Somebody Asked, But I Accidentally Deleted The Anon Im So Sorry. Also My Apologies For Answering This
Somebody asked, but I accidentally deleted the anon ☹️😤 I’m so sorry. Also my apologies for answering this so late.
Basically, they asked me what are the dramas that I’ve watched. Truth be told, I didn’t start watching dramas until this year, but I do have a list. I don’t exactly remember when I started watching them (I wanna say somewhere in May) but I don’t think I’ve watched a western-media show or movies this year. These are listed in the order I watched them and I’ve indicated their region and where I watched them.
I won’t be putting summaries or thoughts here because…. that wasn’t the question 😑 plus, I’m not the best at summaries. If you would like to know my thoughts on any of these though, don’t be afraid to ask 😊
The Untamed (Chinese) Netflix
Legend of Fei (Chinese) Viki
Kingdom (Korean) Netflix
Color Rush (Korean) Viki
Word of Honor (Chinese) Viki
Shadow (Chinese) Netflix
Heaven Official’s Blessing (Chinese) Netflix
Eternal Summer (Chinese) Netflix
The Rise of Phoenixes (Chinese) Netflix
The Yin Yang Master (Chinese) Netflix
Begin Again (Chinese) YouTube
Squid Game (Korean) Netflix
The King: Eternal Monarch (Korean) Netflix
The Guest (Korean) Netflix
I don’t know why I’m drawn more to Chinese dramas, but I am and most of these are actually historical dramas (I have many reasons why I’m drawn to these). Also, it doesn’t matter where the film or series is produced (western, asian, whatever) I usually travel between dramas based on similar actors. For example, Wang Yibo was in The Untamed and Legend of Fei. Gong Jun was in Word of Honor and Begin Again. Chen Kun was in The Rise of Phoenixes and The Yin Yang Master. I don’t always watch them right after one another, but I have a huge list of dramas I want to watch and many of them have actors that have been in dramas I’ve watched. Also, contrary to popular belief (especially bc of this list💀), I’m actually not a huge romance watcher, but I do think it has grown on me since I’ve gotten a bit older.
I’m sorry if my blog is misleading at the moment. I did have an idea for what I wanted to so on here, but I’m kinda scared now. Anyways, I’ll get back to you on this topic.

Okay, okay, okay…. I wasn’t going to say anything about kdramas for awhile because I know not everybody watches them and all that jazz but LISTEN. I just started My Country: The New Age. First of all, is already magnificent. Secondly, the show was filmed in 2019 and…… AND one of the sets in episode 2 (it might be used later in the show but that’s where I’m at now) is the same set that Yoongi used in the Daechwita music video. It’s the scene/set when blonde Agust D is being a tyrant and black-hair Agust D comes drifting in the car, THAT SET😤😤😤😤😤WHEN THE MF WORLDS COLLIDE 😤😤😤😤😤 I live, breathe and die Daechwita, I love it so much. I love Agust D. When I saw that set I was like “dang that looks really familiar!!!!” Anyways, it kinda made my day.
Take care of yourselves ❤️
I wrote a letter to Namjoon today.

I haven’t been doing well at all recently and I genuinely have nobody to talk to. Something in me told me to write letter to Namjoon, so I did. Maybe it’s because bts write so many letters to us. I decided to share with the class because…. I don’t really know why. I truly don’t even think anybody is gonna see this, but if you do and you ever feel down, try writing a letter to your idol or whoever. It helped me feel a bit better in the moment, it might help you too.
Anyways this is probably the cheesiest letter you’ve ever read, but I whole-heartedly stand by it 🙃
*my handwriting is kinda hard to read, I’ve been told😅*
“Dear Namjoon,
I just wanted to say that I’m so proud of you. I am so proud of you. You have genuinely grown as a person and I promise you, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Your passion overflows in everything you do. It doesn’t go unnoticed. I promise. You lead with your entire heart and inspire so many everyday. You write your lyrics with the deepest honesty. Your words are some of the most beautiful and sincere messages I’ve ever heard. Your mind is truly something out of this world. All of the light is followed by a shadow though and from your honesty, I understand that your thoughts and feelings aren’t that beautiful. That’s okay. Not everything can be good all the time. Thank you for having the courage to share something so vulnerable. You are so strong, Namjoon. Your are not alone and you help so many people to not feel so alone too. You are so loved and so incredible strong. You’re gonna be okay. There’s a lot of bad and people who will spend all of there energy trying to bring you down for their own satisfaction. They will try to make you feel less than what you are. It’s not true. You have defied so many odds and overcome so many challenges. I’m sure there’s many I don’t know about. Don’t let them or your thoughts belittle you. You deserve to be where you are. Your presence is absolutely beautiful and powerful and inspiring and you deserve to be here. Thank you so much. Thank you for working endlessly. Thank you for leading and caring for the members so well. Thank you for showing how to truly grow into a good person and for spreading your messages of encouragement, knowledge, and love. Thank you for your willingness to be vulnerable and open with your feelings. Thank you so much. I love you more than words can describe. I’ll always be with you and carry your courage with me wherever I go.
I purple you 💜”
I couldn’t figure out why #WeLoveYouYoongi was trending on Twitter. For context: I never go on Twitter. I’ve had it since 2017 and I’ve never tweeted anything, but somebody on weverse posted a picture of bts hashtags that were trending. After some exploring, Yoongi had his shoulder surgery a year ago today. He’s so strong and he’s come so far. I love him so much :]
My heart flutters every time I see a clip of the boys at the Harry Styles concert last night and that they were having the time of their lives. And they met Lizzo!!!! I’m not gonna try to explain how it makes me feel because I’m not good with words, but I’m just so glad that they’re here and living their best lives. I also really appreciate the fact that even tho they sat in the crowd (we stan humble kings) and there were a bunch of armys there, nobody was mobbed, everybody stayed in their place and just appreciated the presence in the room. Warms my heart 😊 I have this funny image in my head of them fighting to buy their tickets online, kinda like what army have to do to get their tickets. Idk what it’s like buying Harry Styles’ tickets (bc I’ve never been to any concert ever💀) but I have this image of them sitting in a room in the hybe building, impatiently waiting and getting antsy about it.
Last things for the day; I figured out how to say it.
The reason why BTS at the Harry Styles concert, having the time of their lives, jamming with Lizzo, feeling the music in their bones, and everything else that came with it was so heart warming, is because it’s exactly the type of message that they’re trying and have been putting out. BTS themselves are breaking barriers, connecting, and helping people with music, despite the language they sing in. Seeing them experience their own goal/passion/message for somebody else is just… euphoric 😭
