lovingly. "Yesterday, really was the best birthday I had in years." He whispers softly as he holds her close, making her turn her head slightly. "Really?" She asks softly, caressing his chest gently.

"Yeah." He says softly and pecks her lips gently, earning a loving smile from her. "When is the dinner at your parents' today?" "At 6pm." He answers. "Great, then we can drive to my apartment and get my stuff." She says sitting up and stretching muscles.

"Yeah, then you're finally officially moving in." He says happily and gives her a soft and loving kiss.

She smiles and wraps the blanket around herself as she gets up, taking it with her

"Hey!" He yells. "Ups." She says innocently with a laugh and walks to her suitcase. She grabs fresh clothes and disappears into the bathroom to take a shower, getting ready for the day.

A few minutes later, she walks out of the bathroom and goes downstairs into the kitchen. She takes out a pan and starts preparing the dough for pancakes, mixing the ingredients, when she feels her phone buzz inside her pockets:

@jensenackles tagged you in a post.

She continues to make pancakes and tells him to sit down, when the dough is almost gone and the plate already filled. He sits down smiling as he watches her, to him she's the most beautiful and pretties woman alive. He just can't wait to pop the question.

Jensen watches every step she does and smiles. "Why are you smiling?" She asks with a small blush.

She gets plates for them and sits down. "Nothing, I'm just really lucky to have you." He says and she blushes with a shy smile.

"So romantic, Mr Ackles." She says playfully. "Well, I'm lucky too." She adds and pecks his lips gently, a smile resting on their faces. "Let's eat, I'm starving." He says happily as he looks at the pancakes. They eat breakfast, they talk about the party, he thanks you again for the party yesterday. They finish breakfast and keep talking.

"So when do we drive to your apartment and get your stuff?" He smirks, can't wait to make her finally move in with him, officially. "Yeah, I wanted to ask you the same." She says with a small laugh. "Then let's go." He says happily, already getting off his chair and grabbing his keys. She laughs at his excitement and quickly puts the dishes inside the dishwasher, before they walk outside.

They get there 20 minutes later and she tells him to walk into her apartment as she gives him her keys, so she can check on her mail, feeling surprised that she has so many letters, that don't seem to be bills. She opens one of the letters to see this:

You little hoe, I hope you gonna die soon. Jensen deserves so much better than you.

I cannot understand, why you two are back together. You're not good enough for him.

So please just die or I'll kill you, you bitch!

Tears start welling up in her eyes and she sits down on one of the stairs to stop herself from falling. She opens the other letters, more death threats, more people threatening to hurt her, more people wanting her to leave Jensen alone, more people who think she's a bitch. What's the worst, they know where she lives, they found out where she lives. To be honest, she's glad she stayed at Jensen's place, not wanting to know what would've happened if she did go to her place.

She sits there on the stairs, rubbing her forehead, she never expected to get so much hate. She never expected to people to be this bad and mean and wanting to harm her in this kind of way. When she calms down a bit, she walks upstairs into the apartment, she once called home.

"Why did take so long?" He asks softly, packing w stuff, but she doesn't answer. "Y/N/N?" He asks softly, thinking she didn't head him. All she does is sitting on the couch, looming at those horrible letters 'fans' wrote. "Y/N?" She looks at him with red and puffy eyes, he frowns deeply not understanding, what's going on.  "Hey, look at me." He softly lifts her chin."Why were you crying?" He asks and notices the letters in her hands.

He takes the letters and reads through them. His face twitching in confusion, angers, hurt and sadness. He doesn't understand why people would write awful things like ghat. He hugs her tightly and she fists his shirt in her hand. "Jay, they know where I live." She says between sobs. "Shhh, I know." He says and strokes her head. "I'm scared, what if someone really kills me?" She sobs, feeling even more scared of the world, realizing how ugly it really is. "Shhh, this will never happen. I promise." He kisses the top of her head.

"You have to be strong, don't let these bad people get to you, okay? I love you, that's all matters." She nods sniffling and looks up into his eyes. "I don't deserve you." He leans in and kisses her gently. "I don't deserve you." He whispers softly, when he cups her cheek. "I love you too. It's just- it hurts, that people don't accept, that we're back together. They don't know the truth, they're just judging me by rumours, they heard from the media."

