Does anyone else fear public speaking?

I would always rehearse lines and perfectly articulate my words in front of hundreds of people in my head, but can’t physically say what I want to say properly in front of a group when I’m put under the spotlight. My nerves always get the best of me and I’d end up speaking in an alien language haha. I’ve improved over the years, but still get this every so often in a new group of people.

I saw my ex today with her boyfriend. I rushed home bursting into my room slamming the door as if a killer is chasing me. Took a deep breathe and couldn't help my tears to fall.

"Why?"

"Why are they so happy?"

"While I'm out here just living life with so little money,with all these depression and loneliness!?"