"Exactly, they don't know the truth. So you shouldn't care about them, they're idiots. Dumb haters." He tells her softly. She slowly pulls out of his embrace and wipes her tears with her sleeve, before getting up. "Okay, let's get the important stuff out of here." She says with a weak smile.

She packs her clothes, some kitchen things, bed sheets, one shelf she loves a lot and her smartTV. "You know we can buy a new one." He says with a smile. "I know, but we can also use this one, it's just 1 year old." She tells him.

"You're right." He says with a nod. She puts the things into his car, wondering how everything fits in.

She gets into the passenger seat and Jensen in the driver seat. They drive back and unload her stuff. Her favourite shelf and TV come into the bedroom.

The TV goes on top of the shelf, she unpacks her clothes and takes them to the walk-in-closet. After a while she lays on the bed and turns the TV on. Jensen enters the room and looks at the TV.

"Hey! You continue watching without me?" He asks with a small pout. "Uh, no." She says innocently not looking at him. He lays down next to her and starts tickling her. "You're a liar and this is your punishment." He says playfully with a chuckle.

"Jensen stop!" She says between the giggles, trying to catch her breath. "When you admit, that you were about to watch without me." He says as he continues to tickle her.

"But that's not true." She says laughing and he tickles her more. "Sorry, I didn't hear, what I wanted to hear." He says with a grin, still tickling her.

"Fine, I was about to watch without you." She admits with a small grin. He's half on top of her and looks straight into her eyes. "I'm proud of you." He says softly as he smiles adoringly. "Where's this coming from?" She asks slightly confused.

He plops down next to her and wraps his arm around her shoulder. He looks her into the eyes and cups her cheek. "After all these days you didn't stop fighting and after these letters you didn't stop smiling." She feels her heart flutter at his words, he really is the best man, she'd ever have. "Because of you." She smiles lovingly.

He smiles lovingly as well and leans in kissing her lovingly and gently as he caresses her cheek. He hugs her close, while he kisses her softly. She smiles against his lip, caressing his chest gently. He pulls away a moment later, smiling at her as she pecks his nose.

Jensen switches the TV on and they watch the TV show, they've been watching for a while. After 2 or 3 hours of watching TV she gets up. "Hey, where you're going?" He asks with a pout and reaches for her wrist gently."Uh honey, did you check the time? We have a dinner at your parents' today and maybe we should get going." He pulls her close to himself.

"But I want to stay here with you. In bed." He whispers into you her, she swears she could hear a smirk in his voice. "Jensen I'd love to, but we promised to your parents, that'll we be there." She says smiling. He pouts and gives in before the two of them get ready for the dinner at his parents' place.

Writers' Resolutions

A bunch of resolutions for writers and people who want to try writing this year. It's in no way something you must do, these are just ideas how you can set out to improve your writing in the new year.

Try something new

Try to write something you have never written before.

Write something silly, write something serious, write in a different genre, try to write characters that you haven't explored yet.

Write consistently

Writing consistently will not only give you exercise to become a better writer, it can also keep your voice as a writer consistent.

If you have a first draft, write it down quickly and without big breaks inbetween.

Don't wait for inspiration

Waiting for inspiration to come can take forever. So don't wait for inspiration: search for it.

Make writing into a habit that comes natural to you every day, look up writing prompts, read a book you like, get yourself into the mood to write and do it!

Do your research

As a writer, you need to know about a lot of different things.

You can do research by reading books, listening to podcasts, watching movies, talking to other people, etc.

Take this year to learn something new and then tell your reader all about it.

Edit that draft

We all have that one story we wrote a while ago and then stopped at the first draft.

Take it and reread it and then rewrite it. You have a new perspective on it now and maybe this will be the year you turn your idea into a book.

Set yourself a goal

This explicitly doesn't have to be a goal about how many words or pages you write.

Your goal can be to finish something, to edit something, to write a few sentences every day, to share more of your writing or to publish something.

Don't compare

Try not to compare your writing with that of someone else.

Writing is about finding your own voice and telling a story that only you can tell. Also: other people's accomplishes don't diminish your own!

Write!

Whatever the outcome of your writing may be and whatever you want to do with it, if you want to publish it, if you want to share it with friends, or if you want to keep it to yourself: just start writing!

Do what you love to do.
